Boobook sits on a large private block on a plateau within a locked gate estate, with the boobook owls calling outside your bedroom window. Two bedrooms sleep up to four on one level, with a fully screened verandah for insect-free evenings, a log fire and all linen supplied.

Minimum Stays:

  • 3 nights on Long Weekends from Friday- Monday
  • 4 nights Easter and Christmas (no arrivals or departures Christmas day, Boxing day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday)
  • 3 nights minimum during June/July School Holidays

A credit card hold of $200 is required upon arrival for pre authorization bond for this property.

Lovely house, the screened verandah are good idea, it suited 3 very well, we want to stay there again. The inclusion of linen and towels is a great idea. Easy walking distance from the house to the shop etc. We love the Bunyas and have stayed in many houses.

This was our second stay at “Boobook”and our fourth overall in the Bunyas - and we loved and enjoyed each occasion. “Boobook” is certainly our favourite and definitely a home away from home- it has all the “modcons” that one could possibly want with our favourite being the combustion heater with plenty of timber to last the duration of the stay (and more). We also enjoy the added security of being able to reside in a locked gate estate. We love bush walking and “Boobook” is ideally situated close to many of the walks. Would we come back and stay a third time? you bet we will. From the office staff to the accommodation to the surrounds - it’s all “Tops “
