Possum Lodge is a roomy, sunny, open-plan home with rainforest on one side and a northern deck looking down over the valley. Three bedrooms sleep up to six, with a log fire, electric blankets and a BBQ, all within a private locked gate estate that is a pleasure to explore.

Minimum Stays:

  • 2 nights minimum
  • 3 nights on Long Weekends from Friday- Monday
  • 4 nights Easter and Christmas (no arrivals or departures Christmas day, Boxing day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday)
  • 3 nights minimum during June/July School Holidays

A credit card hold of $200 is required upon arrival for pre authorization bond for this property.

Possum Lodge suited our Families needs perfectly. The house was a great size and the two deck areas were well used. Cooked great meals every night and enjoyed the fireplace. Laying in the backyard at night provided for fantastic views of the stars and developing moon. That fantastic fig tree provided for incredible night photography. The National Park was brilliant to visit and walk during the day. We experienced and saw a lot but not all? So we have already booked for another stay in early 2027. Did we enjoy ourselves? Yes we did and cannot wait to return!!

We enjoyed our time staying in the Bunya Mountains and at Possum Lodge. Were there for three nights. The accommodation was good, clean and just what we wanted it to be. We loved the walks through the rainforest and just around the village. Enjoyed a great coffee and cake at Poppies and a tasty meal at the Tavern. So all in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Great house very happy. Lots of adventures were had. The new areas at Dandabah are very nice. I even learned a lot of new things I didn’t know. Bush Turkey fact was interesting way to learn it.

Had a lovely stay in great accommodation. Everything you need for a weekend. Walks were lovely and good coffee at the cafe. A bit of a drive from Brisbane, but worth it.
