Enjoyed our stay home was very comfortable great position and had everything we needed. Bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable Bar-b-q was clean and easy to use. Would be happy to recommend Renyar to other people.

The Bunya Mountains are quite beautiful! Wonderful wildlife everywhere, wallabies, colourful (and very tame) birds, we even heard the dingos howling! The walks and scenery are outstanding, and the parks and recreation areas are spotlessly clean and well kept. "Renyar" was a cosy cottage and reasonably well equipped. The kitchen would benefit from the addition of a colander and kitchen scissors (fairly basic and useful utensils). However, in some rooms, the maintenance and cleanliness wasn't quite up to scratch. One bathroom had a faulty light fitting (no spare bulbs supplied) and no light cover. So first night there was no light there. It was suggested we put a bed lamp there. Interestingly there was only one bed lamp per double bedroom? There was a large spa bath in this bathroom (with some very suspicious looking 'stains' in it which made it unusable we felt) and no shower at all. The fireplace was wonderful and a plentiful supply of wood. Although three elderly ladies did find splitting wood a bit of a challenge! I could write my name in the dust on the bedside tables in Bed 1,(literally) so obviously hadn't been dusted for quite some time. Having said all this (and you did ask for an HONEST review), we did enjoy our stay and would still recommend Renyar to our friends (with hopefully these details attended to). Thank you.

I have been to the Bunya Moumtains twice now and it such a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. The walls are spectacular with great views of the mountains. The cafe has amazing food! Would highly recommend this place for anybody. I have booked a third stay this year already!

During our stay 13-17 September, 2021, overall Renyar met our needs. Kitchen is well equipped. Location is good and verandah faces S.E. to S.W. The house was very clean. Some minor issues reported to the owner. Overall we rated our stay at 3.5.

Renyar was a very comfortable home for our weekend away with another couple. Having three bedrooms & bathrooms was great. The position is within walking distance if the village but far enough away to be still quiet to enjoy the wildlife that came visiting.

We had a lovely time at the Bunya Mountains, the cool weather in March was a blessing, even having to light a fire in the evening. Our accommodation, Renyar, needs upgrading, the bathrooms especially.
Julie Bull
The house was larger than it looked so plenty of room for 4 adults . It is stocked with everything you would need. Our only disappointment was lack of chips for fire starting. We did purchase a kit but it's really only enough for one night. The views were spectacular but sadly you can't control the weather. We still enjoyed our stay even though our activities were limited. Thank you

A nice house in a pleasant setting but the kitchen was not clean - the drawers were dirty and we had to wash all plates/bowls and cutlery before using them as they were grubby. The spa bath’s surface was damaged, with big brown spots which was quite off-putting. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This was the best holiday we have had as a family and it’s all thanks to such a beautiful place. Renyar was perfect for our family! So beautiful and relaxing for all of us.

This property was ok but not in the same league as others I have stayed at in Bunya Mountains. It is a property that seems to have been built to squeeze in as many bedrooms as possible at the expense of making it a nice place. It was not very clean and a lack of care was evident in small things like broken towel racks on the ground and no plug to use the spa. Bunya is always beautiful and we still had a great time but I won't stay at this property again.

Was a beautiful stay. Loved the fire and the wildlife and we were treated to meeting the Clydesdales next door. An absolutely fantastic stay. Will be coming back.

Renyar is a nice property however is badly let down due to lack of maintenance and general upkeep. On arrival all the internal surfaces were dusty and required cleaning before use. Some cobwebs and dead insects. Twice we lost water pressure. There were instructions to reset pump however this did not work so we had to disconnect and reconnect power to get water pressure. We also had a tank warning sensor alarm. Possibly faulty sensor? We had no instructions so just hit reset. Listing stated 1 undercover parking spot. Does not exist.

Generally this property is great. Small house and little dated but nothing that really effected our stay. Small maintenance issues reported. Suggestion of larger TV. Beds were comfy, especially with the electric blankets. Other than that, we had a really fun time, kitchen is very usable, great having 3 toilets when 6 people staying.
Ann Edwards
Hi! We had a fantastic time at the Bunyas Mountains, and Renyar was comfortable and in a great position. A beautiful get away
Therese Willey
The house was lovely. Suitable for 3 couples with 3 bathrooms. Comfortable beds, good kitchen, BBQ, DVD player n movies. For the owners, the spa bath was unusable due to rust in the bottom of the bath. Wouldn't be nice to sit on. Disappointed as I was looking forward to a spa. I reported small maintenance issues to the accommodation office which were accepted and would be looked into.

The house itself is very well positioned. With a little TLC you would be able to command a higher fee. We loved our stay however. Great balcony. Heaps of wildlife and birdlife.
Caron Cahill
It’s a lovely location and we all enjoyed our stay. What would of improved it would of been provision of seating In the lounge and outside area for six people Instead of just 4 in a house that sleeps six adults. A great bonus to have 3 bathrooms though 1 wasn’t really usable. No privacy in the open plan layout and it would of felt irresponsible to fill such a large spa bath When there’s not even a drop of water At the Falls. All said addressing the appropriate amount of seating would see us happily return.
Sundeep Gupta
Property is situated in an ideal location, spacious for family of 5. One bathroom doesn't have a shower and the spa was stained so not usable. Kitchen was adequately stocked up with things needed for a short break. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Most windows needed a good clean as there were dead insects and spider webs and the rugs were stained as well.
Kate Clothier
The booking staff are warm and friendly and the property was comfortable and well supplied with what we needed. Bring wild bird seed and you can make friends with a satin bower bird and sulphur-crested cockatoo!
Oren Upin
The house had character and is in a good location. It is spacious enough and having multiple toilets is very good. There are a number of things that probably need replacement like the rusty table and chairs outside, some kitchen items, the missing knob on one of the kitchen drawers that had a screw poking out, or the area around the stove top that was falling apart. The out of order Spa bath was disappointing. The sign indicated it was out of order since Aug (over a month). This was something that should have been fixed or at least communicated to us before the arrival given it was one of the main selling points for the property. There were small things that could improve but overall we still enjoyed our 3 nights stay.

Simple and quant little cottage - suited us perfectly. Had everything we needed. Loved just sitting by the fire.
Rani Winter
Good position if wanting to escape the crowds with a lovely view over the southern valley. Well heated with fire that kept it warm overnight.

Most Beautiful, peaceful amazing place to be. Views are absolutely beautiful

It was a great. Beautiful spot and a great fire place! Plenty of walks to do and so much wildlife. Plenty of firewood to keep it going on the cold days as well.

Great place. Love the location and the layout. Great service by provider. Got to know Allen, our neighbor, and ambassador for the Bunyas in his Horse Drawn Tours. Loved the coffee at Poppies. Will be back and continue to stay for multiple days and nights.

Older style Queenslander, but quite adequate. Best property on the mountain if you are an astronomer looking to bring a telescope.

Had a lovely stay and the office staff were lovely and helpful. Feedback on Renyar: no coat hangers at all in the place (thanks to the office staff we got some for my elderly Dad); no hair dryer which you come to expect in most holiday rentals nowadays; would be great to have basic essentials like salt and pepper, cooking oil etc(that’s always a nice touch). Still had a lovely staff and lots of wildlife visited. Thankd

Location was lovely, however house was not clean. Extensive mould was found in both shower recesses, in particular along the side of the soap dish, and along the door frame in bathroom off dining room. Upon arrival we had to clean kitchen island to remove sticky substance and the rubbish bin lid was filthy and had to be washed. Also mirror in one bathroom had toothpaste splatter on it as well. Windows were also dirty. Such a same as apart from this it was a lovely location, inviting fire place and very comfortable accommodation.
Nicola Rich
Very comfortable. Very efficient wood fire. Clydesdale's are kept outside. Great place for adults as three toilets and three queen beds can be very handy.
Ken Mccarron
Renyar is great and isolated from the rest of the houses but still close enough to the walking tracks, I like the fact that it not behind the locked gates. Good views out to the south west. This house is well suited for three couples with two rooms having en suites. Beds were comfortable and warm.
Wendy Perrin
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend except it was very windy and there is trees/bushes rubbing against the metal window covering on the bedroom where the spa is, maybe trim/cut the trees a bit??
Julie Davies
Lovely house, just a couple of little housekeeping issues, 1/2 sponge & 1/4 of a pot cleaner, & little washing up liquid. I'll be sure to bring my own next time. Great house for this time of the year - would be really hot on the summer with only one fan in the house. Overall though, very pleasant. We will be back.
Kerry Hall
We loved the house and quiet surroundings. The bed in master bedroom definitely needs a new mattress as it tapers down on both sides and is extremely uncomfortable. Pots & pans in kitchen could be updated also.
