Clear View was perfect for our family of six adults and four children aged between 1 and 6. The design, fit out and aspect was exceptional and well above the average. Things like comfortable but robust furniture, plenty of good quality cooking facilities and two family size bathrooms made it the perfect choice. Congratulations to the QCWA for all they have done to finesse this property for families.

Spent 4 nights at Clear View. The house was very well equipped and the views were magnificent. What impressed me the most was the house was built with disability in mind. One of the bathrooms was a disabled bathroom (equipped with a fold down shower chair, plus a free standing one). A ramp leading out the the deck allowed the wheelchair occupant access to the veranda. Would recommend this place, especially if bathroom accessibility is something you need.

Clear View was the perfect house for my family. Lots of room to spread out, and everything we needed to be comfortable. We loved seeing the heavy horses who obviously stay near the house, and also enjoyed the local wallabies and even a wild dog. This was my first time not camping up there, and it was so great to be able to cook a lamb roast and have hot showers and warm beds after a lovely day hiking.

This was our third time staying at Bunya Mountain, R n R and Eungella. I feel that maintenance needs to be on going on these properties. One of my party needing the disabled bathroom because of the hand hold shower for the problem they had. The hand hold shower squirted water everywhere so that it could not be used as needed. I did report the problem to Emma but alas was not fixed during our stay. The ceiling light in the kitchen was broken hence making the kitchen dark. Light in disable bathroom did not work had to have heat light on. Housekeeping need to up their game. Loved the house. We also had problems at Eungella with a door not closing and we had to strap it shut during our stay. Just feel these maintenance problems should be looked at before guests arrive. The housekeeping staff should find and report to the office. Apart from that we would certainly be back, staff are very friendly. Dates in 10th March and out 13th March

We had a great time in this home. Lots of room to move about with a group of eight including our daughter in a motorised wheelchair. Wheelchair access to the property and all the spaces within the home was great. The accessible bathroom was fantastic. The views were exceptional.

The property was simply fantastic. Roomy, clean, no fuss and with all that we required. We all thought it was one of the best holiday lets we had all stayed at. We had lovely evenings sitting on the verandah watching the many varieties of birds land on the verandah railings and the wallabies eating the lawn. In the morning, we watched the clouds lift from the mountain before we began our walks. The National park has a variety of environments to experience. All was stunningly beautiful and well maintained.

We enjoyed the cottage. Very minor issues. Property in overall decent condition. Very positive experience. I will just list few suggestions. Fireplace- handle missing, some timber fitted, this does not prevent from burning fingers as metal gets super hot. This goes for air vent lever, handle missing completely. Dishwasher and general cleaning sponges would be desirable.

We absolutely love this house! We have been here twice and have rebooked for next year. The views are divine and the home itself is perfect. We have always found it to be clean and neat and there is always a pile of cut firewood by the back door. Access is easy and it is a short walk to the trail head at the bottom of the hill. Love it!

Accommodation was exactly what we needed for a group with a person with mobility issues. All amenities were available. The King Singles were not King Singles but smaller. The linen we brought did not fit well. ( It didn’t affect our ability to sleep, though). All other features of the property were as described. The Accommodation centre Staff were most helpful. Clear view was in a good location with great views.

As a regular customer to the Bunya Mountains, every experience is great. This accommodation was disappointing over the little things. Firstly, great views and accommodation overall was fine. However, the accommodation is becoming tired and needs a deep clean to bring it back to the amazing potential it holds.

We all had a fabulous time the house was amazing. So spacious and comfortable with everything we could possibility imagine at our fingertips. We had storms almost every afternoon ( to be expected this time of year ) so the undercover carports and verandah were very welcome. We will come again. Clear View' was the perfect size for our family of seven adults and three young children, with the large, wide verandahs a definite advantage with the children. The kitchen, particularly, was well-appointed with everything we needed, and more! The fire and the electric blankets were the 'icing on the cake!' My initial communication with Sue impressed me a lot. She was friendly, helpful, patient, and empathetic when I realised I'd just missed out on the house we'd chosen. Thank you, Sue! We had a great time!

Review. .. We had a lovely stay at Clear view in the clouds all weekend 24th to 27th july . Very comfortable house accommodated all our needs. Probably one of the nicest homes we have stayed in over the 30 plus yrs coming to the Bunyas . Maybe the only thing we could suggest is a few plastic cups, glasses and plates for the kids . We will definitely be back thank you for the memories Bunya Mountains.

We had a very enjoyable stay during the Xmas period. We have stayed in Clear View before and really liked it. It was cooler then we expected which was good, but a little too cold & windy to enjoy the balcony fully. The house is very well equipped, roomy, clean, & tidy.

We had 3 nights for our annual family Christmas in July celebrations. We normally stay in the big cabins but only had a small number able to make it this year so chose Clear View instead. Although the atmosphere was not the same as in the cabins, the house was really lovely and we really liked the set up of the bedrooms/bathrooms. There was plenty of room for everyone, the verandah is great, the views were lovely and the house was toasty warm once the fire was going. We were a bit concerned about being so close to the main road but it wasn't a problem. It is a pity that people feed the birds because we had a persistent kookaburra which made it difficult to take full advantage of the verandah as it kept swooping and trying to steal food which was a bit frightening at times. On the upside of that though, I was able to get some fantastic photos of it because it was so quiet. We had a great time and would book this house again.

Our family, spanning three generations aged from 4 to 70s, all had a wonderful four-day stay here in late June. The house was perfect, views superb, staff at the accommodation centre and nearby cafe were all friendly and helpful and we all loved the wildlife sharing the grounds of our house. Despite the overcast skies and sometimes wet weather we even got to enjoy some spectacular stargazing and one of the many walks nearby. Will be back again!
