Leaping Hare is a newly built luxury home close to the walking tracks, cafes and restaurant. Four bedrooms sleep up to eight on a single level, with two separate lounge rooms, a kids’ rumpus room, a large entertainers’ balcony and a vast grassed lawn with plenty of room to play.

Minimum Stays:

  • 2 nights minimum
  • 3 nights on Long Weekends from Friday- Monday
  • 4 nights Easter and Christmas (no arrivals or departures Christmas day, Boxing Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday)
  • 3 nights minimum during June/July School Holidays

A credit card hold of $500 is required upon arrival for pre authorization bond for this property.

Amazing house with everything you need inside! We had a luxurious time staying in Leaping Hare, the view & the spacious well equipped house made for a beautiful & relaxing stay. We travelled in Winter & kept warm thanks to an enormous fire place, electric blankets on all the beds & heaters in each room. Kitchen was well equipped with good quality knives and a webber BBQ on the deck. Personal touches included T2 teas, blankets on couches, games, puzzles, toys, dvds and cd's, even a piano. There were fruit trees on the lawns, kangaroos and cockatoos also grazed on the lawn throughout the day. We will definitely be staying at Leaping Hare when we return to the Bunya Mountains. Make sure you pop into Poppys cafe where they sell Bunya Mountains Honey, homemade jams and there are plenty of gluten free items on the menu at the cafe. We enjoyed our horse & carriage ride (operates weekends & public holidays), rainforest walk and bird feeding down near the cafe (not near the rainforest as bird feeding is prohibited in that area).
