Staying in Bunya Mountains is an absolute relaxing experience. Such lovely surrounds and wonderful wildlife it's a lovely place to visit.

We had a lovely time and the Bunya Mountains are fantastic. Eden is a cozy little house with great privacy but the balcony opens up for the birds to find you at feeding times. Eden warms up at night when the fire is lit and for a short getaway it has everything you need. Still we were not sure what the TV's were for and why you would want to watch TV, watching the fire is far more enjoyable.

Eden was ok, but a few things need to be tidied up. The main TV only had ABC channels, the log splitter was blunt and very difficult to split logs. The house was not very clean, the bed spread, mattress protector need cleaning. Bujt it was warm and comfortable

Pleasant cottage good for a family with two children … peaceful and enjoyed feeding the birds off the deck

Nice house with quality appliances. Pity the axe wood chopper is blunt and can hardly chop the firewood. We were there on some very cold days and nights and struggle to keep the fire going because we couldn't chop the wood into smaller pieces. Fortunately there is an air conditioner.

The Bunyas are fantastic to genuinely relax, experience clean fresh air and peaceful quiet. Eden is a good little house and perfect for a couple or small family. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. On the down side the TV in the lounge did not work properly and, according to the visitors book, had not worked for some time. A thorough clean would not go astray and please replace the mattress protector on the main bed as plastic backing and electric blankets clash. Can highly recommend Poppies cafe, great bunya nut scones and one of the best burgers I have enjoyed in a long time. Reception and booking process was easy. efficient and professional, the ladies were vey pleasant.

We had an amazing four days at the Bunya mountains. It is a great place to stay with kids. They absolutely loved the abundance of wallabies and birds and our horse and carriage ride through the rainforest. We will definitely be coming back soon!

House was perfect. Location is quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed using the fireplace and there is an outdoor bbq. TV screen is a decent size and each bedroom has its own TV as well. The Bunya Mountains were spectacular and the bushwalking was awesome.

Eden is lovely, comfortable accommodation with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Greenery shields the cottage from roads and other houses, so that you feel nestled into the forest. We will definitely make this our preferred place for future stays.

We really enjoyed 4 nights holiday in Eden cottage. The children loved the bird life coming and fed them from the veranda. The kitchen and laundry was well equipped. However the queen size bed was quite soft and you need a mop. I am giving 4 stars because of the soft bed.
Trevor Greaves
Lovely house and location. We found the bird bower downhill from the driveway, and enjoyed seeing all the birds visiting that beautiful tree right next to front verandah, which was fruiting at the time. The birds aren't shy at all.
Tom Behrbohm
We had a great time staying here, the bed was absolutely perfect. Having a shower with rainwater is so nice. The kitchen has everything we needed. We will be back.

This home is truly a garden of Eden. We loved our stay despite the rain. Very comfortable homely home. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Eden is conveniently located close to the day use area, cafes and walking trails. The property had all of the amenities required for a great weekend away. Our son loved watching the paddy melons, wallabies and birds from the verandah.

The property was clean, location was great, the gate was a little hard to open with the key at times, especially at night.

Eden was a lovely cosy home for the two of us, i was very impressed with how well the kitchen was equiped.
Sasha Charuvastra
Loved the house. It was cozy and just the right size. Perfect location as it was within walking distance to the cafe, bistro, general store and walking tracks.
Tully Parker
what a beautiful and cosy place to stay a couple of nights - we found it very comfortable and the young person with me said that he'd love to come back again
Emma Cuddihy
Really disappointed by this cabin. Cleaning fell far short of expectations, tv did not pick up free to air channels, three seats on the deck for accommodation booked for four people.... We are repeat visitors to the Bunyas but left feeling ripped off this time. So disappointing.
John Davis
Good, we enjoyed our stay.
Diana Gheorghiu
The house was great, well equipped and clean. The only tiny problem was that we didn’t have enough wood for the fire, but we got some from the neighbours.
Timothy Seng
Lovely, well maintained and equipped house nestled amongst the rainforest. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. Lots of wildlife to watch and keep the kids entertained.
Courtney Wright
We loved our stay at Eden. Very relaxing and just what we needed.

We enjoyed our holiday at the Bunyas. If you enjoy a good walk which concludes with a steep climb back to your accommodation then this will suit. Eden's layout and design with the deck, great kitchen and living area is great.

Eden is a spacious & comfortable property, fully self contained. The perfect location to explore all the walking trails, waterfalls & lookouts. It is surrounded by rainforest & wildlife. Unfortunately the heating was not working so we had to borrow a portable heater, hopefully repaired for the next guests.

Had a lovely stay. Booked Silky Oaks and Eden for all the family. Eden was the perfect retreat from the bigger house when we needed our down time. On the down side we saw a few wild dogs for the first time in 20 yrs coming here. Hopefully council and state forestry can come up with a plan to tackle it.
Natasha Mayers
Absolutely beautiful place. I would recommend the Bunya Mountains for a place to visit. Eden House was very comfortable and fully self contained however it’s not at all presented as stated in its advertisement as it definitely is not newly renovated and needs a little TLC and general upkeep done. The staff that I had interaction with were very friendly. The Tavern was a beautiful setting but unfortunately the catering/ and lack of catering left us disappointed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
Toni Walker
Had a lovely time.

We had a lovely stay at Bunya Mountains this weekend. Enjoyed the food at the cafe and pub. All staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return.
PETER JESSER
We enjoyed our stay at Eden. There were only the two of us but it would have been comfortable for four. The house had everything we needed and the Bunyas is a great place to relax.
Marelle Kelly
We found the stay so relaxing, so very quiet and peaceful. The home had everything you would need for a short or longer stay. Recommended some friends already. The wildlife was so beautiful.
Michael Wiseman
Seamless booking process, and pleasant staff. It was raining when we collected our keys - a covered collection area would be a nice touch, although what you’ve done with the pickup and drop off is still very good. We couldn’t get the aircon in the lounge room to work on heating mode - it only blew cold air. And the electric blanket on the right side of main bed didn’t work. Made for a chilly, unseasonably cool, few late spring nights. Noisy young neighbours across the road late at night … but … that’s people for you! Otherwise a nice few days, and we’d stay again.

An amazing place, so much to do. Suitable for the whole family. Will be returning, 3 days wasn't enough. Accommodation was perfect, just as described.

My husband and I stayed in Eden for two nights in early June 2023. The house is set amongst beautiful trees and you can hear many different types of birds happily singing throughout the day. Of a nighttime we heard a possum on our roof but wasn’t lucky enough to see him. We had visits from crazy hungry King Parrots, Rosellas and Cockatoos of an afternoon. The house is well equiped with a beautiful wood fire, comfy couches and beds, and undercover parking for the car. It’s in a lovely gated community and it’s a short 10 minute stroll down to the cafe and tavern. I’ll definitely be recommending the house to family ands friends and hope to stay again.
Noelle Bonnin
Comfortable accomodation with more than basics. Incredible peace, serenity and extraordinary bird life . A small range hood over stove might help keep the cottage free of lingering cooking odours and the availability of fire starters by the stove. Some of the visitors like myself don’t fancy or don’t have the physical ability to split logs. Outside the magic rainforest draws you in. Friendly welcoming by all the staff and those Bunya nuts scones , wow ,pure ecstasy.
Sonet De Jager
Had an amazing time as always. Appreciated the hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen. The reverse cycle aircon, especially in the bedroom was great as well as the extra tv in the bedroom. We struggled to get a fire going as the wood was a problem. The wooden logs were too big and the wood cleaver too blunt to use.

Nice comfortable house. Good location.

Eden was a lovely place but needs a bit of work like the table and chairs on the deck are rusted and asking apart. Also I bruised my wrist truing to lift the mattress on the main bed in order to make it.
Robert Eisentrager
Very nice stay , will go back

Hi Our stay there was very Enjoyable. Arrived on the 9 th & departed on 12 th of August Stayed at Eden. Would recommend it to anyone for a top place to stay. May return in the near Future. Cheers Joe.

We loved our stay at Eden - the house had everything we needed and the quiet evenings and dawn chorus each day were wonderful. We’d be very happy to stay there again. Our tip for future guests to the Bunyas is to spray footwear and outer clothing with insect repellent before walking any of the tracks. We loved walking the beautiful trails each day but unfortunately picked up some very tiny ticks along the way. We didn’t notice them until the following day when the bites started to itch. If we’d followed the precautionary advice given about using insect repellent we could have avoided the problem. Poppies beautiful hot coffee and a serving of bunya nut scones cheered us up!
Felicity Winterfield
What a lovely couple sized cottage this one was. And such a fabulous location in the estate. Excellent walking time to Poppies and the first walls nearby. We really enjoyed our time here despite a few issues (below). We fed birds twice daily at least and it was the perfect size for two. Every morning sat on the balcony drinking coffee . There is a little bbq that was nice to cook on.We came in August 2023 and it was lovely weather at the Bunya mountains. There were a few things that need work in the cottage. I’d check they were fixed before staying here. The fireplace chimney needs to be cleaned, there was so much smoke coming into the home with the fire. The axe needs sharpening it was quite difficult to cut wood.

Thank you. Eden was everything we could hope for. Our time was great

6-8 October 2023. My second visit to the mountains and staying at Eden. The hikes and accommodation did not disappoint. Eden is well equipped and has everything you could ask for.
Kathie Grigg
Hi, My son and I stayed for a weekend. The place was well stocked and tidy. Very quiet and great views. The only things I would say is there is a lot of mould on the bathroom ceiling and a lot of dust in the main bedroom.
Bruce Clements
Eden was a great place to stay. The whole area was magical. We loved the walks, the birds.

Had a very enjoyable relaxing 4 nights at Eden house.Very simple but all that we needed for our stay.Walks always pleasant.Birds and animals stunning. Have always liked the Bunyas since our first camping trip there many years ago. Hope we can get back again.

A lovely little house with undercover parking and an elevated prospect. Clean, comfortable and functional. Really appreciated the air conditioned bedroom on hot nights.
Adrian Winter
Enjoyable stay in a fairly well maintained house. Every time I stay there there seems to be some little improvements down to make the stay more enjoyable. Supplied towels is a good touch.
Jesse Cooper
We absolutely loved our stay at Eden. It's a warm cosy home. We brang our toddler along and the owner left him a basket of toys to play with! That he loved so much. Would definitely be staying there again :) thank you to the owners for the lovely accommodation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bunya Mountains and Eden. Mountains are beautiful and the house very comfortable and clean.

Wonderful and Cosy. One of the best views out of the houses.

The house was clean and tidy. However our experience in the house was very disappointing. We had anticipated having a warm fire in the log burner each evening of our stay. Instead the log burner did not burn wood at all well, with the cut wood failing to ignite fully and the fire eventually petering out. This resulted in large amounts of smoke being released into the room whenever we opened the log burner to stoke or feed the fire. We spent 3 hours trying to get the wood to catch, without success. The smoke was very uncomfortable and we were obliged to open doors and windows to clear it. On a chilly night, this made the house very cold. All of this detracted significantly from our enjoyment of the house Either the flue needs cleaning and/or the wood supplied at the house is damp. We were obliged to use the air conditioning units in the lounge room and bedroom to keep warm. Despite running them for 8 hours, neither unit heated the rooms to a comfortable temperature. We stayed one night of a 3-night stay and drove home the next morning. On departure, management offered to send their maintenance man to "have a look" but we declined the offer.

My partner and I loved staying in Eden for three nights! It's perfectly sized for a family of four so we had plenty of room for just the two of us. The house was modern and cosy, and we really appreciated how warm the home was in winter. Thank you air-conditioning, heated blankets, and fireplaces!

Myself and my partner had an incredible time at Eden, the staff we spoke too when booking were very friendly and helpful and the property was beautiful. Can’t recommend enough! 10/10

We recently spent 5 days staying at Eden in the Bunyas. We had a lovely time, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Most importantly, the bed was great - very comfortable. It was lovely to sit and watch the birds flit through the trees and watch the wallabies hop down the road. We will definitely be back.

We spent a couple of nights and enjoyed every minute, the cabin was fitted out with everything you could possible imagine especially the kitchen, it was clean and well maintained.

Stayed at Bunya Mountain for 2 days, having some time out. This place is amazing, did 2 walks and enjoyed the peace and serenity. Great for recharging the soul. House was good, clean and private. Lawn could have trimmed but otherwise no problems with it.

Had a great time staying at bunya mountains again, though never long enough. This time we stayed in Eden accommodation lovely spot it had all the amenities that we required along with some flying visitors in the afternoon. would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed being amongst the birds and the trees.

Cosy little house with a picturesque setting. Birds visited on the deck & we could see wallabies everywhere. Spacious & comfortable enough for a family of 4.

Our 6th visit to walk in the Bunya NP and rent a holiday house. We love your area. Houses have always been extremely modern and every comfort thought of. Eden was comfortable . Great bed well equipped kitchen. We paid $420 for 3 nights.

We stayed at Eden 16-19th February. The house is well equipped and the inside is clean except for cobwebs, however the outside really needs attention. I feel it would only require a house cleaner with a gurney I realise that water is an issue but there must be some solution. We enjoy the Bunya Mountains have been coming for years.
Trevor and Laurel Walden
It is always lovely at Bunya Mts. The grounds are well cared for, mowed etc. Walking tracks maintained etc. We did however notice that the JS Fisher lookout could certainly use some attention. Gardens very weedy and seats could be cleaned and swept etc.
Lil Gagel
The house is very nicely situated, very quiet, amongst trees, very cosy good size for 2 people. The inside of the house and the veranda was very clean. Everything you need is there.
Donna and Peterw Berrill
We had a very pleasant 2 days at Eden cottage. It was very peaceful and if you want birdlife this is the cottage to be in.Also little wallabies visiting at the bottom of our steps.A lovely flowering Lillypilly also was out the front attracting birds. My only negative comment is the dirty windows and cobwebs on the side of the cottage, otherwise very comfy.
Jenny Coleman
Inside the house was very homely - the outside of the house, including windows & screens need a good clean.
Ian Payne
We really enjoyed our time, enjoyed the bush walks and the wild life. Differently like to revisit in the future

Overall our stay was very good and friendly local birds and wallabies. Feeding the birds was the highlight of our stay. Don't forget to bring a packet of parrot and rosella seeds. It was an enjoyable stay.
Bill Dethlefs
We did enjoy our stay. However, we need to mention the following concerns: 1) Microwave showed as being key locked with the maintenance man unable to unlock (it took him 24 hours to show despite us being advised he would visit the same day of our complaint being raised); 2) Kitchen tap leaks - maintenance man said not his problem; 3) Lounge room TV had quite limited channel access while the bedroom TV had full access - we had to go to bed to watch certain programs; 4) Exterior of building needs a good clean; 5) The possums were so 'bad ' on our final night that the house literally shook with their 'activity'.

We stayed for nights for our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed every minute. The Eden is a very comfortable cottage which is well equipped. We had wildlife visitors waiting for some attention every day which made us appreciate the beautiful animals at Bunya Mountains. The food we had at Poppies Cafe and the Restaurant was delicious and the staff was very friendly. As we always enjoyed bush walking, we were stunned about the beautiful walks we did. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay, we would love to come back one day. Janet and Grant Fisher

Thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Eden and the chance to finally visit the beautiful Bunya Mountains. Loved the local wildlife & the forest walks, and the peace & tranquility at night. Our accommodation (Eden) had all that was required for a comfy 2-night self-catering stay. Cafe attached to the Tavern served the best coffee, but Poppies on the Hill's Big Breakfasts were awesomely good & excellent value. All facilities were better than I had expected.

Lovely home, will definitely be back! PERFECT for the 4 of us
Steven Velm
Eden was very comfortable and cozy. We liked how the foliage around the house gave us privacy but the elevated position also gave us a nice outlook. Overall we were very happy with the property. A few minor things could be improved: A new toaster is needed as the lever barely works. A few better quality knifes and forks would be good. And some hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes. The inside was very clean but the deck needs some work.
Fiona Tiaon
Very clean. Lovely spot. Can't wait to come back!
Mary-Anne de Verteuil
We enjoyed the well equipped house which was comfortable and quite cosy with plenty of wood for the heater. We particularly enjoyed seeing lots of native animals and the lovely scenery on the walking tracks.the weather was quite chilly and windy so it was lovely to get out of the wind in the rainforest and at the end of each day to return to a warm place to enjoy a meal together by the fire.
Mark Ward
Wonderful stay at Eden which was our second stay at Bunya. Eden was nicely furnished and had a practical and well appointed kitchen. Would stay again.
Vinicius dos Santos Guim
We loved everything in there! The house was very comfortable and cozy. We had a "chilling out" day like never before. The kangaroos at almost the doorstep are amazing.
Ruth McEwan
A lovely stay in a cosy house. Breakfast in the sun on the deck is so peaceful and the camelias in the garden are like none other.

This is the third time we were there. Excellent area for relaxation thought we didn't do any bush walking due to having kids. Stayed at Eden, nice house-it has everything a family needs. We will be back to Eden next year.

Annelise Ruhl
I really liked this little cottage. Great handy spot in a beautiful setting. Beds super comfortable and the bonus of having a choice of heating is good. Good value for money and we all had a restful and wonderful time staying at Eden.
Reece stageman
Very good house
Gordon Grigg
All good. Comfortable house, kitchen and and furnishing etc. I meant to mention to the office when we left that the kitchen tap probably needs a new washer; not serious, but a slow drip.

What a beautiful place to stay...Bunya Mountains is truly divine. We stayed at the Eden cottage...perfect for 4 people. Eden had everything we needed, it was clean, comfortable and well thought out. The air conditioning was a wonderful extra, even though the temps were cooler it was nice to cool down for an hour or so after a bush walk...we didn’t need it on long as the breeze was lovely through the house. Would defiantly recommend Eden as a perfect get away cottage for a short break or longer.
Jacinta Bowden
Lovely home very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a nice weekend
Deanne Lawrie
This is the second year we have stayed at Eden and it was once again a wonderful experience. It’s so relaxing and our accommodation has everything we needed. Would recommend it.
Tom Jantke
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in "Eden" from 9-11 December 2019. The weather was hot and dry but the house was comfortable and well equipped. Very nice and private. Loved the birds, king parrots, crimson rosellas, satin bower birds, as well as magpies, currawongs and brush turkeys. They greeted us as soon as we arrived. Very highly recommended.
Geoff Partridge
This was our 2nd time staying at Edan with guests from Japan. The house is beautiful and fully contained, the environment beautiful and the native animals are everywhere, including possums this stay. The house has a relaxing atmosphere inside and out. I highly recommend a stay there.
Don McLeod
Eden was a compact ,well presented house ideal for 4 adults or a family group. It was spotlessly clean and well supplied with all essentials for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the abundant wildlife and particularly the bush walks throughout the park. This was our third visit to the area and I am sure it will not be our last as it is always such a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Wendy Buckholz
Had a very enjoyable stay. Can't wait to come back next year.
Geoff Partridge
The Eden house was very nice, especially the nice fire place. The beds were very comfortable with electric blankets provided. The place is very clean and firewood provided for FREE!!! Eden was fully stocked, so all we need to bring was our clothing and food. Small supermarket with the basics available. Staff are very friendly and professional.
Cam Smith
My partner and I spent a couple nights here. Well worth our time. Meticulously clean, cozy and quiet.
Ray & Trish Jackson
Eden was everything we could have hoped for. All amenities provided. So cosy with the fire going. Peaceful surroundings - until the birds arrived which was wonderful. Even a possum on the barbie!! Would highly recommend a stay here in the winter.
ALFRED BAUDAT
The property was beautiful, had everything you need for a longer stay. Just perfect. We'll be back....
Louise Smallcombe
Very relaxing, cosy, fully equipped house with lovely position. Loved the under cover parking, and close proximity to shops etc.

Tracey Trimble
Lovely clean and tidy house. Peaceful and relaxing stay.
Catherine Lawler
Very peaceful and equipment house. The wood fire was great, and the wildlife amazing. The walks through the park are worth taking time out for.
P Morrow
Nice 2 bed cabin. Modern kitchen and reverse cycle in living room. Close enough for a good walk into town. Lounge is getting a tad dated. All in all good spot particularly for kids.
Charles & Janet Hartridge
Trip and stay was from 1st to 8th March and we stayed once again at Eden cottage. Weather ranged between hot early in the stay to cool and misty later as the week went by. This made the stay excellent as we could get the wood burner going to take the dampness out of the air. Week ended warm again so the trip home was pleasant. Wildlife was exceptional with all the birds and possums, we did see our very first Australian raven which is a spectacular looking bird, larger than the crows with a feathery ruff under the neck. Park walks are falling in to disrepair with fallen trees across the paths making it very difficult for anyone with a walking impediment. National park service needs to get its act together as we passed and spoke to many foreign tourists and this is not a good look. All in all a very good stay again, third time at Eden.
Cheryl
Eden was the best accommodation I have stayed at. Nature comes to you and the property is well maintained. All the comforts of home but in paradise. Will be back for sure and I can't wait.
Carolyn Vincent
Really enjoyed our stay at Eden. So peaceful and private. Wonderful for self catering but felt a colender or strainer would have been an addition to kitchen utensils. Also a jug with lid to keep cool water in fridge.
KATE WILLIAMS
Our stay at Eden was enjoyable as usual - only downside was the cockroach that popped out of the kitchen drawer while we were there.
Jill Devery
Lovely property with a pleasant outlook. The mattress in the main bedroom is not the most comfortable but the accommodation centre and owner are aware the issue. Everything else was very good.
Pankaj NAVLEKAR
It was like a paradise on earth! Very beautiful cottage and well equipped!
Bronnie
Eden was amazing, a great little cabin, with everything we needed. Plenty of wildlife around. It was a great visit!!
Charles & Janet Hartridge
It was our 3rd stay at Eden as we find it very homely and comfortable. Well appointed with everything we needed including the bird book as we'd left ours at home. Air conditioning was great for the first part of the week followed by the log fire for the second half. BBQ needed a little repair as the clip on the right hand burner diffuser was broken, still worked ok but had to balance in place. Visiting birds were excellent and the two possums who called in each evening just on dark were a bonus, They did like a strawberry each.....!! A magical place to stay, enjoy and relax with a good book, and don't forget the walks in the national park too.. Charles and Janet Hartridge stayed for a week on the special offer.
