This is an incredible house. The two downstairs master suites are beautiful with massive well appointed bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms are very generous, with a lovely shared bathroom also. The pool table is always a welcome addition to gather. Lovely kitchen, large space, quite spot at the end of the street. We've been coming to the Bunyas for 20 years, and this is our favourite house so far. A+

Overall the property was great however, there were a few things that could improve. The front door lock was difficult to open, extremely large amounts of ants in the pantry and we had to throw away a lot of our stored foods and the bedroom upstairs with two single beds had no curtains on it. All the other facilities and location were excellent.

This property exceeded all our expectations. Fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, comfy beds, beautiful flat lawn perfect for outdoor games, pool table and big open plan house. We loved it and will return as soon as we can. We did 7 of the 10 walks and were memorised by the sheer beauty of the Bunya Forest. Amazing birdlife everywhere. Check in and Check out was easy and well organised.

Araucaria is a beautiful property perfectly suited to relaxing with people you love. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely, and the two living areas mean that it is easy to spread out. Kitchen is well stocked and the back deck is perfect for relaxing and watching the wallabies. I would definitely stay here again!

we all enjoyed Araucaria - a beautiful house. our guests were first time Bunya visitors, and were very impressed. Conversations with Booking staff were great. There was one point that let the side down - the front door key didn't work; we had to trek back to office to get the instruction - keep trying, it eventually works. That is garbage. One - the key/lock should be fixed, and/or the front desk should have a clear instruction for guests when they arrive - not 15 frustrating minutes later.

Well appointed chalet in the hills. 4 couples were well accommodated with nearly everything you could wish for . The games minded accessed the pool table and Foxtel. Ensuites * 2 downstairs were perfect as we had special needs guests. A lovely restful family bonding and retreat

Our stay at Aracauria was great. The house was a good size for 4 couples. We loved the abundance of wildlife in the yard and the ease of walking to the cafe and bistro and walking tracks. However, we did think there were too many warning messages around the home. It would have been nice for there to be some essentials supplied in the home, as the cost of staying was quite expensive. It was very cold on our first night and it would have been nice for the fire to be going on arrival as the house was very cold.

As per previous years, the house was great. Very clean, with lots of amenities. Our only comment is not house specific, but the 2 wild dogs need to be moved on. Apart from clearly having an impact on the number of animals, there are a serious safety concern. There were close by the house on Thursday afternoon. We have been coming to the Bunyas for more than 20 years, with the appeal our young children (and now grandchildren) can roam the estates freely. They cannot do that at the moment.

The house was beautiful and everything was there that we needed. Because it is such open plan living it was very noisey with in the house on the floors walking around . Needed a bigger bar-a que for 8 people . Oven was not very clean. Other wise everything was great.

Perfect house, presented like a show home, could not have asked for more. Brillant design and layout, immaculate and clean, gorgeous bathrooms a bonus with 4 toilets. Exceptionally equipped kitchen. What a wonderful stay we had at Araucaria. From the outside, you would never know the luxury that awaits inside. Everything was provided for and it was spotlessly clean. The back verandah got lots of use as we sat outside having meals and enjoying the beauty of the bunya pines and birdlife. Being at the end of the lane, made for a very peaceful stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the stunning Bunya Mountains. We stayed at the beautiful Araucaria with our two grandchildren, and it was fabulous. Plenty of flat ground for young children to run around and wonderful games to keep them entertained when we weren't outside enjoying nature. The house was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff at bookings, in the cafe and restaurant, couldn't have been more accommodating. 5 stars from us!

The house was exceptionally designed, immaculately presented and in a superb location. The wildlife, scenery and bush walks were great. Could walk to the Tavern for dinner and breakfast. The staff at the accommodation office were lovely and extremely helpful. All up, it was an excellent mini break for our family, and we'll definitely be back.

The house itself was lovely and was extremely well equipped with everything you needed. The little laminated notes on the countertops, stairs, fridge, furniture, ect were a little exasperating. Obviously the owners care about the house but just leave it in the T&Cs you sign at the start. The cleaning crew was below average. We found empty chip packets under the lounge room couch and used birthday candles on the back deck. The overall maintenance of the house needs improvement. Kitchen, bedrooms and living areas had lightbulbs that had blown and needed replacing.

A beautifully appointed spacious home with a lovely outlook to the bush. We loved the stunning kitchen and main living with fireplace and also liked having the second living option upstairs with the pool table. We will definitely stay at Araucaria next time we visit The Bunya’s!

Our second stay at beautiful Araucaria. This time we bought the kids along to discover and experience the Bunya Mountains. The home is well appointed, plenty of space, modern and relaxing. We love the layout of the home, privacy and ambiance. The older kids particularly enjoyed the pool table and upstairs retreat area. We will definitely return to Araucaria again in future.
