About this property

- This comfortably furnished home is set on half an acre and is a leisurely stroll to the walking tracks, cafes, store & tavern
- Very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher & Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine with extra supplies provided for your comfort
- Enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine, reverse cycle air-con, fire place and views from the egg chair
- Fully equipped laundry & bathroom with soaps and shampoo supplied, walk-in shower and bath tub
- Loft with games area ideal for children to play and sleep
- Large verandahs front and back to relax and enjoy the rainforest views, have a BBQ (Weber) or play a game of chess on the outdoor board
- 2 Q & 2 S (BYO Linen)
- Minimum Stays:
- 2 nights minimum
- 3 nights on Long Weekends from Friday- Monday
- 4 nights Easter and Christmas (no arrivals or departures Christmas day, Boxing day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday)
- 3 nights minimum during June/July School Holidays

Lovely location, very relaxing and quiet and the weather was so much cooler than down in Brisbane. The foggy mornings were great for laying in bed or a cuppa on the landing.

We had a fantastic week at bunya and loved our stay at fantail cottage. It was perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved watching the wallabies and birds who would come and visit us at mealtimes. It was the perfect place to relax, read, play games and of course explore the walking tracks. We have told many friends and family about the peace and quiet of bunya and the coziness of fantail cottage.

Lovely comfortable house, with a nice modern feel. Very well appointed and well-stocked. We stayed a week and enjoyed birds coming to the verandah for birdseed (we had six cockatoos at one time!), wallabies lounging on the lawn, lighting a fire, relaxing in the big bath and sleeping in the comfortable beds.

What a wonderful fantastic cottage. Absolutely everything you need is there. Lots of birds and wallabies. All the areas in Bunya are beautifully maintained and a credit to the people who live and work there. Our Canadian friends were very impressed and said they would remember our few days there forever. 1st class. Could not fault one thing . Superb!!!! 11/10

We (2 Adults, 2 Children under 3yrs) spent 7 days at this wonderful cottage. We loved every moment in the tranquil surrounds. The highlights were the numerous hikes through the Bunya Mountains and the colourful birds that can be spotted along the track.

We visit the Bunya Mountains regularly. Fantail cottage proved to be one of.our favourite stays so far. The accommodation was well presented, clean, warm and homely. Nothing has been overlooked and all the comforts of home has made this stay one of our favourites to date.
