We really appreciated the country charm of this property. The dining room, lounge room & kitchen were decorated beautifully. The bathroom was modern & the home had plenty of firewood to make use of the fireplace on those cool nights. The diffuser oil in the dining room was a lovely touch. We had a really enjoyable stay for our anniversary & would definitely come back again for another visit with our family. The location is convenient to nearby walking trails & the cafe & lookout. We also liked that it was a gated community. We thoroughly enjoyed spotting different bird life in the surrounding gardens. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Jenny Wren was a lovely property and very well equipped. It is wonderfully situated, close to the walking tracks, yet still private with great playing areas for kids. The house was very comfortable for a family of five. The teenager loved his own tv and space, while the little ones enjoyed the loft style bedroom.

We loved every minute of it. Jenny Wren is a very welcoming and warm house, and it is kept very clean. I really appreciated the cleanliness there. The kitchen is well equipped to cook anything and there is ample space for groceries. We were there with our 2 adult children, and there was always a space where someone could go and hang out if they needed some time out. Jenny Wren has a lovely layout and every morning about 10-20 birds come along for a feed on the front balcony which only adds to the charm. It makes you stop and breathe in and relax. We have not been this relaxed in a long time, it just invites your soul to chill. We are of course already planning out next visit.

We had a fabulous girls weekend at Jenny Wren. The property was clean & well set out, the couches were really comfy and feeding the wild birds on the front verandah was great. The 2 queen beds were really comfy, but a couple of the singles were hard as rocks. But didn’t put a damper on our lovely time.

Beautiful little cottage that the whole family enjoyed. Nice and secluded as well. Just be careful of the hot water in the kitchen tap, it doesn't seem to have a temperature limit set so the hot water ends up scolding hot. Over all amazing place and would stay again!

We had a lovely, peaceful 3 days staying in the Jenny Wren house. A great location, with an easy walk to the cafe and tavern, and there was plenty of bird life and wallabies in the yard. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed to cook at home. A perfect place to recharge.

Such a delightful place to be one with nature - but not without risks. One of our children was stung by the Gympie stinging tree. It would have been helpful if there was a dedicated well signed first aid station in the village.

Great spot for romantic getaway! Loved bunya mountains! House was stocked with everything we needed. Disappointed in size of bath, shd be big enough for two people to enjoy! BBQ needs updating. Lovely wrap around verandah however no sun on it so too cold to sit out on deck to enjoy scenery. Driveway also bit steep & awkward for parking.

I have been going to Bunya Mountains for 35 years with family each year. We have stayed in many different homes and have always enjoyed our stays. I was sad this time that there were not many kangaroos, birds or possums and was wondering if the Dingo's have had anything to do with this. Still a beautiful place to visit.

We had a lovely stay at Jenny Wren - the log fire was great and there was a wonderful selection of puzzles for a rainy day. Most of the beds were comfy (only one complaint on a single bed from my son). The kitchen is fairly well-equipped although what's there is dated/well-used and a few items don't work as intended. A coffee machine would have been nice as well so take your own if you can! Overall, the property and furnishings are ageing and would benefit from refreshing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bunya Mountains. As a national park, it is a treasure. We haven't been there since 2010, and were one of several family groups that booked accommodation for a family reunion. Jenny Wren was the house I chose from a wide range of properties available to select on line. It was as pictured online, and had all the amenities we needed. One family member stayed on the ground floor and the rest of us in the upstairs rooms. It was very special to lie in bed and watch the sunrise through the window in the upstairs bedroom. All the staff in the accommodation office were helpful with enquiries, and welcoming when we arrived.

We stayed at Jenny wren with our family and kids for 2 days in school holidays.We loved this beautiful cosy house.My kids loved the movies, log fire ,comfy couch , beautiful bed, complete kitchen and especially spacious balcony and glow in the dark kids blankets.We enjoyed feeding the birds in the balcony too.This house is a paradise, my little daughter said that it looks like Royal Palace.Will be coming back for sure. Fantastic house with veranda on three sides and all the comforts you need. Lots of wildlife and birds of course at its the Bunyas! The fire and lounge area are comfortable and the kitchen diner area is nicely set up. We were treated to the firefly displays at dusk which was a real treat.

Bunya Mountains was truly a great place to have a break and relax. Do as much or as little as you want. Plenty of wildlife (King Parrots, Bowerbirds, Red Headed Rosella, Scrub Turkey, Cockatoos, Galahs, Wonga Pigeon, Wallabies and a mother & baby Possum) were enjoyed from our balcony. Our accommodation had everything we needed, a cozy fire, comfy beds and a real homely atmosphere .. we felt relaxed almost immediately. We would love to return again, maybe this time after a good wet season.

One of the best stays away we have ever had. A 'home away from home'. Relaxing, peaceful, had neighbours, but still secluded. All the amenities required and space. Wonderful wildlife and birds around the lawns and house to view. Best value for stay, not paying much more than we would staying in a cramped, 3 star motel. If had to find a fault, it would be to have either screens or security doors on the front and/or back door. To be able to open them at night and not have any insects, etc. come through. But otherwise, just what my family needed for some much needed rest and recuperation.

There seemed to be a resident pink and grey galah, who flew down onto the front verandah each morning for some seed, along with the Rosella's and King Parrots. Would definitely stay again!!
