Spectacular view from everywhere. Huge deck, partially covered for those rainy/sunny days. Good BBQ. Well presented and well stocked. Spacious. Ideal for two couples or families. Excellent provision for wheelchair guests. Very comfortable beds. Didn't use the fireplace, but plenty of wood cut.

I have stayed at over 20 different houses in the Bunya Mountains and R&R is head and shoulders above the rest. The view from the deck is incredible but it’s also all of the little extras that set it apart. Tea and coffee are provided, as well as soap and even tea towels and bath mats. The house is always clean and well maintained. You’ll wake up watching Eagles soar over the valley below and fall asleep to the crackle of the fire. The only thing that will disappoint you is having to leave.

We have been going to the Bunya Mountains for some 40 years now and much has changed in the accommodations provided. From rough camping in the earlier years to now very generous houses. From taking picnic hampers to now good food outlets. What has not changed too much is the tranquility and the views. We stayed at R & R this time. Great views, clean and tidy. Wood was readily available on arrival. Block splitter was provided. We would take a small tomahawk to create splinters for easier lighting. Fighter lighters are provided though we preferred not to use. R & R located near the end of a quiet cul de sac. Very peaceful and good view of the Downs.

A wonderful stay with the best views on the mountain. Internet reception was great which was a bonus as it can be patchy on the mountain. Lots of lovely cut wood left behind. Very clean. Would definitely return again mid week when it’s so quiet. NB if you were in a wheelchair, the shower and main bedroom are disability friendly, but the remainder of the house is not e.g the kitchen

I am happy to say this is one of the best homes we have stayed at. Kitchen was clean and well equipped with a reasonable sized fridge. Provision of tea, coffee, salt and pepper as well as cling wrap, Alf oil and paper towel was apprenticed. Bed away very comfortable and I loved the accessible bathroom. Electrical equipment was easy to connect and use.

What a great property this is. Everything so well presented and clean and many extra things included to make our stay very enjoyable. From amazing views to a spotlessly clean house we were very impressed with this property. We have stayed in many other properties in the past, but this one had it all being in the perfect position with views to die for. this is an exceptional property, very well appointed with everything you need ..just turn up !! we brought some meals/food/snacks with us ..full kitchen facilities in the property ( bring your linen/towels only )..having a great view and was exactly what we were hoping for . We all enjoyed the very easy 90 minute scenic walk .. the Whiskey tasting was fun too. We would highly recommend this property..

Beautiful outlook from the balcony which is well maintained. Functional kitchen except our stove only worked intermittently over the 3 days. No dishwasher which in my opinion is a miss . A lot of the other houses have one so we will probably book a different house next time for that reason. As far as Bunya Mountains goes it is beautiful and serene place to unwind. This is our 5th time and there and you never get sick of it.

R&R is a great house, very clean and quiet. We will definently be back to stay. The only thing we found was there was no books or magazines and there was a dvd player but no dvds. All up great house.

Wow, on so many levels! We travel with a heavy electric wheelchair, and its VERY hard to find places that make it easy to stay. R&R has made it to the top of our (sadly, short) list!! Thank you so much for the thoughtful details that turn this spacious, structurally wheelchair friendly space into one of the no-brainer-we-will-be-back experiences for our tricky family. The ramp is generous, as is the space inside...no worries about accidentally knocking into things, the furniture is just right for those who don't come with their own chair...comfy, but not in the way... everything easy, easy, easy in ways that only carers of others really notice and appreciate. Seriously grateful for all the little considerations! The verandah is magnificent, and the view awe-inspiring...great social spaces and viewing magic. We all totally loved our time at R&R and hope to repeat the experience. Thank you.

Our 2nd stay at R & R in Bunya Mountain and like before we enjoyed it. We booked into the pub for dinner two nights in a row and both times the food was very good. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Had lunch at the cafe and the toasted ham cheese n tomato was so yummy. The staff had reception are the best evey oh so happy n friendly We will be back.

LOVE......LOVE.......LOVE this property! This property echos it's name. Perfectly positioned up on top of the hill overlooking the Bunyas, you have no choice but to rest. Wildlife in abundance. I will definitely be booking this place again on our return. If the house wasn't booked the day we were leaving, we would have stayed another night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Bunya Mountains. This house was ideal for our situation as my husband is an amputee and uses crutches. Another chair in the bathroom would be good as although there is the seat when showering you do need to consider a "dry" chair to sit on when drying yourself. It was lovely sitting out on the deck with the beautiful views. Our friend had the privacy of downstairs. The walks were beautiful and we must return to enjoy the ones we did not have time to do. The maintenance of the area is a credit to the rangers. Please thank the owners of this property for having the insight to provide a disable friendly home for visitors to enjoy. My husband was quite happy to sit on the deck and read whilst my friend and I explored. We will return.

The Bunya Mountains are a delight, great views, great bush walking, and peaceful and quite. R & R is a great place to stay, comfortable and very well presented with spectacular views. Wood for the fire place was plentiful and stockpiled ready for use. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

R&R was excellent. Everything was in good, working condition. The kitchen was very well equipped. The view is amazing. While the weather was freezing, the wood fire and electric heaters kept us warm. The provision of little things like soap, extra toilet paper, bin liners, plastic wrap, paper towel, etc. made life easier.

The staff at the office are great, very helpful and friendly. They take their time to explain things to you. The house was great, we enjoyed the great views of the valley below. The house is two storey with two rooms with double beds. Very clean and suited us well. Has a great deck with BBQ. Best views we have seen so far.

The house was very good especially for it’s easy disabled access. The views and deck were excellent. It was clean and had everything we needed for cooking with extras as well, tea towels, hand towels, pepper & Salt, and much more. We did find it very noisy if someone was upstairs moving about every noise could be heard downstairs. Would stay here again however as it has a lot going for it.

My husband and I have stayed at R&R a number of times. What keeps us coming back is the person touches, the toiletries etc that makes our stay extra special. Although R&R has other houses around it, we feel we are the only ones around. It is private and the outlook is superb, over a bunya clad valley. The disable facilities is an added touch when we have our mother stay with us, as well as having bedrooms, toilet and shower downstairs for extra privacy. We love R&R and we LOVE the Bunyas.
