6 adults and 3 kids stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time. Plenty of room for all of us, everyone loved the pool table and we had the fire roaring the entire time. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of space for us to prepare our meals. Loved having the big indoor and outdoor tables. Have the 3 bathrooms was excellent and everyone loved the showers. Having no wifi and limited mobile was a brilliant way to start the school holidays. Staff in the front office were amazing and could not have been more helpful. Also, loved the huge amount of books and games the house had. We loved our stay.

We had a beautiful, family, misty, rainy weekend at Alandra and Aliana and everyone wants to come back. So nice to have a warming fire, to have the larger Alandra lounge area to congregate, play pool, gossip and have combined meals. It was very comfortable and well equipped.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alandra. The house had everything we needed. It was spacious and comfortable. We had our wedding ceremony in the house during our stay. It was incredible. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Even the king parrots came along for the wedding. Magical!

Loved our week staying at Alandra house. This place is amazing!! Very comfortable and has everything you could need with a well equipped kitchen. Big enough for a large family or two without being in each other’s way. Great views from the back veranda and feels very private and cosy.

We had four couples in our group and loved Alandra and our three nights there. Beautifully appointed, well situated, and great mod-cons. My only suggestion would be to put a mirror in the upstairs bedroom with the two beds. We drew the short straw for that room, but were perfectly happy with its comfort and warmth. We very much hope to return to the Mountains again and have been recommending it to family and friends. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Alandra was a fantastic house the rooms were amazing size with perfect views, the layout was great, plenty of wildlife from wallaby’s to the king parrots and the cockatoos, I will be back too this house. highly also recommended the horse rides provided by Allan he does a fantastic tour well worth it.

We loved the place! It's such a great house for a big family to come together, it had all we needed and was a close walk to coffee, the shops and trailheads which suited our young family. We have been coming to the Bunyas for over 20 years now - thanks again for a great stay!

The house was truly amazing, plenty of open space and accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped however, the fridge was way too small. My family had to buy ice during our stay for the esky's in order to keep everything cold. All of the beds were excessively hard, resulting in uncomfortable sleep. Aside from this, my family thoroughly our stay.

We were a group of 5 people, two couples and one single. We were delighted with the house and had a most enjoyable stay. The house was beautifully kept and stocked, and we were all very comfortable for the four nights we were there. However, we were disappointed that the air flow controller on the wood heater didn't work. It wouldn't burn overnight which meant we had to light it every morning. We did inform management on the second day and they said they would sent someone to have a look, but no one came. Apart from that, we would be very happy to book this property again.

"Alandra" is an amazing house. We were a group of 8 and had plenty of room to spread out plus the bedrooms were all very big. Great fireplace and we had just the best few days in the Bunyas

Thanks for this lovely nearly-week. It is never enough. We stayed at Alandra for the first time and found it so great. A pity there was no wifi and the TV reception was quite poor but we managed. Otherwise, it was a beautiful house to stay in. It was warm and inviting and a lovely base from which to explore the rainforest.

Everyone loved Alandra. We have stayed in a few houses at Bunya Mountains now and all family members agreed that this was the best. Beautifully designed and appointed house for larger groups. The house worked well for all ages. Everyone appreciated the large screen TV for downtime after busy days. Wood heater was a roaring success. Loved the safety of the small estate and minimal traffic.

Alandra is a big house with a great outdoor area, overlooking the grassed area towards the BMT estate. With a bigger group, three bathrooms really helps. The living area is huge and the pool table is a lot of fun. For a large house, the fireplace is very efficient and does a good job on cold nights and mornings. It takes a while to work out all the light switches. Overall, the house is well equipped.

This is a large property, very large. So that is good….when you have 3 couples. And you can bring some children as well. Plenty of room inside and outside to enjoy the fresh air. Easy walking to the tracks for walking as well. There is plenty of crockery and cutlery for any meal you are preparing. We wished it had been a little cooler to light the wood burning fire, which was central to the big room. Tucked in one corner was a small billiard table which we played everyday. Each bedroom was very comfortable. And had pillows and doonas and a blanket each. We will definitely be back to enjoy all the wildlife and the peace and serenity.

It’s our second visit to Alandra, we love the house and find it has everything that we could possibly need. It’s in a fantastic position and really suited for my large family.

This home is well equipped, has a great indoor fire and a very spacious deck - to watch the birds from, or just relax and enjoy the nature and surrounds. The deck does have access to the garden without going through the house. Alandra is also located within easy walking distance to the Tavern, Poppy's Cafe, the General Store and several of the wonderful walks. There are 3 good-sized bedrooms upstairs and another 1 downstairs. The master is upstairs and is very spacious. Two of the bedrooms upstairs have access to a long balcony, that is above the deck downstairs. The 3 bathrooms are also spacious. Alandra has good undercover parking for 2 cars, with easy undercover access to the front door. It also has a concrete driveway, and it's set back from the road. It has a good-sized fridge with chilled water and ice, and a large-screen TV. The main couch is a little dated, and the pool table has also seen better days but overall we enjoyed our 5-night stay and will definitely book this property again.

Alandra, Bunya Mountain, Queensland We recently enjoyed a three-night getaway at Alandra, a stunning accommodation nestled in the heart of Bunya Mountain. The house boasts four spacious bedrooms and three modern bathrooms, perfect for a family or group of friends. The separate laundry and huge kitchen, which overlooks the native bush, made our stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. The stack of books on the bookshelves, the games and puzzles and snooker table made it enjoyable too. The high ceilings and carport added to the charm of this beautiful home. We were delighted by the frequent visits from local wildlife, including Cockatoos, Rosellas, King Parrots, dingos, a wild pig and wallabies right on our doorstep. Our days were filled with mountain biking and walking in the nearby National Park, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Alandra is a perfect blend of comfort and nature, and we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful home, well positioned. Very solid timber floors. 4, very large, bedrooms accommodated 7 of us easily. The beds are very firm, so if you like a softer mattress, these aren’t for you. Could do with some knives for cutting as we had to cut a roast with a small steak knife. Would like to see some air conditioning too. Again, a beautiful house, but the choice of mattress will keep us from renting again.

Perfect location. Photos definitely don't do this property justice. Lovely open plan with ample dining and deck areas. Great for kids and adults alike. Well stocked kitchen. Having a bedroom on the bottom floor with bathroom access was good for my elderly mum. We've stayed in many properties at the Bunya Mountains and this one was amongst our favorite.

We loved our time at the Alandra property! The house was clean and well furnished, with plenty of room for our group of 6. Plenty of extra blankets are in the bedroom cupboards for chilly weather and firewood well stocked to keep the place warm in winter. The surroundings are quiet and pleasant with the nearby forest, roos/wallabies and bird life. Highly recommended.

Alandra is modern, well appointed and was the ideal set up for our extended family of 9. The wood fire did a great job of heating the whole house which made it very cosy. Despite being as dry as we've ever seen it, there were plenty of wallabies and birds to keep us entertained. As usual, a great place to relax.

Alandra was a beautiful house and for the most part comfortable. We did not have water on the premises though. We felt the Accommodation Centre did everything in their power to make us more comfortable by bringing drinking water and allowing access to another house for the use of toilets and showers. We cannot fault the staff. They arranged for water delivery to top up the tank, yet a plumber was needed to provide water access to the house. We booked in Friday and had water late Saturday afternoon. We were hoping for some sort of compensation as we were bucketing water and boiling it to be able to wash dishes as we did not have running water so were unable to use the dishwasher. It was quite an inconvenience as we were hosting international visitors. The owner has apparently paid the extra to stay in the residence next door, but why??? We didn't stay in that residence! We only used one shower and one toilet. Were we expected to pay for Alania too?
