Looked very longingly at firepit, which we couldn’t use. Maybe also an update to the walking instructions to the Tavern that said mostly flat - last Hill was a killer!!!

We had a beautiful 4-nights stay at Godshill Lodge, for 4 adults and 2 children. The house is well appointed and has plenty of kitchenware, along with a great Bosch oven and induction cooktop. The location is very secluded and the gardens give you plenty of options of where to sit or to eat a meal. Wildlife if abundant and there is a bird feeder provided. We took along Wild Birdseed and had many feathered visitors over our stay. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had been renovated and worked well. It was the AFL Grand Final during our stay and it was wonderful that the Lodge had a TV to watch it on. Our only downside was it was a fire ban during our stay which impacted on us not being able to use the outside firepit area, or the BBQ plate on this firepit. We hope to be able to stay at Godshill Lodge again.

Loved our stay at Gods Hill. We booked the entire place, and it allowed us to have space, as well as to enjoy social evenings together in the great room. We enjoyed the wallabies, the birds, and the open space and beautiful position that Gods Hill occupies, and would definitely come again. The wood fired pizza oven has a crack in it and is pretty difficult to get up to a heat needed to cook the pizzas quickly enough to make it worthwhile. The pool table needs re-felting/cue tips replacing. We did still had fun playing pool on the uneven table ... made it more challenging!

What a find. Godshill is the perfect house for a family holiday. It had everything we needed and more. We will definately be back. The pizza oven was perfect for a large group and the outdoor spaces just perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the mountain in this very well appointed home. The house had everything we required & a great lounge area for sitting, chatting & sipping, by the fire. We loved the outside deck area as well & were joined by many feathered friends. It was great to have the Nespresso machine & on the off-chance, we had pods in our food supplies. It was a nice walk down to the Tavern for dinner & the Gin Tasting in the afternoon - even in the mist. We enjoyed the walks on the mountain & the tranquility. I hope we come back soon.

Cozy, spacious and well-equipped house, with a fantastic outdoor area to enjoy. There are games, DVDs and CDs for entertainment. Overall a great holiday home. It is important to note that the two upstairs bedrooms are lofts, meaning they are open spaces connected to the living area (no doors, wall). When the fireplace is on, both warmth and fire smell rise up to the top.

An exceptionally tranquil place to spend time. The Godshill Lodge was comfortable and easilly accommodated six adults and two small children. Can't wait to return.

The Bunya Mountains never fail to impress. We brought a group of friends for a long weekend and none of them at ever been before. They all loved it and plan on revisiting. Godshill is just perfect. Beautifully appointed with every detail thought of. We wanted for nothing. The markets on Sunday were great. We will be back.

We had a fabulous three nights in Godshill Lodge. Great location and the accommodation was perfect for 3 senior couples. There was everything we could have needed (except a hair dryer). The decor was lovely and the kitchen well equipped. I loved that the bathroom products were an Australian owned brand. The games room was a bonus and there were also board games, books, DVDs, CDs etc. Not much at all they did not think of to make our stay perfect. There were a few minor R&M natters that needed to be addressed and these were passed on to the accommodation managers. The ensuite in one of the bathrooms leaked. The fan on the fireplace was noisy and did not work so the heat went straight up the chimney. There was a cupboard in the kitchen that did not close property and the pockets in the pool table had large holes so the balls fell straight through. I am sure these will be rectified sooner than later. The property was in a very quiet area and the beds were super comfortable. We had a great time. It was very hard to leave.

The facilities were incredibly clean and well presented with everything required. The weather was rainy but the lodge was comfortable for all to spread out and the large window allowed us to feel close to the outside. The pool room was kept the kids quiet as well as a separate television area allowing the adults time without interruption.

We had a wonderful family holiday. There was room for everyone to be together or to seperate out. The pool room was a bonus- six teenagers entertaining themselves. The bird feeding area was ideal as we could sit out on the deck with drinks and enjoy the fun of having the birds and wallabies right there. Kitchen well equipped and beds comfy. Pleasant, quiet surroundings with easy access to cafe/restaurant. The promise of linen sheets did not materialise but very comfortable beds and plenty of room for a family. Great kitchen facilities and gorgeous outlook from the windows with loads of wallabies and native birds wandering past.

Fantastic large layout home for a group or family. Beautifully maintained with stunning gardens, lovely interiors, and awesome layout. The bird life in the garden was incredible. Really enjoyed our time in the lodge, and was well worth hiring the West Wing to get access to the Great Room.

This is the third time that I've stayed at Godshill Lodge and it's simply beautiful! That's why I keep going back. The accommodation is very well equipped, with plenty of kitchen utensils, games for the grandchildren and the billiard table is a bonus as well. It was a wonderful experience for the young ones to feed the birds at the back door....so much fun was had by all.

The Bunya Mountains was an amazing escape away from our city lives. The property is located in a convenient and serene estate. For an expensive night rate we were very surprised that we had to bring our own towels and that the house was very cold. It does not have any heating options in the adjoining bedrooms and relies on the main lounge room fireplace. Unfortunately, the fan on fireplace was not working during our stay and therefore the fire did little to warm the house. Make sure you bring lots of warm clothes we wore our outdoor hiking coats inside for most of our stay to keep warm.

Godshill Lodge was very modern, comfortable and well appointed with plenty of cutlery, crockery and dishes. Outside the premises were also attractive. A gas BBQ should be provided for this price. One guest commented that window coverings would help to keep the heat in on those very cold days. We were 3 couples and overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

Great stay in Gods Hill, nice to be upgraded. Very well appointed unit only problem we had was arriving on a very cold day. We were somewhat surprised to find no heating other than the fireplace for such a large unit. Probably just a problem for us having lived in North Queensland and the Territory for so long. Some of the blinds are missing their control rods. All in all a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. Cheers David
