My friends and I enjoyed a lovely couple of day in a very beautiful part of the world. Accomodation was lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bunya Mountains and will definitely be back again. This house met our needs, although we found some items broken (shower screen door in ensuite, coffee table, these items were identified as broken when we arrived). The Pool table was a hit with the teenage boys! It was great to have such large dining room and outdoor areas. Electric blankets were nice given the cooler temperatures. We had a fantastic experience in booking and dealing with changes in our booking, really great communication from the ladies in the booking office, clear instructions for check in. Everything was great, thank you. We will be back again.

Beautiful home and location. We really enjoyed our stay. Dealing with the booking office was a pleasure. Local shops and restaurants were great. Of course, bush walking and local wildlife were beautiful, as always. Loved the pool table.
Claire Needham
This place was amazing - the location was perfect for not having to use the car at all - we practically walked everywhere. The view to the bushland area at the back of the house was beautiful and it was lovely watching the birds, wallabies and even a possum at night. It did get cold however - radiators or something else is needed to keep the back bedrooms a little warmer in the coldest of months. However in saying this we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house and great location. Can only use the spa once a day which is understandable but probably something worth noting before booking especially in a house that sleeps 12.
Joanne Elks
Lovely house, plenty of space for a large family/group of friends. Great position over looking estate.
Sue-Ellen Fontana
Wonderful location! Wildlife plentiful.

Great family retreat for the extended family. Grandparents, parents and grandkids all enjoyed.

Great long weekend - thank you

Firstly, thank you for the most beautiful experience. We went up for our son's 21st, and it was just what he wanted. We stayed in Serenity from the 31st December to the 3rd January. The accommodation itself was good, we had a wonderful weekend and made some very good wildlife friends 🦜🦃 Thank you! Kathy Smith

Wonderful stay! Pool table was amazing and lovely to have the ac when it got hot. Beautiful property and I will definitely book again.

Location and house in general nice. The cleanliness of the house was however less than acceptable (looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed or swept prior to mopping - could feel dirt on feet and had to clean ourselves). Multiple screen doors were damaged, (screens and runners). The septic tank appeared to be overflowing creating a putrid smell all day every day (possibly for neighbours also). The gas bottle was empty (luckily Bunya Haven had a bottle with gas - Serenity needs to reimburse Bunya Haven a bottle); this is something that should be checked prior to arrival of any guest. By the time it was identified, the office was closed. The cleaner was still in the premises when we arrived so we went for a drive to allow time for them to finish; yet when we arrived their was still dried on bird feaces on outdoor table settings, chairs and bbq. Bunya Haven was presented in a superior state to Serenity.

Had a lovely stay, from all reports no issues from anyone who stayed. Did notice that there were a few areas that needed a little TLC things like screen starting to come away etc. but nothing major at all

Over all the house was great. Lots of room for sleeping, beds were comfy, great spot, was lovely sitting on the deck and having that view. Unfortunately there were a few things we weren’t happy with. the house needed a clean. There was dust on everything which makes me think it hadn’t been used in a while, or cleaned. This included the pots, pans, and glasses in the kitchen. The pots and pans were greasy and dirty, they are cheap and very old and damaged. One was so bowed in the middle it couldn’t be used. The electric frypan has a broken handle which I didn’t realise when using it and it cut my skin. Also as it’s meant to be child friendly accomodation I would expect a gate around the fire place but there wasn’t so made it a bit stressful with toddlers and infants and the fire going (which we needed as the power was out for 4hrs due to Energex upgrades).

Beautiful location, lovely wood heater. Short stroll to the restaurant and rainforest walks.
ANDREA GANNON
We were very impressed with the great array of kitchen equipment and appliances. Also with DVDs and having a DVD player, and books and games, as well of course as the pool table - are all fantastic. We had a great time as usual. Thanks again.
Barbara Leadbetter
Loved staying here. Plenty of room and most things were there that we needed. Lovely to have outlook to the bush out the back. It was a freezing weekend and my only issue was the bedrooms were like ice. We appreciated the electric blankets but maybe some more heating up that end of the house.
Dianne Henderson
The Bunya Mountains is one of the only holiday destinations that we choose to return to over and over again. We love our cosy winter breaks and cool walks. This was our first stay at Serenity. Nestled in the bush we certainly got to see a lot of the wildlife which was lovely but it also meant that the property gets very little sunshine so it felt colder than other properties.
Caroline Wilson
Great spot for multi family groups or friends. Pool table was good fun. The bush at the rear outlook was relaxing.
Toni Lawes
Bunya Mountains is absolutely Beautiful, we will definitely be back it was so relaxing as soon as we drove through the forest coming up the mountain we knew it was going to be a Lovely break. The wildlife is amazing the Birds and Kangaroos and the hikes were also Fantastic.
Scott Petrie
Spacious house in a great location. We also enjoyed the bird life that visited us on the veranda.
Ann Cleary
Peaceful spot and spacious house.
Dianne Lohse
The house is roomy and suitable for big family. Deck has multiple tables for seating a large number . Pool table would be great if it was maintained and had straight ques. House needs a good clean and upgrade in kitchen. There was not one sharp knife in the place.
Linda Voss
The house and surrounding rainforest made for a very relaxing stay. The house was very spacious, but also very cosy at the same time for our family of five. Easy walking distance to the Tavern/shops and walking tracks. Would definitely stay again.
Brenda Tickle
Loved the house and the position. Easy walk down to the village. Had to change the gas bottle and that was not a problem at all. Barbeque was very clean as was the whole house. Would definitely return to that house.
Candace Quarry
Perfect little get away! Like a little time capsule.
Bronwyn Drinkwater
Serenity was well appointed, lots of kitchen facilities. However the single bed bunk mattresses could be replaced as they were flat and uncomfortable. The pool table and layout of the open plan living was fantastic. The fire place needed some cleaning and attention. Would highly recommend!
Gretta Barton
This house has so much potential but is in desperate need of a good clean and a makeover.
Jennifer Dargusch
We were disappointed with Serenity. It is quite 'down at heel' and very much in need of refurbishment. It is also a very cold house and needs some heating at the bedroom end of the house. One positive is the position - close to the cafe and entrance to walks.
John Matthews
A lovely big house close to all amenities. Unfortunately it is quite a cold house particularly in the bedrooms where the children sleep. The fire place doesn’t really warm up the bedroom areas because the house is so large. However a great house for large families. Easy walk to the main facilities.
Rachael McCosker
Perfect location and a great layout for a large family group. Ideal walking distance to the cafe, tavern and walking tracks too.

Staying at Bunya Mountains is always a treat. The chalet was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed and more. We loved our stay. Thanks
Su Foster
We loved the house, it was a great location, not far to walk to the National park walking tracks. Lots of birds visited the verandah, and the house backed right onto forest which we loved.
Natalie Bax
Serenity was a beautiful house to stay in. Highly recommend staying here to anyone. Close to everything. Cant wait to come stay again.

The perfect size house for our two families. The pool table is always a hit! The location was fantastic with only a short stroll down for coffee and dinner out at the tavern. The large deck was fantastic for spreading out, attracting wildlife and chilling out.
Brenda Tickle
Love the house. Our second time there. Walking distance to the shops is a big bonus. Pool table is great. Good size barbeque.
Jessica Derksen
We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of wood to keep the fire going and there was an air conditioner to help too. The other half of the property remained quite cold though. We had 10 people stay and we didn't quite fit in the dining room or loungeroom. This property is better suited for 8 people, even though there are beds for 12. One downside was that we needed to clean the property when we arrived so it was appropriate for occupation.
Jenni Robinson
We had a lovely holiday. The pool table was a big hit with the kids and the adults. It is a very spacious house close to the cafe and walks.
Ian Lamb
Great location. House is great. Nice open plan for get together. Not a king parrot house, but just go down to the cafe in the late afternoon (5 minute walk). Either bring seed or purchase at the cafe.
Danielle Dunn
Excellent property!! We had such a wonderful time with our family. The kids loved their bunk room and watching the old VCR movies was a hit. Fireplace and pool table were an excellent addition to the property. The birds were amazing and very friendly. We had the resident bower bird visit us daily and even found his bower in the bushes behind the house. We also had cockatoos, parrots and rosellas daily. In the evenings a friendly possum also visited us on the deck. The beds and bathrooms were all very well kept and have good facilities. The kitchen was also very well equipped I could even bake a birthday cake with the utensils provided. There is lots of space in the 4 rooms. And all on one level was excellent. We easily fit 2 couples, 2 kids, an infant and 2 singles. This house also has beautiful doors all around the living area which makes you feel like you’re amongst the trees. We will be back for sure!

again a great house in a beautiful spot no problems and no complaints

Our stay was the best ever - everything about the property was great - the large kitchen table and slate pool table were amazing.
Debbie Livingstone
Love the location, bush right beside. So many birds and wildlife right at the doorstep. Great size house for the whole family.

great location, great house , not keen on sleeping on the top bunk

Serenity has a lot to offer with plenty of room and entertainment options. The deck has views of the valley on one side and rainforest on the other, opening up wildlife viewing options. We loved our time at Serenity and would recommend to anyone.

Serenity is a little tired but comfortable with lots of dust and very dark. I think we are comparing it to Magic Heights but we will be back.
Joanne elks
beautiful house. Large enough for a big family. Pool table was fun. Loved the visits from the local wildlife. We had a very relaxing time.
John Matthews
A great house for the whole family. Four adults and six children all had there own beds and space. Pool table was a bonus. Big veranda with plenty of room to spread out. We have booked it again for next year.

Second time we have stayed at Serenity and we just love it! Fabulous spot, enough room for a large family and plenty of activities within the house! Great for people with children.
Jennifer Games
House and location was excellent.

Perfect house for family group. Having the pool table was a huge bonus and added to the family fun. Would definitely recommend for large families wanting to get away from it all.

Serenity was a wonderful house to stay in. It was very spacious and we loved the wood fire and the pool table. Amenities were all top notch. Beds were comfortable. And what we really liked was THERE WERE TWO FRIDGES!!
David Hurwood
I thought that the house was fantastic in every respect. I can't complain about anything other than maybe supplying some chalk for the pool cues. And one of the single beds was excessively squeaky.
Gary Dyer
Fabulous house to stay in. Well equipped kitchen. Warm blankets on beds. Nice and close to walking tracks and cafe. Love the fireplace too.
Ian Lamb
Plenty of room to spread out for a large group. Very comfortable and very practical. One of the best on the bunya mountains.
Michael Manthorpe
Beautiful big timber house, with excellent entertaining/living space and pool table. Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable beds, bunks etc.
Cathie Murray
We loved Serenity. Wonderful position, lots of room and very comfortable beds. So nice that nothing was musty - the whole house was fresh and clean, including the bedding. The addition of the reverse cycle air on was appreciated on those cold winter mornings. We will definitely stay again.
Cathie Simpson
We have a family tradition now ... a long weekend at the Bunya Mountains once the weather cools down. We look forward to our weekend and enjoy each other’s company, walking, games, cooking ... never been disappointed!

Our family of 7 adults, 3 young kids, had a lovely Easter 4 days in Serenity. Bushwalking is the main attraction, and we did some smaller circuits for the kids which they were proud of doing. The house was comfy, we enjoyed the fireplace, the large family dining table, the sunken lounge and the surround windows out to the large verandah with plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy the valley view and very close bush full of turkeys. The master bedroom bed was very comfy, although some adults felt the ensuite toilet was too inaccessible for other guests, leaving only one toilet between 8 people. We appreciated the second large fridge for all our food. The BBQ looked a bit too old so we didn’t bother. The kitchen is well stocked with utilities, really admired the overhead hanging cup and glass rack. Showers were hot and strong. This Green estate seems older and closer to nature than the bare Orange estate we have been to previously.
MATILDA KEHL
The house was very beautiful with lovely timber throughout. It did however have a pool table which took up a lot of living space, made the fireplace unsafe as there was no guard. It wouldn't have fit with pool table there and was an obstacle when moving around the lounge room and even more so with children. It would also be better if the pressure pump for the tank was out near tanks or moved from under the main bedroom floor. There were besutiful views and lots of wildlife which we enjoyed greatly from the lovely veranda. We loved the bunyas and will definitely be back again.
Marianne Ambrose
This house is in a great position and the floor plan is great for a large group. Backing onto bush was certainly a plus. On reading the 'list' of dos and don'ts in the house I saw it requested the house be left in a relatively clean state as 'spring cleaning' is not done on each departure. Fair enough. However I would consider mopping wooden floors not to be 'spring cleaning' but rather part of an exit clean. This house had a sign at the front door requesting shoes be removed before entering, to which I complied. Within no time at all my feet were filthy and I mean filthy!!!! Please request your cleaners mop the floor at exit cleans where there are bare floors.........
C Carlin
A great house for a family gathering! Big verandah, pool table and rainforest right at your doorstep were highlights. Plenty of friendly wildlife.
Elizabeth Hughes
Lovely big house with great pool table and large dining table suitable for a crowd. Loved the fact the deck was nestled into the forest . Comfy beds and roomy bedrooms . Very clean and well maintained . Loved the fact we could all walk to coffee shop and start of walks but also has the privacy of being in the private estate.
