Fabulous place. We enjoyed the pool table, the various movies, games, comfy beds, glorious verandah with terrific views and feathered visitors. We had multiple cars so parking was a bit of an issue but otherwise we loved the place and will be back.

We loved staying at Alpine Lodge and I am sure we will revisit. Our kitchen was very well equipped, the bedrooms had lovely blankets and throws. We were very comfortable. However, our fire didnt seem to radiate heat for some reason. And for the owners info, most of the pool cues weren’t useable, and one guitar had broken strings.

The Bunya Mountains are a truly magical place to get away and unwind. Alpine lodge is perfect for a larger group with the pool table upstairs and a large living area upstairs too. Because of the design, high cathedral ceilings, you'll find that all the heat from the fireplace goes up there. The huge glass windows also generate a lot of heat. This is not somewhere I'd stay during the warmer months but is cosy in winter. There is no A/C or ceiling fans. You're in the mountains, so expect plenty of wildlife.This also includes ants inside and mice, that can be heard scurrying around at night, and droppings in the kitchen so best not to leave any food out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very accommodating. Though we did feel that maintenance was not up to scratch - toilet roll holder in main toilet needs fixing as paper falls off continually, the screen door screening to side deck needs replacing and the screen door to main back deck needs screening replaced also and falls off the tracks every time you open it (was a pain in the neck), the main bed upstairs needs the mattress replaced (very old I would say), many of the bed side lights didn’t work and a couple of fans don’t work either. Have to say with Covid rules the house cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The floors looked like they had been given a lick and a promise, not clean at all. The cupboards I don’t think have ever been wiped over properly, window sills and tracks very dusty. Also pity the king single beds only have single doonas on them, in colder months would barley cover you when in bed. Most pool cues have broken tips and need replacing also. In saying all this we would book this house again as fantastic views and stocked with kitchen utensils/crockery etc very well.

A group of us stayed at Alpine Lodge and found it to be very lovely and cozy, with a beautiful atmosphere. The pool table provided a lot of fun and laughter. We enjoyed putting out the wild bird seed mix and having many different types of birds come to the balcony to eat. The kitchen is very well catered for and the barbecue was great on the deck. We will definitely come back and book Alpine Lodge again in the future

Alpine Lodge is a beautiful quaint log style cabin with great views and a beautiful deck that receives sun all day long! Nice and toasty warm upstairs and all the amenities you need downstairs. Loved the fireplace and the pool table and all guests were comfortable. The service from the Accommodation Centre was really helpful and easy. We had a great time and will be back again!

Cute as pie chalet style lodge with loads of character. We had a fantastic stay and hope to be back again! Just a packing tip - bring some good tweezers as we had a few ticks found amongst the kids.

5th time over about 8 years at this house. As always clean and plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cater for 6 of us. Has a nice log cabin feel with high ceilings wood fire and dozens of visiting birds and wallabies

Alpine Lodge was good fun, although it seriously needed a cleaning as it was covered in dust and cobwebs which proved to be an issue for those with asthma in the group. The location is beautiful and the afternoon fog was amazing.

Alpine Lodge was a great pick for family coming together to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. Having the up stairs area with pool table provided a great space for the young adults to relax while the ‘oldies’ took over the downstairs lounge and deck! Had everything we needed for a lovely weekend and we were very impressed with the hot showers!

A great place to stay. Very comfy and warm. Love the way the wood fire warms the whole place. Great deck to sit on and watch the wildlife. The birds love to fly in for a feed and the possum drop in for an apple or two as well. Easily sleeps our 7 but you could add a few more as well quite comfortably. Pool table provided hours of entertainment. Well worth considering.

We loved our stay at the Bunya Mountains and in the Alpine Lodge! Great views and lots local wildife came to visit! Plenty of warm blankets to help with the winter chill, and the fireplace kept us all very cosy and warm! Nice big fridge and plenty of cooking gear and crockery and the Pool tabel was hit with the teenagers!

The water pump kept going on and off all night even when no tap or toilet had been used. Shame about the massive pieces of fire wood that you couldn't chop or make smaller. Took a extra large bag of kindling, had to use it all as there wasn't enough smaller logs. Other than that wasn't too bad.

Was lovely and peaceful but in need of some TLC outdoor furniture was all rotten and broken and with 8 people in one house and no where to sit becomes a little hard also the pool table was a great hit but all the cues had no tips and table was ripped ! Overall great though 👌

We all had a wonderful time at Alpine Lodge. The kids loved the upstairs area with pool table, piano and playing board games. The log fire was an enjoyable one for everyone. The colonial-style of the building was very attractive. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the outside deck due to rains. Decently clean place.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Bunyas . We were very comfortable staying at Alpine Lodge which was very neatly and cleanly presented on our arrival. Alpine Lodge has excellent amenities - comfortable beds, oven and stove, huge fridge and efficient dishwasher. We enjoyed playing pool, but the highlight was the wildlife that visited us on the expansive deck - possums, king parrots, rosellas, cockatoos to name but a few. We were also entertained by the wallabies, many of whom had joeys in their pouches. We are already planning a return trip.

The alpine lodge was a wonderful place for a weekend away with family, although it rained and we didn’t get to do the bunya trails, we had a great time. The lodge was equipped with heaps of extras that the kids and adults enjoyed. We will be back.

Great house with plenty of room, clean functional kitchen with just about every appliance or utensil you will need, 4 burner bbq with gas, fireplace with plenty of firewood and axe, well set up to cater for kids with pool table, musical instruments, upstairs lounge with tv and dvd player, laundry with washing and drying machines. Just bring food, bed linen and weather-appropriate clothing and have a fantastic time. Absolute fantastic value for money too. We will be back for sure.

Excellent time as always. This was the first time we have stayed at Alpine Lodge there was 8 of us and there was plenty of room for all. Large dining table and pool table so if weather was bad we all got to have a great time. Being in front of the fireplace was just thing to do on the cold afternoons. We shall be back again the accommodation was fantastic. The staff at the office were great as always. Thankyou for an enjoyable stay see you all next time .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alpine Lodge and especially loved having so many birds visit us, from Crimson Rosellas to King Parrots and Cockatoos. Lovely to observe the many wallabies in the grounds below also. The kitchen was very well equipped and the upstairs area was great with books, pool table DVD's, and even an organ and guitars for the musically inclined. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Please pass on our thanks to the Owners for all they supplied. The fireplace proved very useful and we appreciated having so much wood for our use as well. We ventured on a couple of walks but it will be nice when the other walks are reopened to the public. The position of Alpine Lodge was most impressive being in the highest position. We stayed with our friends and we agree that we would all love to revisit this great place again in the near future.

All good, we have stayed there now 3 times and will do so again. Very small point but it would be good if there was a little bit of kindling to get the fire going for the first night - happy to chop it up but on first day we are busy unpacking etc.
