Long weekend at the Bunya Mountains with the family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the gang and a nice big kitchen. Loved the wood fire that kept the whole house warm and the electric blankets on each bed. Close to the shop and house was well stocked with utensils. Would recommend Bunya Haven to a big group.

We have just spent the most fabulous long weekend at the Bunya Mountains staying at the lovely Bunya Haven. It was a clean, inviting place that met all the needs of our little family get together of 8 adults and 3 children. The service at the little store was good and the hot chocolates at Poppy’s Cafe got a thumbs up. Our grandchildren loved seeing the wallabies and birds, as well as the bush walks. We have been singing the Bunyas praises to everyone since our return home. We will certainly visit again.

Well set up and nicely presented house. Short walk to coffee shop, tavern and walking trails. Great wood fire for chilly days. Verandah with BBQ and back area with fireplace and seating to enjoy the friendly visiting wallabies and birds.

Great location and rooms and ensuites. Kitchen cupboards and items probably time they were sorted 😊. Vehicular Rear access to ramp was cut off. So if booking because it has ramp access you’d be disappointed. Had everything required.

We had a wonderful time, celebrating my husbands 60th birthday with family. The grandchildren were amazed with the wildlife. The scenery and the walks kept the adults busy. We had a really great night at the Bistro, great food and service. Will be back!

The kitchen was very well equipped. It had everything we needed and more. The unit was clean and tidy. The bedroom set up is brilliant. It was the perfect accommodation my family, plus my sister and brother. One of the lights in the kitchen needs to be replaced. It would be great if the stairs had a safety gate. Our 20 month old need constant supervision to be kept away from them. Its a lovely place to stay. We hope to return next year.

We really enjoyed our stay and we found the accommodation quite comfortable and it fit all our needs. We were disappointed when the gas bottle for the BBQ ran out of gas straight away whilst cooking dinner. It was too late to go and exchange at this point in time, with young children and the rest of the dinner cooking in the oven. We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the property, which really let it down.

We had an amazing time in the Bunya Mountains. So many beautiful nature walks and wildlife. We saw hundreds of birds, wallabies, goannas and an antechinus. The Bunya Haven is a great locations overlooking the rainforest and very short walk to the coffee shops, restaurant and general store. We tried the Bunya Nut scones and even did some whiskey tasting. Night time was so quiet. We were unlucky with the weather for star gazing but honestly, we were so exhausted.

Absolutely wonderful stay. House was lovely, clean and well stocked with ample cutlery/crockery to cater for the number of people in the house. Nicely located close to the tavern and walking tracks but peaceful enough to feel like we were all alone.

We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at Bunya Haven. The house offered much more than what I expected. The rooms were big, the beds comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all kinds of appliances, utensils, pots and pans to cook up a storm. The table in the dining room is the perfect size to fit comfortably 10 people. From the description I was under the impression that soup and shampoo were not provided, but all three bathrooms were socked with cleaning products and toilet paper. We were 3 families and each to have a separate bathroom was a treat. Overall, great accommodation.

This fabulous home in the Bunya's was perfect for us. Having 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms made the difference for a friends weekend catch up. It was warm and welcoming, clean, great access to walks, Mt Biking, and the shops with out the hassle of keys for the locked estates. We will be back to stay.

This property is spacious and has the enormous advantage of 3 bathrooms. Whilst there are no panoramic views the huge advantage is the location .... a quick walk to store,Tavern and Poppies coffee short and also the start of 2 of the most popular walks .

Bunya Haven proved to be just perfect for our group of five mature singles. Plenty of space, clean and all the bits and pieces we required in the kitchen. Bunya Mountains and all the walks are incredibly beautiful. We were treated to perfect weather too - cold, brisk mornings but clear and sunny all day every day. Log fire kept the house warm and it was wonderful to have all the firewood needed to last for the duration of our stay. Would love to visit again to do the walks not done this time.

When I rang to make my enquiry, Jenepher was very polite and helpful. The lady I spoke to Friday evening was also very helpful (we were running terribly late due to the thunderstorms and flooding) providing great directions for us. Bunya Haven was clean and well stocked. We found everything we needed for a great weekend. Problems with the water pump were rectified quickly.

Pleasant house, large, clean and comfortable and within walking distance of cafes and the start of most of the walks. Only problem was the fridge which needs repair or replacement. Notes on this are with the Accomodation Office. We had a great holiday!

My husband and I stayed here with two of our sons a daughter in law and the grandchildren. There was plenty of room for us all and the upstairs TV and DVD was a blessing. It was a cold weekend but the fire kept us cozy. The first night the water pressure was a bit dodgy which led to one of the upstairs loos blocking, however there were two more so all was well. There are plenty of useful items in the kitchen and nothing has been overlooked. The children enjoyed the wildlife, the bird feeding and the horse and buggy rides. It was certainly a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
