Currawong was amazing! You can see the love and care that the owners put into that property. To us Currawong was truly a home away from home, it has everything you can think of and more, the kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms spacious and very comfortable. They had board games and books, and a beautiful fireplace for those cold days were you just want to stay in, just amazing. The views from the kitchen window and the veranda into the thick forest were gorgeous too. Our overall experience was very positive and we would definitely recommend Currawong to friends and family. Until we see you again Currawong!

Our first stay at 'Currawong', the house was wonderful, and worked well to accommodate our extended family. I especially liked the owners generous supply of games and books for all ages (and their kind offer to loan their books out) We have a family from age 2 to 80 so this was appreciated, as was the baby gate. All up a lovely home from a family that has stayed in many Bunya properties over the years.

Fireplace, reverse cycle aircon, electric blankets, doonas and rugs to keep you warm when the mountains are misty. Games, books and DVDs and birds coming to feed on the large deck kept us all amused when we weren't hiking in the beautiful National park , running over the green hills or riding mountain bikes on the mountain bike tracks nearby. Everything clean and comfortable. Thank- you. Also the booking team were very helpful and organised.

We really enjoyed our stay. One thing however. I think you should warn guest in regards to access during wet weather. We had a lot of trouble driving out of the property after parking on the lower side of the house because of the very wet conditions.

Awesome location for a peaceful, relaxing girls weekend away. My 4 friends and I loved staying at Currawong House. We each had a separate bed and the facilities were ideal. The cafe and tavern is only a short distance away and is handy if you don't wish to bring your own food and drinks. Will definitely be back!!

Currawong was the most modern and best kept property we have stayed at Bunya. Ceiling fans and air/heating unit make a big difference on colder or hotter days. The owners have instructions posted for everything so it makes for a stress free holiday. Great sport to see wallabies and to feed birds.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Currawong which was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. However.. a real downside was the empty gas bottle. We had all chipped in to bar b q a feast and was very disappointed to find this was not possible. Also we were advised the next day that it was our responsibility to check if there was gas in the bottle. A bit late when we went to cook up at 1830. Also we were advised we would have to bring the empty bottle down for exchange. None of us, no longer young and one with a hernia, felt up to this task. Surely it's not too much to ask to have adequate gas in the bottle on arrival.

We had a great weekend at Bunya Mountains. Nice and chilly. Once we got the fire going it really helped to warm up the house. A/C was a bonus. The house was well appointed. We have been going t0 Bunya for 30 years so are well aware of what we need. This house had little extras like paper towel and cling wrap, & condiments. Heaps of plates and cups , a great holiday house.
