Overall, our stay was excellent. The house was perfect for our needs and the views simply stunning. However, there are aspects of house that do need attention, as they are looking a little "tired" e.g. some carpets and the wood railings etc. But, overall, we were happy.

A wonderfully private house up in the tree canopy and clouds. A great house for a larger group providing enough space and privacy for everyone. The views from Arcadia Heights are some of the best on the mountain.

We had a lovely stay in this chalet. Loved the layout as all bedrooms had privacy from each other. Amazing fireplace- great atmosphere and kept us warm. Would stay again!

What a treat! Our "Gang of 8" had a magical stay at Bunya Mountains. We walked, we talked, we ate, we appreciated the cheeky possums and the gorgeous parrots. Arcadia Heights was the perfect accommodation, big enough so that everyone had their own "space" but cosy enough to feel at home. We will return!

We enjoyed our stay but there are some things that need attention. The carpets could do with being replaced as they are very very dirty and worn out. We also found that there were a lot of lights not working. Also the remote for the DVD player had batteries missing.

The house has space for 12 people. Sunroom was wonderful, and the view was stunning. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool room. The attic was a great place for the kids to stay. Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean and tidy. Fireplace was wonderful too. However, the room in the basement should be better prepared. In this room ventilation was not sufficient and it was quite stuffy. Staying in the room caused breathing difficulties so we couldn't use this room properly for sleeping.

Intriguing house with gorgeous views and amazing birdlife and wallabies everywhere. The stars from the loft bedroom are wonderful. Very comfortable and homely - lots of nooks and places for people to gather. With the fire going, warm even on a very cold winter's day. Comfortable beds and good hot showers. Don't forget your bath mats! Extremely well-equipped kitchen, missing only a coffee machine. Seamless check-in. Thoroughly recommend, though be prepared for not wanting to leave...

The house itself is lovely and has many separate areas so it is easy to find a quiet spot to relax. The outdoor dining area seated the 10 of us which was great. Sadly, it is now quite dated and the carpet badly needs replacing as it is filthy and has many burn marks near the fireplace. The cleaning had not been done particularly well. Most of the kitchen drawers and kitchen utensils were dirty and should have been replaced. One of the drawers in the kitchen was broken. There were plenty of kitchen appliances, including an electric handmixer, rice cooker, microwave, coffee plungers, etc. The bathrooms are dated and the showerheads need replacing in all bathrooms as they either leak or spray water everywhere. All in all, the house was all that we needed and was large and comfortable.

We had a lovely long weekend in Arcadia Heights with our extended family (9 people). It was a lovely house with lots of space and seating areas. Loved feeding the birds the wild bird seed on the balcony, they were so friendly. Nothing to complain about, great stay. We will be coming back next year.

Great house, great views (aside from the coal fired power station in the valley). Would fit a couple of families with lots of space to get away from each other. If you're hiring sheets, note that they do include towels even though it doesn't say it includes towels and they also say to bring towels. Would have saved us a lot of packing.

The house was nice and clean internally with plenty of room for our family of 9. The grounds could do with a bit of maintenance and tidy up. The pool table kept our family amused for quite a while which was appreciated. Plenty of crockery/cutlery, cooking utensils and pots, pans, etc. Plenty of timber to keep the fire going with the cold days and nights we had.

We really loved our stay. The owners of the the property have thought of everything to make the holiday enjoyable and easy. There was plenty of hot water for everyone to use and wash dishes etc... We loved the pool table, games and exploring the yard was so much fun too. We can't wait to return.

The property was very comfortable for 3 couples. Plenty of space and of course the fireplace was the key attraction. We enjoyed the sunrooms as it was quite windy so we were able to enjoy the sun inside. We also enjoyed playing games on the lawn and had a lot of fun.

Love the "idea" of the house, but definitely not in summer again. Tired and lacking cooling and ventilation in the top section which made the stay for my children uncomfortable. I do love staying at the Bunyas, but will leave Arcadia Heights for the winter months perhaps.

Beautiful huge home that held 9 of us comfortably for our retreat away. King parrots, rosellas, Currawongs and cockatoos visited us daily on the main deck. Bush turkey on the boardwalk deck was a bit of a character :) Mum and bub possums visited as the night time came. Supplied with everything you need for cooking. We had a nice fire as the rain set in for most of our time there. A beautiful stay with some beautiful people.

A wonderfully relaxing spot just meant for our big family get together. The multi storey house with a pool table and log fire was a big hit. The garden was just great for our grandies to go and investigate. And had a flat piece that was perfect for French cricket. The only negative was that the carpet looked as though it could do with a good clean.

We've been staying in houses at the Bunyas for 30 years but this was our first stay in Arcadia Heights. It's a huge house, with three bathrooms, which is what we wanted for our group. There are lots of closed-in sunrooms and spaces to chill out. The downstairs bedroom is pretty cold in winter, but the rest are good. Having said that, the downstairs would be great in warmer months. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This house is always great, it's the reason why we keep coming back. There are a few things that need attention that are the pool table, the side cushions have gone hard with no bounce. Side verandah has a lot of wood rot in the floor and hand rails.

This is my second time staying at Arcadia heights and in several years, nothing has changed ( not in a good way). Stained carpets, peeling back around the fire place leaving exposed nails. I didn’t feel safe letting my kids crawl on the floor. Clumps and clumps of dust that looks to be several years old- and in easy to clean places like window sills. Upstairs bedroom door doesn’t close. Most of the blinds broken. One shower looked to have moss growing. A kettle that doesn’t open from rust. Mouldy cutting boards. I wont be staying here again- which is a shame since it has wonderful views and a great size for big families, just wish it was maintained.

Recently stayed with a group of friends. Great area and lots of room to move within the house. The photos of the house are a little dated but was still good for what I needed. The balcony could do with some repairs / upgrade. Didn't venture into the yard, but looked good from the verandah. Heaps of utensils and kitchen equipment which was great. Good that it had two fridges. Bathrooms were good. Heaps of parking ( I had 12 people staying so multiple cars) only thing would be accessing the gates, potentially look at a lock box or swipe. However, if you time it right, other people let u in and out. Very relaxing weekend and will be back.

Arcadia Heights is an awesome, private beautiful home, with wonderful views. We felt like we were in a luxury tree house in the midst of the forest surrounded by trees the sky and many birds. Take bird feed with you as there are bird feeders that the birds come to regularly. The house was in need of a spring clean, but the beauty and tranquillity of the location and the houses many special nooks and crannies, sure made up for it. The washing machine and dryer were excellent, the kitchen was very user friendly and had everything we needed. The three toilets and three bathrooms were very convenient for twelve people. Loved our stay!

We recently stayed at Arcadia Heights whilst our stay was pleasant at the Bunya Mountains! the property it very much lacking and needing needing a good amount of TLC/Cleaning, upon entry the house was very musty smelly and damp, also the smoke alarms were continuously going off and we had to have maintenance come and rectify the issue. The bedroom located on the bottom floor was terrible and would feel sorry for anyone having to sleep down there, the smell was coming up the stairs. we were lucky that we didn’t have anyone needing to use this room. The carpets were mouldy and falling apart with stains all through them, the top floor as no air conditioner or ceiling fans the walls were grumpy and had marks all over them, their was a massive burn stain on the top level carpet also. The skirting boards and window ledges throughout the house done look like they have been touched for years. The lights within the house were very dull and hard to see at night with, when it rained the water would drip down inside and you can tell this has been happening for some time due to the wood rot. The lino floors in the kitchen had years on build up on the between the cracks, my mum started to clean some parts and the difference was horrendous. We did love the balconies to feed the birds and possums that would visit! We loved the Bunya’s and will definitely be back, but at a different property.

Date of booking - Wednesday 27th March. Checkout Sunday 31st March. We stayed at Arcadia Heights. It was such an interesting and well planned house. The setting was lovely in the gully with views out to Nanango. Even though the weather was wet, there was plenty of room for everyone to settle and never feel bored or cramped. We only used three bedrooms. The top floor and ground floor near the garage entrance were very comfortable with all amenities that you could wish. The lower level bedroom was very comfortable and my friend enjoyed it although it was a bit musky and she felt it needed more ventilation. The house was well equipped and thoughtful inclusions added (wild bird seed mix) Even though it was an older home, it definitely had much more 'love' and 'atmosphere' to share. As regulars, we enjoy staying at different houses, but we would be very happy to rent this one again.

Our stay was amazing from 19th to 22nd March. Arcadia Heights is beautiful design home for a group to enjoy each others company and to have their own space. The pool room was popular with the boys, while the cane sun room (as we called it) was great for the card games. The variety of wild life was amazing and as we had bird seed the possums at night also enjoyed this. The views were excellent to the east on the out door patio and we were able to see the Supermoon rising on Thursday 21st . The walks of the Bunya Mts were close and each morning we would go wandering and enjoyed the beauty of the forest.. I would highly recommend Arcardia Heights for its tranquillity and beauty of the bush. If you are bird lover this is a excellent place to sight a huge variety.

Lovely setting. Great house. However...so many external doors...so many keys to use...any chance of colour coding..it would save much frustration 😉

Everything was great , plenty of room to relax. the only issue was the small BBQ for feeding 10 people
