Rainbow Lorikeet is a three-bedroom chalet where every bedroom has its own ensuite and the main bathroom has a spa waiting after a day on the tracks. It sleeps up to six, with a wood fire, air-conditioned upstairs bedrooms, a rainforest deck and some of the clearest night skies on the mountain.

Minimum Stays:

  • 2 nights minimum
  • 3 nights on Long Weekends from Friday- Monday
  • 4 nights Easter and Christmas (no arrivals or departures Christmas day, Boxing day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday)
  • 3 nights minimum during June/July School Holidays

A credit card hold of $200 is required upon arrival for pre authorization bond for this property.

It was a beautiful unit very suited to grandparents/ parents and 2 small children. It would also suit having the unit next door if more family came up. The fire was excellent and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our second stay at Rainbow Lorikeet was again very enjoyable with perfect winter weather and plenty of interesting bush walks throughout the Bunya Mountains. However property is starting to show its age and a little maintenance or refresh would be beneficial.
