First time to the Bunya's. We had a relaxing visit and enjoyed the walks and birdlife.

Great little house in a great little spot. Private yet still close enough to the village and walks etc.

$180 per night is too expensive for the standard of accommodation (especially seeing it was mid week & not even booked on the day of enquiry - which was the entry day)

We love staying at the Bunya Mountains. We love the peacefulness, tranquility and the spacious land that surrounds all of the properties. Having a wood burning fire is a must as is a pool table to keep the big kids entertained. There was a plentiful supply of wood, and we were thankful that we brought a good amount inside before the rain came. The electric blankets and doonas kept us nice and warm at night. This particular house is quite old and is in need of a bit of a spruce up. It did us just fine, but we have our favourites.

Oh, it was just the most perfect 2 days. My partner who has not been on holiday in 3 years had the time of his life as we celebrated my birthday on our weekend away together. With nature all around us swallowing us in its beauty and brilliance we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Not only was our relationship cemented but the pure beauty of this place captured our hearts forever! We will certainly be back for more of natures bliss. The house with its wonderful spa just completed the moment...

Everything excellent - the house, the location, the staff, Poppies on the Hill, the walks, the weather. A perfect holiday. Only had 3 days but could enjoy much longer.
John Hodgson
Spent a wonderful 3 day break here, very clean and well maintained. Beautiful surroundings in a gated secure location. We made some new best friends ( feathered variety) would definitely book this house again for a longer stay.

A wonderful getaway. So Quiet! Just sitting on the verandah watching & listening to the wallabies and birds. We were a little unprepared food wise but got through ok. We should also have taken some dvd's with us as there was no reception. But it made us enjoy being in Bunya mountains all the more. Great bushwalks. We watched an amazing sunset(I will never forget) from Westcott lookout and a torch light walk back afterwards. A tea break at little falls watching the tadpoles. The house was older but clean and had everything we needed. Collection and drop off of keys and map to find the house was easy. Will definitely be going back.

Great location, house needs a lot of attention, getting run down. Tap over kitchen sink not working properly, axes very dull difficult to chop any wood.Whole house needs a good clean and airing, including carpets and bedding.

There's no doubt the Bunya Mountains is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. Magnificent scenery, magic wildlife, peaceful and idyllic in every sense. A Touch Of Paradise was a nice property, but a bit old, tired and needing some maintenance and TLC. Everything you needed was provided, apart from an iron and ironing board. The kitchen, living and bedrooms were very spacious, and the pool table was a bonus. A great deck with BBQ and fabulous views, and very private. Location was a short walk from the main centre for coffee, bushwalks and bar. Overall we had a lovely weekend break, but I will probably choose a different property for our next visit.

I really enjoyed my time at Bunya Mountains, everyone was very helpful and had no issues with the accommodation. Will definitely be back!!!

I love the bunya mountains, always a relaxing time to recharge. Poppy’s is a great place for morning tea/lunch. The chalet is in a great position.

This is beautiful house, has plenty of space. A great fireplace, which we had going every night. Lots of birds.

Touch of paradise was a nice comfortable house with a great view. It was up the hill but all on the one level with storage and carport underneath. All the rooms were spacious and the kitchen had all you need. We had kangaroos in the front garden. Plenty of wood was provided and small wood, matches and some toilet paper was left by the previous tenant. The fireplace kept most of the house pretty warm. We went on the Barkers circuit which was an easy 10km. Watch out for the ticks! Overall we had a lovely peaceful time.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Bunya Mountain, the accommodation was great as it was described. The forest surrounding is incredible and the walking tracks enjoyable. The coffee and food from the local cafes was very terrific, We will be going again soon.

We love visiting the bunya's and enjoyed our stay here. Highlights were the nice view into the valley, the misty mornings, watching the wallabies and their joeys on the lawn in front of the house. The log burner was great for keeping the lounge / kitchen area warm. The beds were cosy and the water was nice and hot in the shower/spa The house is an older property which could do with some updating and repairs but all in all we enjoyed our stay very much.
David Swindells
A great place for a holiday break. Very comfortable house, excellent bed , nice views from the deck. Fire place was nice in the evenings. Bunya in spring has the wild birds active, new growth in the bush with lots of colour and running water along the bush walks. We really enjoyed the wild birds visiting us on the deck of the house. Will look to stay here again.

I have stayed at a number of Propeties in the Bunyas and I now think that touch of Paradise is the best. This is because the house is spacious, lots of storage, fairly centrally located, great deck with some views, lots of visiting birdlife, good atmosphere. I will probably stay there next time.
Emmalyn Oliver
A lovely stay at paradise, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had all appliances and cutlery needed during a stay at the mountains. Spa was not working at the time which was a disappointment.
Dawn Newstead
Beautiful place to unwind and relax. Accommodation good, views amazing. Loved the wallabies, king parrots and Rosellas. Kookaburras sat watching us, :).Great walking tracks for all levels of fitness easily assessable. And Poppies on the hill, a must.
Peter King
Comfortable house with everything you need including a pedestal fan for the main bedroom for the hot nights.
Beatrice Airs
Aspects that were great - pool table, spa bath, spacious house, lots of pots, pans and dishes Things that could be improved - cleanliness, general freshen up and upgrade, better stocked: there were only 2 teaspoons in the drawer, and almost zero supplies
Grace Koomen
As always the Bunyas were lovely, we call it our home away from home regardless of where we stay - we love the Bunyas :)

A Touch of Paradise could be so much better with a few improvements in decor, such as updated pictures & tiles. It was clean & tidy, the wood fire was great, just needs some TLC.
Deb Clark
Great little place very Central. It was quite warm while we stayed so a couple more fans would have been awesome, otherwise totally suited to us

The Bunya Mountains are always beautiful no matter what time of the year you visit The view from our house was lovely.always a relaxing visit
Michelle Rasmussen
A beautiful relaxing spot surrounded by an abundance of birds. The house had everything you needed, including a pool table with a view! The front veranda is a perfect place to soak up the sun on a winters day while reading a book and enjoying the serenity. The wood fireplace made the evenings cosy and warm even when it got down to -2 degrees. Definitely be back again!

Friend of ours had never been to the bunyas it is now his all time favourite place in Austarlia. But how could it not be the house was beautiful and relaxing and perfect ❤️

Lovely, clean cabin-style accommodation. I especially loved the peace & quiet, yet it was only a short walk to cafes & walks.
Chris Abnett
Hi, the property is comfortable and well priced. Only issue was the spa was not working. well equipped and loads of bird life.
Dan Reid
The house is tired and was not cleaned properly - the windows, carpets and floors were dirty and the house requires a thorough clean to bring it up to normal accommodation standards. The Spa didn't work and hasn't worked for a long time, but the property is still advertised with a Spa. The septic system is beside the front entry, and you smell it when you walk past and sometimes upstairs as well. A few fly screens are broken or missing and have not been replaced. The property has potential and would be a nice place to stay if basic maintenance was done and the house cleaned properly. The national park walks were great to unwind and relax.
Kim Crampin
We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be clean and functional. The pool table was really great for our kids. The house could do with some updated floor coverings but this did not stop us enjoying our visit.
Casey Fogg
The house was a convenient distance to the walking tracks and was comfortable enough in general and had a large kitchen and living space but could desperately use some renovations. The carpet is old and worn and there is no fly screen in the bathroom so cant let in breeze without the mosquitos. The deck and deck furniture was covered in bird poo, i let the reception know but was not cleaned during my stay sadly and this is the coolest spot to sit during the day. i had to throw a towel down to sit there. There was only one pedestal fan provided for the whole house and no ac and the lounge room didn't have enough power points to plug it in as well as the lamp. Lamp didn't seem to work when tried it either. The property was advertised as having a spa bath, one of the main reasons i booked it and the spa jets were sadly broken. No compensation was offered for this or the poo covered furniture when i advised reception. The house was affordable in the off season and is a nice area to get away but was disappointed that these few basics weren't as expected

The house is lovely! We absolutely loved the homeliness, the warm carpet. It had everything you need appliance wise. Kettle, toaster, stove, crockery, pots/pans etc. The only thing I would change is having to pay extra for linen! I feel with the rates charged per night that should more than cover linen. But honestly, beautiful place to stay.

We only had a short stay with 2 Adults 2 teenage children. The property had plenty of space for us. Bathroom was adequate but had the spa not in working order which was a little disappointing. Beds were fairly comfortable. We had all we required for cooking. Everyone in our family enjoyed using the pool table. We got a lot of use out of this for the 4 days and the TV was an excellent size.. The driveway was a bit tricky but it was manageable. We had a visit from some local wildlife also which was nice.

So lovely being away from the main road and tucked away on the other side of the mountain. Enjoyed the fireplace even in summer, we had a very rainy misty morning and windy night during our stay so we needed the warmth. Comfy beds, plenty to choose from, pool table was fun and well supplied kitchen for our needs. Hoping to bring friends on next stay. Loved feeding the birds from the balcony, they’re so tame! The spa bath was awesome too, got to see scrub turkey nest outside while chilling in the bath.

This was a lovely place to stay, very clean and spacious. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the front yard and feeding the birds on the front deck in the mornings. It would be helpful to have an inventory of kitchen supplies to better plan a future stay.

My husband and I stayed at Mt Manor with our three young grandchildren. We all enjoyed our stay. It was an excellent house for young children, and even though the weather was very hot during our stay it was not unpleasant in the house. Fans would be a bonus in summer.
Steven Robinson
This house is a the worst house we have been in on the mountain, it had mould on the walls in the bedroom, the pantry was a mix match of old and damaged plates and cups and glasses and looked like it had been thrown in and not placed in there, the outside doesn’t look like it has been painted in 30 years, the cupboards in the bedroom didn’t even have decent coat hangers in it, the carpets looked old and worn out and need replacement. We were supposed to be in there for 8 nights and lasted just one night before we got upgraded to a much nicer house for the rest of our stay. This house should not even be on the rental list until it gets a major update, we are not impressed at all 😠😠😠😠
