Lovely, well stocked house, plenty of everything in the kitchen. Couldn’t find anything that we didn’t need.

It has a very beautiful view, and we enjoyed just sitting there all day watching the view and listening to birds chirping. It’s such a peaceful place and we would be happy to come again.

Absolutely beautiful house, perfect location, perfect for small group of friends or family. Self contained kitchen, fire place is sooo warm and cosy. A really comfortable and clean place to stay

Lovely 3 nights stay, the house was nice, location was perfect, weather was ideal, so it was easy to enjoy each moment and soak up the experience.

We have been coming to the Bunya Mountains every year since 2004 and Bunya Paradise is one of our favourite houses to stay in. However, as I mentioned to your office staff when I left, the fireplace needs to be replaced (or repaired?). The door seal is ineffective, the glass front has 2 gaps which constantly let in air and the air intake lever moves a little but has no effect on closing or opening the air inlet vent. These problems mean it can not be turned down to slow combustion and consequently burns much more wood than should be necessary. On top of all this the top plate in the fire box has fallen down making it difficult to put in anything other than smaller pieces of wood, which obviously burn more quickly. Perhaps you could point out to the owner that his firewood costs could be reduced significantly if he installs a modern effective wood heater.

We had a really good time at Bunya Paradise, and the view from the accommodation was fantastic. It was well spaced, tidy and quiet. There wasn’t enough gas so we had to stop cooking bbq half way through, and the office was closed already. We found later on that gas wasn’t guaranteed and we had to check ourselves. It would be good if someone can check gas level before visitors check in. Another tiny thing that I would suggest: there was no dish washing sponge. Instead, a small scourer pad without sponge was provided, which made us use more dishwashing liquid. Overall, it was excellent.

Beautiful views, well equipped, lovely fireplace, quiet location, beds not the most comfortable.

This house was well equipped and very comfortable. We have stayed here several times and would definitely stay again.

We spent the most wonderful 4 days for Christmas at the incredibly picturesque Bunya Paradise. It had everything we need for 8 people to thoroughly enjoy ourselves and cook a fabulous Christmas/Boxing Day lunch. The views of the National park were truly spectacular and we were overwhelmed when we opened the front door to see the views and magnificent birdlife, what a special place!
Lynn Cooper
As always Bunya Mts doesn’t disappoint. The wildlife, walks, scenery are spectacular. Feeding the birds that visit your accommodation, with appropriate birdseed is a joy and the wallabies that bounce around through the beautiful greenery add to the experience.

We all absolutely loved our stay at Bunya Paradise. The cabin was spotlessly clean, looked like it had been recently painted. The kitchen was well appointed with all the pots and pans you could ever need, loved the electric fry pan and dishwasher. The bedrooms were very spacious with beautiful doonas and electric blankets. The layout was great for our family of 6, grandparents on the main floor and the rest of us upstairs. The mezzanine was well stocked with puzzles and games. But best of all was the view from the verandah and lounge sitting by the fire. The view was endless and it was so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Great house and location. Plenty of space and well presented. Toaster wasn’t working. Otherwise very pleasant stay.

A brilliant 3 days in the mountains enshrouded in mist, clouds, intermittent rain, strong scary winds on the first night and not a single appearance by the sun. This is the Bunya Mountains and I love it!

I have stayed at this and other houses many times. I love the Bunya Mountains even though for the whole 3 days the sun did not make an appearance, just mist, clouds, rain and wind. Very atmospheric.

We had a lovely stay at Bunya Paradise, great open plan layout and lovely location tucked away at the top of the estate on the hill. Very peaceful. The verandah was particularly lovely, situated at the back of the house, overlooking the hills, with lovely views of the sunset. The birds also seemed to love visiting on the verandah which was a special treat. Lots of kitchen utensils, pots and plates were supplied, which was also very helpful and appreciated. Plenty of quilts for the chilly winter nights were also very handy. Thank you for having us!
Ken Ohlsson
We stayed for 3 days. The first 4 hours were beautiful cool and sunny with a brilliant sunset. Then a fierce howling wind brought clouds and mist to the mountains which continued for the rest of our stay with rain from day 2 as well. I didn't mind as it is such a great house for these conditions and I had a mystical 8 km walk in the forest all to myself with the tops of the tall ancient trees lost in the clouds.
Lianda Bacon
Had a wonderful stay. with exquisite views, comfortable warm beds, a great fire. Loved the wildlife. A very peaceful enjoyable stay.
Chaminda Ratnayake
We love this place and this was the second time we stayed in this house. It got a nice balcony at the back positioning towards the rain forest with a great views. Kids love feeding wild parrots in the balcony keeping them entertained all the time. Log fireplace and the separate kids friendly living area in the first floor were amazing. Good size kitchen and bedrooms. Overall we are very happy with the stay and we would like to comeback.
Tyson Waghorn
Very nice house with a really great view. absolute peace and quite the whole time. loved it!
Mary Seefried
Beautiful view and very comfortable. Would definitely go again. The front deck was spacious and pity it was rainy as we would have loved to eat out there.
Rosemarie Van Eck
Myself and my 2 friends really enjoyed our stay at Bunya Paradise the bed were very comfortable and we all remarked on how well we slept, I love all the bush walks and the friendly birds who greeted us on our veranda every day. I would liked for the house to have had a pair of Dinocolars to see the view, but we really enjoyed our stay.

Love this house, great quiet location, nice views. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, second living area upstairs, 2 1/2 baths which is a bonus. Our second Xmas spent in this house, we will be back.
Arina Dara
Beautiful house overall. Great view of the outside. However, the house was not as clean as I'd expected. The views couldn't be enjoyed as the sliding door windows were not clean. There were two dead mice found in the house upon our arrival. Lots of very visible and large cobwebs. There was also just a single grape on the floor of the kitchen... General dust everywhere especially the wardrobes. I understand that bugs and mice are part of the environment of Bunya Mountains but the house felt like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time. I will be staying at Bunya again, but not this house.
Michelle Thomas
Loved our stay beautiful view Had lovely time Poppys café beautiful food And cafe/tavern great too

Check in was easy, collecting key and information from office. Drove up private road to nearly the end where house was situated. Wonderful views and so peaceful. Unpacked and settled in for some relaxing. Bed was comfortable, wonderful fireplace with plenty of firewood but a bit big could have had some smaller pieces. House had everything you needed for a longer stay. Only thing not the best was the kitchen it needs a bit of updating. In the morning on the balcony some beautiful birds greeted us. The very best thing was looking at the night sky from the driveway.
Ken Ohlsson
Perfect weather for yet another few days in this beautiful sunny house. And, of course, long walks in the magnificent primeval forest.
Madonna Maher
Bunya Paradise is a no frills house but it has all you need. The kitchen is small but workable. There was no cupboard left empty to store food though. The loft was a lovely retreat for our young adults. Electric blankets on all beds and warm doonas. Bar heaters on the wall of both bathrooms. Comfy couches. Lovely view of the valley from the deck. One of the easiest houses to access when unpacking that we have stayed in at the Bunyas. It is quite exposed being on the ridge so you get the force of any wind which can be quite noisy.

The view and privacy at this house were wonderful & general configuration of the house was good. The interior furniture was dated and generally poorly decorated, windows dirty and the kitchen floor has no proper surface. Pullout bed upstairs very uncomfortable. Upstairs one bedroom very dusty. Interior doors need lubricating, noisy to close. Both showers were very difficult to operate due to stiff knobs. Kitchen equipment was sub-standard eg: broken leg on the electric frying pan, no large pot at all for an 8 bedder house, broken scissors, too few breadboards & poorly matched crockery.
susan jorgensen
View was spectacular from the deck. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is very small and impractical (appears to be in the process of renovation?) but we managed. The house could do with a superficial make-over. All said and done, though, it was a great time!
Barry Malone
Excellent location. Very quiet and great views. House has good facilities and very comfortable. Would certainly go back again.
Leah Burns
A peaceful and tranquil setting with stunning views over the valley. The house is getting a little tired and the upstairs sofa bed is not suitable to sleep on - even for a child.
Margaret Buckley
Bunya Paradise - 28-30 August 2023. Our stay at Bunya Paradise in late August 2023 was wonderful. The peace and quiet, the fresh air, the views and the scenery were amazing. We loved seeing the wildlife everywhere including the kangaroos and wallabies and the incredible birds that would land on the balcony. We also felt safe in the area with the security gate. It would be nice to see a few things in the house updated, replaced or repaired but regardless, we loved our stay, thoroughly recommend a stay there and are hoping to return some time in the not too distant future.
Robert Blight
Nice quiet place with good view. Veranda requires maintenance - nails protruding. Locks are required - for the screen door entry to the garage and - the garage door.
Malcolm af Uhr
Great house, quiet location being at the end of the estate. New appliances in the kitchen and laundry, great breezes in summer and fully screened. Third stay in the house, we will be back!
Wendy Edgar
Renovations are great. Very comfortable stay. Loved everything except the wood pile needs to be under the deck or covered outside at least. Well done to the owners but just the firewood wood issue???

"We visited Bunya Paradise last weekend and had an amazing stay. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was welcoming and serene, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy home away from home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, with attentive service and local recommendations that enhanced our experience. The surrounding area, with its natural beauty, offered plenty of activities and sights to explore. Overall, our time at Bunya Paradise was truly exceptional, and we look forward to returning in the near future."

our stay at the bunyas was so relaxing and peaceful would have no problem recommending this place to everyone the staff were awesome and helpful the views were to die for. The food at the restaurant and cafe was lovely and fresh could not fault.we will come back again
Rosalee McNeil
Can't fault the views. Nice having the mezzanine area for the kids to play in, but would have been good to have a selection of videos for them as the weather was too wild to venture outside. Lovely ambiance having the fire going and warmed the place well.
Karen Lester
Absolutely love the quiet location of the house and the views. The house was clean and tidy although it needs a bit of TLC. We stayed there 22 years ago also. Bunya Mountains is a favourite getaway destination.
Graeme Schuller
This house has the best view of the bunya forest on the mountain. The bird and animal life is exceptional. Beautiful big airy verandah.
Cal Webb
Perfect stay at Bunya Paradise. Wonderfully private being last house on the road, and stunning views from the lovely balcony. Bunya Mtns a truly excellent place to visit. Miles from anywhere but still with great cafe at Poppies plus the tavern over the road. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The house is spacious, clean with great view of the mountains. Various birds visit the large balcony and wallabies hop around the garden.
Liza Gray
It was below average.

The perfect spot to get away from it all. We loved the peaceful location of Bunya Paradise, and the views and wildlife were fabulous. The house is well equipped and worked well for a family of 4. We would definitely recommend a stay at Bunya Paradise.

Easy check in & out. Great quiet location surrounded with birds and wallabies. Good pile of wood for the woodburner. Inbuilt vacuum system was good. Wish I had known that a bathmat should have been included in the linens that I brought with me. Also dishwashing tablets and additional bin liners should be included in the property.
Kevin Vodden
We thoroughly enjoyed our four days at Bunya Paradise. The house was spacious, clean and well-equipped, and was in the perfect location for us at the far end of the road with an excellent view of the surrounding scenery. We'll certainly be back, and Bunya Paradise will be at the top of our search list.
Karen Jenkin
What a wonderful experience! The house was well appointed with a large balcony to enjoy the valley view and friendly birds. It was a peaceful stay (which is what we wanted) with good cafe facilities nearby and great walking tracks in the mountains to enjoy. The accommodation staff were great too. We’ll be back!
Patrick Carmody
We enjoyed our stay at Bunya Paradise The house was comfortable and included all appliances necessary, and well stocked with all kitchen accoutrements This was not our first visit to Bunya Mountains and we enjoyed the National Park walks etc, as well as the wildlife around the accommodation precinct. I'm Sure we will return Patrick & Gaye

Bunya Paradise is the 4th property we have had the pleasure to stay in at the Bunyas. We have never been disappointed. Previous properties were hugged by rainforest, Bunya Paradise is more exposed but rewards with great views even as soon as you open the front door, especially from the expansive wine o'clock deck! (reward for those great Bunya walks!) Everything you need to self cater, comfy beds & lounge furniture, ideal to share with 3 couples or extended family. Love it, love it!
Carol Joblin
this was our 2nd stay. This house is very comfortable. Only critisism is that the fire wood pile is too far down the bank. Quite an effort for someone not so young. A stand also up on the deck to stack the wood would be ideal. We do look forward to our next holiday at Bunya Mountains.
Linda Ruedinger
Wonderful views, fantastic covered back deck. Everything you could want for a winter escape
Debbie Guy
We had a lovely 3 night stay at Bunya Paradise. Although the house is a bit tired in some respects we did enjoy our stay. The view from the enormous balcony were amazing when we weren't in the clouds. The house is comfortable with all you need. Remember to take a hair dryer though.
Paul Marschke
We were pretty happy with the stay. Beds were great and warm. Kitchen appliances, cookware & cutlery were adequate for the four of us. Seating was comfortable for 4 people. We had plenty of wood for our stay and the firebox worked well. Contactless checkin for key collection and drop off worked perfectly. Would be happy to stay there again.

The property is located beautifully at the edge of the ridge, amazing views. The property is spacious, but although the kitchen lovely and well equipped, it is a little awkward with the stove at the end. Three toilets are a bonus, when there is a full house. It was lovely that there was some reading materials provided and games and puzzles.
Lachlan McIntosh
Great quite and private location to spend Xmas with the family especially the grand children
Janet Luck
We had a lovely weekend enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountain!
Amran Arief
Bunya Paradise have great view, but rarely have wallabies around it. I love it still. Excellent relaxing time with the family. Looking forward to coming back but unsure what the temperature will be like in summer especially that most of the properties don't have AC. Spring and autumn might be the best time
Tristan Sippel
Great place to stay awesome views and wild life
Linda Ruedinger
Bunya Paradise is an amazing house where you can totally absorb and enjoy what the Bunya mountains have to offer. The house is cosy and fully equipped with all you need, the large verandah it's biggest drawcard. A covered area where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun and feed the birds. Fantastic!!!
Jenny Bradshaw
We had a delightful stay at Bunya Paradise! The slow combustion stove worked particularly well and warmed us on the chilly early morns and cold nights of our time there! I relaxed so much I even got to almost complete the Lighthouse puzzle, a satisfaction a busy mother doesn't often get... Our beds were comfortable, and the view was expansive; breathtakingly beautiful, especially at sunrise.

Comfortable and spacious cabin with a large verandah on a north eastern ridge with views out to Tarong and Kumbia. Lots of currawongs and wallabies.
Charles Toms
Hi, We had to leave early so could not talk to reception before leaving. The villa was nice however there are several issues that we think need to be addressed. The upstairs toilet has leaking water on the floor. The upstairs TV does not work. The condition of the kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery was poor. We had to clean everything before use. This is aggravated by excess stuff in the drawers. Outside walls need to be cleaned, covered in spiderwebs etc.
Janet Sissman
This is a very nice house in a very good location. We have stayed in this house previously and raised a few issues regarding maintenance and kitchen equipment. We're pleased to say that these have been rectified - everything in good working order and sufficient kitchen equipment has been provided. Only issue this time - a few cockroaches scurrying about the kitchen!
Paula Af Uhr
Great house, nice views, great breezes in summer. Will be back!

As always , after many trips to Bunya Paradise we mostly enjoyed our stay but with reservations. When we arrived the first thing we noticed is how dirty the dining table was. I cleaned it with a paper towel which finished up black and brown from the dirt/dust. My biggest complaint was the BarBQ which now represents a safety hazard as one of the Gas knobs won't turn off. It is VERY OLD and not worthy of Bunya Paradise. There is also no grill as it is 100% plate . One may as well cook in a fry pan. If the owner can afford all those solar panels he can surely buy a new BarBQ . Right now the only way to turn it off completely is to shut off the gas bottle. If someone doesn't know this then gas could accumulate and explode.
