Perched high in the peaceful Bunya Mountains, The Summit is a spacious, recently updated retreat with spectacular rainforest views and a large deck made for slowing down and taking it all in.

Sleeping up to six guests, the home is thoughtfully equipped for families and guests with accessibility needs. The upper level is wheelchair-friendly, including an accessible master ensuite and built-in storage, alongside high-ceilinged open-plan living, dining and a fully equipped kitchen.

Don’t forget the binoculars — there’s almost always something worth spotting from the deck… if the local wildlife hasn’t already come up close and personal!  Kookaburras, Magpies (our resident JJ), Rosellas, King Parrots and an ever-changing cast of feathered visitors provide endless entertainment — often without you having to leave your chair.

Spectacular view from everywhere. Huge deck, partially covered for those rainy/sunny days. Good BBQ. Well presented and well stocked. Spacious. Ideal for two couples or families. Excellent provision for wheelchair guests. Very comfortable beds. Didn't use the fireplace, but plenty of wood cut.
