Our stay at Ana Pana was very cosy. It felt like someone's home, and the rooms were well laid-out so that - if you were staying there with family, children or friends - everyone would have their own well-separated bedroom space, and two separate lounge/TV areas. The sauna was a fantastic bonus. While Ana Pana did not have the majestic views to the north, it wasn't cloistered in with trees, so it was bright and airy, and it has a nice open view of the little valley. From the warm couches by the fire we could look straight out the many glass doors and see the mist rolling past, watch the sunset on the trees on the far hillside, and all birdlife in the surrounding trees, gardens and balcony rails. Everything was clean, tidy and thoughtfully convenient. This house was great value, and it was a perfect, relaxing getaway for us.

Lovely house with a nice yard full of fruit trees and native trees. Loved the company of the wallabies and birds. The house is quite spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing break in the mountains!

Hi there Staying at Ana Pana and wanting to let you know there was a cracked wine glass when we came. We’ve left it on the kitchen window sill. Also, for feedback there aren't really enough wine glasses or even plates at the house. Some are chipped and if six are staying, you often need serving plates as well as dinner plates. Comments in the visitor book seem to say the same thing but maybe the owners never see the visitors book. Apart from that, we are having a lovely stay.

We have been staying at the Bunya’s For over 26 years. We have stayed at a variety of house’s. With a history of 26 years And many more to come I really don’t have to say anymore

We loved our stay at Ana Pena - was disappointing that the bath tub was not available for use though.
Anitta Kanowski
We had 5 wonderful, good weather days until the day we left. Loved the homey non sterile feel and look of the place with the overgrown garden, unmowed lawn, and the resident wallabies. The sauna was the reason we chose the place and very pleased with having done so. The birds on the railing was a nice touch being able to feed them "at home".

The accommodation, the scenery, the wildlife and weather (including a couple of storms) were all very enjoyable.

The house was cozy, clean and beautiful. Was the perfect getaway, with private and forestry aspects. Great undercover parking and a garage for smaller vehicles. The property is peaceful and quiet, where you make a few wild friends such as the gorgeous colourful parrots and friendly wallabies in the backyard. The sauna is an awesome plus to this property, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking through the Bunya Mountains forest walks. Water pressure is great, and most kitchen utensils and appliances are already provided! Has an amazing big fireplace in the centre of the living area to heat up your stay when it gets cold. Overall a wonderful, humble and cozy house that takes you away from your busy life and allows you to relax.

As always, a lovely relaxing time enjoying the scenery, birds and wallabies. The walks never boring and magnificent night sky. Both starry and stormy.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is OK, the sauna is a highlight. The outlook is so lovely. The fruit in the garden a real delight. Needed improvement: the place was not clean. There were clumps of dust lying about in the main bedroom cupboard and under the bed. The main bathroom had visible dust between the sink and the wall. The wall skirting had a lot of accumulated dust. I understand that windows may be hard to keep good with all the rain but they were really quite dirty .... It would be good to note on the booking add that bath is out of order.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Ana Pana. Very spacious, equipped with all the essentials, comfortable beds, many balconies to choose form and the Sauna was a plus! The property is a little dated and tired looking but it's a great spot only a skip and a jump up the driveway to enjoy the magnificent views up on the ridge.

We has an awesome time. Very relaxing and so beautiful. The house, the birds, the stars and the rainforest sounds were all fantastic. Would definitely do it again.
Jen Silcock
Lovely stay, perfect for a multi-generational holiday. House is well-equipped and homely with a nice self-contained downstairs space and beautiful views over a pine valley and up to a grassy bald from both verandahs. Tucked away back from the road, and near the end of the road, although there is another house very close where the guests partied very loudly until 2am on new years - not so peaceful for us! Other nights were lovely, and we heard sooty owls calling from the valley. Thanks for a very relaxing stay, we'll be back!
Andrea Gehrke
Love coming to the Bunya Mountains every Easter and have been coming for many years. We would however not book this property again.
Cassie Moylan
Ana Pana is a beautiful place to stay.
Vivienne Doogan
The location of Ana Pana is very quiet with views over the rainforest. The design of this pole house makes movement through the central living areas awkward. The lovely fireplace warmed the living areas but the bedrooms, particularly downstairs, remain very cold. Cleaning wasn't as good as it could be. All outdoor areas, windows etc need cleaning.
Karen Brown
We just love the Bunya Mountains. The home was beautiful and private, clean and the view was superb. Sorry to see Wild Dog signs and did notice the decline of the number of wallabies.
Grant Sullivan
The Bunyas is always pleasant, though this time it was dry and lacking in the usual amounts of wildlife
Kay Garwood-Gowers
We had a wonderful stay....perfect weather, fantastic bird life, good service at The Bunyas for an evening meal.

Loved the relaxed environment and variety of wildlife. The wood burning fire was awesome and pumped the heat out. Whilst the lodge was a little tired it was homely and had everything we needed. The sauna was a bonus! Be prepared for a decent walk down to the shops and tavern.
Jodie Marsh
The house was disappointing. It needs a lot of maintenance and general upkeep given what we paid to stay. Most things we needed were there as specified. Whilst the kitchen was adequate it could benefit with some bigger bowls to accomodate 4 adults making salads etc. During the two nights stay someone arrived at around 0630 on the Sunday morning to unload a ute full of firewood. This was not ok in our opinion.
Nicola Speight
Nice size house for a small family with a great mandarin tree out front! On the shady side of the valley so the house is freezing but there's a fireplace
Ron Kollar
Really enjoyed the 5 nights' stay. Very comfortable house with great facilities. Fireplace made the cold temps comfortable - nothing beats a wood fire! We found a couple of minor cleaning issues with the house which could be easily fixed.

Lovely home, beautiful views and secluded which was great.
Nick Gask
Veey comfortable property. Loved the main area with the log burner - just the thing to relax in front of after trekking through the forest! Beautiful stained glass window over the front door! We were rather disappointed to find that the bath was "out of action". Would've nice to have a soak and relax our muscles after our walks. The bedroom and attached bathroom were a little cold but we dragged the portable heater upstairs, set it up in the bathroom and it warmed both rooms nicely ( A tip for future guests). Wood supply was adequate for our needs but would've preferred an axe to a splitter. Had a lovely meal at the Tavern and grest breakfast and snacks at Poppies.
John Moran
A very nice stay at Ana Pana. A cosy villa with a good fire - very welcome in winter. It was comfortable staying there and the kitchen was well-equipped. The sauna was also very good downstairs. We liked the design and tranquility of this villa.
Bronwyn Joyce
We had a pleasant stay at Ana Pana. The house needs a little TLC. We come up to the Bunya Mountains to enjoy the cold weather and the fireplace and we have stayed in many houses on the mountain over the last 20 years and always enjoy the time spent.
Katie Rayner
We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Ana Pana, it was my first stay on the mountains and it was truly gorgeous. The house was a little dated but catered to all our needs. We would definitely stay again. The Sauna was an awesome addition to the house, we made good use of it.
Kevin Vodden
This is a wonderful location, and the elevated position of Ana Pana is the best we've come across for bird watching and night sky viewing in our four visits to the Bunya Mountains.
Keryn Jones
The place is reasonably comfortable but run down, rough around the edges and not very clean. Cobwebs, dust, grime, marked bedding etc. The house is very poorly designed with 1 bedroom a long way from the bathrooms. But, it was cheap, and nice enough location so if you're on a budget in the Bunyas, not too bad.
Mark C
Lovely stay as always! Older place but it's as advertised. Great view, private vibes.
Alan Kennedy
This home needs some love & attention both inside & out. In the main bedroom the cupboards are littered with rat poo! Bed’s comfortable, no instructions how to get the TV working. Door tracks full of dirt and animal poo on the deck. Looked like the bedrooms hadn’t been vacuumed for a long time- a good clean throughout would make a positive outcome. Lawns needed mowing & it’s obvious no one knows what a whipper snipper is.
Navdeep Gill
Nice place with a number of amenities
Michelle Kerr
A beautiful quiet spot and a spacious home with everything we needed. Just what was needed to rest, relax and unwind.
Martin Sassenberg
Cosy place with enough fire wood for cool nights
Glenn Hoffmann
A great place for a holiday with the Tavern and coffee shops being well run and a pleasure to visit. Unfortunately, Ana Pana, where we stayed is in need of significant t.l.c. It is an ageing property which has been neglected by the owners.
Chelsea Raffin
The house was incredible! Probably my favourite so far. Loved how tucked away and private the home is and the views are amazing! Will definitely book Ana Pana for my next visit!
Zea Eagle
Lovely spacious home with everything you need. The log fire was wonderful!
Alexandra Grove
Ourselves and another couple spent three nights in Ana Pana in mid September. We found it to be a very comfortable place to stay. Our bed was good, firm, and perfect after a day of walking. As was the electric blanket. The kitchen was well equipped with a variety of equipment. We took our own frying pan and kitchen knives which proved to be useful. Some of the furnishings are a somewhat dated and tired but but still comfortable. It is perfect for two couples as you can each have a bathroom, one on the top level and the other on the lower level. We enjoyed our stay at Ana Pana. It is well set up, quiet and comfortable.
Natasha Gearailt
beautiful accommodation with all provided. Nice location and easy to get to. Fire and sauna was lovely
Sue Turner
The downstairs bedroom and lounge room was freezing cold with no heating whatsoever it was not ideal in the middle of winter.
Tania Civico
Place was beautiful and no major issues. It was a little dirty though and requires a deep clean. Had rat droppings in cupboards, soot and dust in corners, cockroaches in drawers and oven unclean. There was also a very limited amount of firewood provided and what was left were the very large pieces. There was a blunt anvil but no axe supplied. We could have brought one however, we were told there would be one available. Driving by other houses; they had surplus amounts of wood stored under the houses with axes and more chopped but we had very little left out in the rain.
Debbie Smart
Fantastic place nice and relaxing..we will be back!
Bianca Harrison
Great house. Loved the fire place. Comfy beds and nice hot shower. Ticks all the boxes for a relaxing weekend.

This house was very hot in summer, with no ceiling fans or any other kind of fan provided. This house is well laid out, but is showing signs of wear and needs maintenance. Double story layout is very convenient for two couples, or anyone with kids. Private and quiet, just not the prettiest belle at the ball.
Sarah Grealy
The mountains were very relaxing (even in their drought state) and the people warm and welcoming, the wildlife beautiful and plentiful. Ana Pana was very comfortable and had great facilities. We felt immediately at home and felt like we were a million miles from the city.
Ken Fowler
Great property. Very clean and extremely well equipped. We had an excellent three-day stay and can thoroughly recommend both Bunya Mountains and Ana Pana.
Robin Waldie
The bird life here is spectacular. Without stepping if the balcony we spotted over 20 species in 2 days. Also had a visit from a Bunya possum and of course lots of wallabies.
John Rodgers
Family all enjoyed their stay at Anna Pana. Facilities were comfortable & wood heater was an attraction even though temperatures were not the lowest! Locked gate is an impediment especially with multiple vehicles coming & going. We look forward to returning when there has been plenty of rain. An enjoyable weekend and wish we had more time available to stay longer.

Lovely home
joanne haynes
we all enjoyed our stay the only suggestion for the owners, the tv downs stairs you couldn't watch free to air channels unless you moved the tv near bedhead and plugged in coax cable. a longer cable that can be rolled out to use where it should sit would do the job. we used a small cable from the upstairs tv cabinet draw
Susie/Mary Dawson
We loved the decks around this house and open plan living areas. Really there was nothing not to loke
Peter Joiner
Comfortable stay Only issue two adult couples could not sit comfortably and talk facing each other Lounge not very suitable for chatting
