We did takeaway one night sorry to say my choice was not the best, but the restaurant was a great choice . . . love the walks and am going to do a night walk next time.

We just had two nights at Eagles Rest. Such a lovely place to stay. The view is exceptional. Very friendly birds that we hand fed with seed. Very spacious, with everything you needed for a restful few days. A BBQ would have been handy. However, the kitchen was well equipped with many cooking implements. The staff were extremely helpful, and we are looking forward to returning again soon. It was our first visit to the Bunya Mountains, and we were very impressed. We were lucky with the weather, lovely and cool and misty.

We enjoyed our 4 nights in late September 2022. The Titles Estate was well kept and well organized. Our accommodation was tired and dated but it was comfortable, clean, well equipped, and provided everything that was promised. We didn't pay 5 star rates, so we thought it was good value. We enjoyed the superb views, the privacy and the quietness. Altogether, we had a relaxing and refreshing holiday. We plan to revisit.

The house is roomy and has a nice open view. A major complaint, which can be easily fixed, is that the upstairs beds are awful. They are way too old and very uncomfortable and need replacing. A minor complaint is that the access to the deck is very steep and would be muddy & slippery in wet weather. Not a problem for us as it was dry.

A lovely 2 storey timber cottage perched on the edge of the escarpment, with stunning views out across the valley. The lower balcony is great for having breakfast with all the birds and the upper balcony for afternoon tea for two. With 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchen areas, this house is really well set up for 2 families, a few couples or a group of friends. With wallabies visiting every day and so many different birds, it surely is a magical place.

We had a delightful stay in this very comfortable house.We had Austrian visitors with us who loved the outlook from the deck and the birds who came visiting each morning.It was cold enough to light the fire in the evening and the house was cosy and extremely well equipped and everyone loved their bed.We were very happy with our choice.

Next time would be booking the same house a bit longer ! very cosy, a lot of room but the drive way was. okay ? would be nice if it had one. highly recommended to other people to stay in a beautiful view on the verandah and the bedroom windows! the service on my phone was very good able to do stuff on my phone thats the bonus.

EAGLES REST - Extremely tired and run down. This particular property requires a complete overhaul within and out. Also requires a deep clean as it is extremely dirty. Bunya Mountains makes for a lovely ‘winter’ break.

EAGLES REST - PARTICULARLY RUN DOWN & EXTREMELY FILTHY. Mould everywhere. Doors, screens and locks broken. Extremely filthy within. External decks and rails rotting. This property has had nothing spent on it in decades. It should be removed from rental until it is completely overhauled in and out.

Beautiful location and loved the house and restaurant in the estate. Checking in was somewhat mixed up as I was told the office was open to 7pm yet was closed when we arrived at 6.45pm. Organised linen package yet that wasn’t ready either. Would recommend guests check, check and check before arriving.

We four couples enjoyed relaxing days in this attractive two storey house with awesome views from the deck, visiting birds, two living areas, and plenty of space. The 'fourth bedroom' is easily accessible, though not private in that the loft beds are actually in the big open living area upstairs. It has a wonderful log fire downstairs, comfy sofas upstairs and down. A great oasis to return to after long walks on the mountain!

Our stay was great. We always love coming up here. Absolutely beautiful views from this home and great kids area upstairs, just needed a DVD player up there. The kitchenette upstairs was a real bonus with having the grand kids up there. Wallabies and babies , Cockatoos Currawongs and Rosella's all added to our stay. Looking forward to our next opportunity to stay up there.

Spent a lovely weekend with friends. Eagles Rest is a nice house, however its age is showing - in need of some love and attention (fireplace definitely needs some repair - door doesn't shut properly and needs a good cleanout/service as not heating terribly well). General cleanliness seemed a little less them optimum as well (there were crumbs in the cutlery drawer, something that looked like coleslaw under the coffee table). Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Bunya Tavern (the special of the night (lamb) was devine! as was the baked brie) with great service and food.

It was a cool misty and slightly rainy visit of 3 nights. We were very happy to enjoy it as it was, particularly seeing birds, being out in the natural environment and walking. Eagles Rest was spacious, clean and met our needs very well.

Eagles Rest is almost at the end of the road in the Green Gate estate - it is high set and very private with a magnificent view. It is a two storey house with quite a lot of space and two bathrooms. Our stay was in mid-winter and it was cold. The wood fire was pretty effective - especially by the second day. The two downstairs bedrooms had electric blankets and the bathroom was heated. A heater in the upstairs bathroom would have been appreciated. Also, as washing up is the responsibility of departing guests - a dishwasher would be good. Had it been a bit warmer, we would have made much more use of the deck. Next time! The area itself is beautiful and there are a number of very enjoyable walks. It really is a special place and we had a lovely time overall. It's a great place to spend some time with friends.

We had a fantastic weekend in the Bunyas for our groups xmas in July. The booking process was great and our emails were always answered promptly. Booking in at reception was easy and the staff very friendly. The check out was also fabulous and the staff were very helpful in suggestions of houses to book for next year. In regards to Eagles Rest. It is an older building that could do with some renovations. Maybe placing an awning over the veranda to enable there to be shelter if it rained. There were plenty of utensils in the kitchen However the stove needs upgrading as it doesn’t work properly. The bathrooms were great however bedrooms need upgrading with mattresses replaced as they were very hard. Other than those few things the house was comfortable for our weekend and the fireplaces warmed the house fantastically Maybe just add a Webber has bbq so cooking can be done outside as well

Accommodation was good, great views, log fire was warm and toasty. Plenty of blankets and kitchen well stocked with cutlery, crockery and glasses. There were a few blown light bulbs. We were disappointed there was no bbq, as we had planned our bbq dinner from Laura telling us there was a bbq there.

We had a very nice time staying at Eagles Rest even though we had terrible weather. The fireplace was perfect to sit near on the rainy days. The kitchen was very spacious and easy to cook in. When the clouds briefly cleared up the view was great. Thoughts for improvements; There should be some type of sidewalk or walkway to get from the driveway to the deck or door, the rain and mud made this walk very slippery. You should be sure to check all lights have working lightbulbs, the lighting in the house was very dim to start with and it didn't help to have broken bulbs. The upstairs toilet seat was revolting and there is no excuse for keeping such an old and disgusting seat when replacements are very inexpensive. One of the downstairs bedrooms has far too much furniture in it, not enough room to put our bags. Additional hooks would be very useful to hang up coats. While the dining table is great because it can fit so many people it is just too large for the space making it hard to walk past. (If the limit is 9 guests in the house why are there 10 chairs?) Perhaps smaller chairs can help. Hope this feedback is helpful.

Eagle Rest-Thank you guys. We really enjoyed our stay. No issues at all. 5/5 It was a bit disappointing being unable to buy Bunya nuts from the shop or cafe :-/
