4 days stay in a beautiful area and a very comfortable and well provided house with a great view. The half size billiard table saved our family for the one day of rain and wind. Weather was perfect otherwise.

House was very clean, had a pool table which we used a lot and had great views. However this did not make up for the lack of a wood fire, the fact that there were 23 rugs curling up and making tripping hazards throughout the mostly carpeted house nor the fact that something on the roof was clanging away in the artic winds like a firebell for 2 of our 3 nights! We come to the Bunyas every couple of years but will not be renting this house again.

Loved it!! So well equipped. Gorgeous spot, spacious and serene. Minor problems with hot water and furniture blowing of back deck in wind, however staff tended to both efficiently and effectively. Honestly, the only thing that would make this property any better is if there was wifi internet. Will definitely be back with girlfriends minus the kids…. Hehe

Mariposa was the perfect home away from home. We loved everything about this house and the ladies at the booking office made our booking so smooth. Can’t wait to return soon. The bunyas are a great escape from busy life to enjoy nature, bushwalks and wildlife!!

The house is beautiful and just right for my family of 8 people. We love the view from the verandah and the abundant selection of videos provided. Unfortunately the electrical supply system kept tripping each time we turned on heaters to keep warm in the cold winter weather. Thankfully an electrician turned up to reroute the circuit breaker just to reduce the problem. Tea towel was insufficient and only one trash bag was provided. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

What a cute cottage! Bigger than you'd think by looking at it from the outside, we were comfortably accommodated. What a wonderful selection of books and dvds. You could feel the care and consideration put into this holiday house We had such a relaxing peaceful time. The pool table was a big hit and the air conditioning came in handy, everything was great. As always the Bunyas infused us with it's calming vital energy. We were lucky to see the local wildlife and enjoy walking in the forest. Yummy ice cream! Rolling green slopes, always a good time, connecting with each other and nature.

I stayed at Mariposa from the 30th of June to the 4th of July. I like a lot of aspects about the house - it was (for the most part) clean and tidy. The owners have thought of everything when it comes to kitchen equipment - juicers, pots, trays, Tupperware, foil, all the spoons and utensils you could ever dream of. The bedrooms are really lovely - lots of power boards and has a nice feel /decor. The only item I would address would be the black mold from head to toe in the downstairs shower. Whatever it was, it was really ghastly and sort of put me off coming back. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

House was very comfortable with plenty of room for 8 people. The upstairs balcony has been closed in, providing a nice outlook where you can sit and sun yourself whilst enjoying the nearby views. House is well appointed with cups, plates, appliances, utensils etc, games, DVDs and enough chairs for everyone to sit. Also, you won’t be cold, with plenty of blankets, nice heavy doonas and heaters in all the rooms. Our family had a very relaxing stay and would love to come back.

Mariposa was a perfectly suitable house for our large family stay over May Day long weekend. The views of the magnificent bunya pines were marvellous, the facilities plentiful, and the opportunities to enjoy the forest walks by day and the starry skies (finally on our last night), were unsurpassed. It is a great place for a family getaway.

This house was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was a little disappointed that it didn't have a fireplace, but that was on me for not checking. Everything we could have possibly needed was supplied in the house. There are some fantastic views from the upstairs rooms.

We have recently spent 3 days/nights (13th-15th Jan. '25) at Mariposa and it was absolutely delightful. It was extremely well appointed and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possible want, really good cutlery, glasses, crockery etc. - not the usual mismatch of bits and pieces which so many holiday rentals have. Even had foil and gladwrap etc. which was really handy. Easily one of the best equipped homes we have stayed in. Very comfortable, our bed was great and the shower had amazing water pressure. Thank you to the owners who obviously go the 'extra mile' to make things comfortable for all who stay there, much appreciated. We will definitely be back. The pool table was great too even though, sadly, it didn't do too much to improve my pool skills ! Thank you again. Cheers !
