This home was very comfortable and relaxing with everything provided. The abundant wildlife appeared twice daily faithfully for their feed. Would be great for the grandkids!

Comfortable cottage to base our group for exploring the spectacular Bunya Mountains

A Little Bit of Heaven is a great property - and even though there were only 2 of us, great for 3 generations. Grandparents and parent have their own rooms plus there is a large room upstairs which would accommodate 4 children with its own TV and bathroom - how good is that. Well equipped kitchen, laundry etc. and as a bonus a great video selection for the DVD player provided. I meant to leave a comment in their guest book because unfortunately, the last person who used it must have been an idiot. He complains about rats in the roof - in actual fact if you do hear anything, they are possums on the roof - I mean for goodness sakes, you are in a rainforest . We have them at home in Toowoomba. And the variety of beautiful birds who drop in late afternoon when they see you out on the deck is amazing. With the foliage surrounding the house, it is very private. Highly recommended.

House was amazing just needs a soup ladle in the kitchen. Very homey and lots of DVD’s games to play. Hand feeding birds was a highlight and all the joeys hopping around. Would book this house again for sure

Very enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms lovely. Perhaps a better reading light in upstairs bedroom would be good.

11th time staying in one of your houses in the last 20 years and 11th time of a wonderful experience. Houses always clean, comfortable and airy.
Kim Parrington
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Bunya Mountains and recommend for a relaxing break away.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the house and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Although the house is a little dated, the beds were comfy and the showers were hot and strong. Kitchen cupboards had lots of cooking utensils and the full size fridge was very handy for those who like to self-cater. The washer and dryer are a handy addition, although we didn't need to use them. We loved having the birds and wallabies visiting us each day as well. All in all a very pleasant stay.
JOHN BRIDESON
After the generous summer rains, The Bunya Mountains was the greenest we have seen in 10 years. Our accommodation was superb as always and offered everything we needed. We had a great 4 days and did many of the walking tracks, despite the odd shower of rain.
John Matthews
We like this house for our group. We like this house for our family. Big verandas and good for large groups. Sensational wildlife. Nice grassy area for games. Morning sun as well. Good bathrooms well appointed. Big verandas and great for larger groups.

Hi, enjoyed the little place but upstairs bed in the loft was so rickety it was almost dangerous no one could have slept in it. Also the creeks in the floor boards upstairs and stairwell could do with some attention. Especially when people are asleep and you are trying not to wake them.

My cousin & I (two ladies in our mid 70's) had an absolutely wonderful & relaxing two night stay. We were cosy & comfortable; loved all the wildlife & hand fed the birds. The whole area is picture perfect & the local walks were easy enough for us. Thank you for a great visit - we will be back.

We had a lovely time with friends 7-10 October but a few things need attention. The knob on the front door kept falling off. There was only one wine glass amongst the selection of glasses. The lace curtains in the dining area were very dirty & we thought they could actually be removed for a nicer view outside. The upstairs wooden blinds were needing attention. Our four friends who slept upstairs were kept awake for the three nights by animals in the roof which put a dampener on our stay in this beautiful location. Hopefully the owner can address these concerns for future guests.
Gavin Bird
Always great to revisit. We brought Canadian friends and they were delighted with the wildlife.
Heather Reid
We had a terrific time at the Bunya Mountains. It felt like we were at an alpine resort with plenty of space, amazing trees, wonderful wildlife and gorgeous, cheeky birds. We took two friends from The Netherlands with us and they loved every minute of our time there. Check in and departure were easy processes and the staff were very friendly and accommodating (particularly with allowing us to have a late checkout). Thank you for a great stay; we'll definitely be back for another visit.
Elinore Stott
Perfect as usual!
Zita Chapman
The house is lovely and has a very well equiped kitchen. Lots of local critters.
Ashley Garland
My partner, twin daughters and I enjoyed our time at the Bunyas. The weather was cool so we enjoyed the warmth of the potbelly stove and the general quiet interrupted only by the sound of the birds. The walks are always great. We appreciated the time to relax here.
Fiona Prange
Wow! The minute you step onto the verandah of A Little Bit of Heaven, that's exactly how you feel. The house and its surrounds made you feel so warm and at home. It was spacious and beautiful. Can't wait to go again next year for our yearly visit.
Cyndi Kuhnemann
A cosy & warm house with beautiful nature. Lots of bird life visiting Us each day & a possum visited each night was lovely. The Tranquil serenity there at the Bunya's, was absolutely beautiful. Will be certainly returning for another visit.
Christine Barry
Loved our stay. I have no negatives. "Heaven" is pretty much that, comfortable, homely, just lovely. Great outside area for play. The cold water kitchen tap drips and needs seeing to though.
April Lewis
Hello, what a lovely house to stay in 😃, we loved to be able to interact with the birds. We have 2 small children who absolutely loved them. The rosellas were sitting on my daughters head and she wouldn’t stop giggling.
John Brideson
Accommodation was great, weather perfect and we had a great time.
Gwyneth Evans
We just loved this property. With 3 infants staying in 2 cottages, it was the ideal one for our meals and quality time together. We mainly spent time on the expansive verandah, to enjoy the prolific birdlife, (and a cheeky Possum in the evening) but also inside was safe for the little ones. The lounge was very comfy, and the whole property had a homely feel. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Natasha Collier
As always, Bunya Mountains is beyond relaxing, we have visited quire a few times over the years and have stayed in different properties everytime. We love the openness of the facilities and the fact that the properties offer yards for the kids to play in. I have never been disappointed while staying at Bunya. This year my twins were able to enjoy the walks along with the rest of the family, as they are now old enough not to be carried everywhere so that was special. This year we stayed in A Little Bit Of Heaven, and the house was absolutely perfect for my family's needs, with the child gates at all of the stairs and the two singles close to the double in the loft, those extra touches put this mummas mind at ease, this being our first family holiday since separating from my husband, it was good not having to worry about the kids constantly. The house is situated perfectly, close to amenities and all of the walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will indeed be back again, my 10yr old has already picked our next house out of the book. See you all next year.
Lis AndersonMcColl
Great veranda, new bathrooms, spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Only complaints are noises in ceiling and shrubs need pruning for veranda view. So relaxing with wildlife visiting me with my misty morning cuppa. I would definitely stay again with these two issues resolved.
John Brideson
Enjoyed our stay at Bunya Mountains as always. Weather was superb. Inside of the house is of a good standard. Only issue was a TV not working and an oven door not closing properly and of course the ceiling rats at night time. The exterior of the property is looking rather neglected. The decking of the verandah areas is in a bad state and the verandah fencing has several hotchpotch repairs and wood rot. The garden around the house needs a tidy up. In need of severe prune of plants along the front of the verandah.
Lana Cross
Very relaxing. House had everything advertised. Sitting around the fire was a perfect way to spend the evenings.
Robyn White
We had such a lovely week staying in this beautiful house. It has everything you needed, plus more. It was homey and comfortable.
Kate Littlewood
We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely property. The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the loft area upstairs. The house was surrounded by gorgeous plants and local wildlife and we felt like we truly had our own space to enjoy - but it was also conveniently close to the local services such as the general store, cafe, and walks. Would love to visit again.
A Donnellan
Nice position but dated furnishings. Needs some serious TLC
John Brideson
As with all our previous stays and despite the rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at "A Little Bit of Heaven". Still managed to do a few walks. The cottage is great, very comfy.
Michelle Braithwaite
It was my first time coming to bunya mountains loved every bit of it. Kids loved bush walking and the parrots coming on the veranda and the kangaroo
Stephanie Keim
A lovely well appointed home with a calm ambience. A place to relax and rejuvenate.
Deb Wright
Great house. New bathrooms lovely. One of the new tiles in the laundry makes a cracking noise as you step on it. Might break if left as it is.
Phil Mortimer
We had an amazing Christmas in heaven. So relaxing and it was awesome waking up with the birds and kangaroos
Stephen Murray
We had a wonderful time relaxing and feeding the abundant wildlife. The property was great with everything you needed included. We had three terrific nights with friends and would certainly do it again.
Solange Murillo-Carvajal
Bunya and this accommodation truly is a great getaway option. The property is very comfortable and love the rain water system. For big families is lovely and warm although no dishwasher but we all teamed and washed the dishes together like in the old times. Lovely experience.
Michael Eyre
We had an excellent stay. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and the whole property was in great condition. There was plenty of firewood for cold nights and the house was extremely well equiped. I highly recommend this property.
Deb Perry
We enjoyed the serenity and natural beauty of the mountains, the bush walks and wildlife. A great family getaway.
Grace Koomen
We had the loveliest time at the Bunya's and enjoyed our comfy accommodation. Thank you for having us and see you again soon :)

Our 4 nights (3 full days) went so quickly. About our 8th stay at A Little bit of Heaven. House has everything you need and love the new lounge suite. 2 modern bathrooms a bonus. Weather was great, many magnificent walks suited to all age groups. We even saw and photographed the wonderful rifle-bird. Will return next year.

We Love this cottage functional kitchen Only complaint the cutlery sets are more for kids than adults. The bathroom upstairs are really good but will be great to have ventilate & heatings like downstairs otherwise all great. Love it.
Sally Young
As always we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the Bunya Mountains. Such a special place. A Little Bit of Heaven was true to its name. Very comfortable and ideal for our group of 6 adults with 3 queens size beds and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are beautiful and everything was very clean and cosy. Highly recommend.
Pam Hosfield
We had a wonderful time, and loved every bit of it including the cold weather. The log fire was really appreciated!
Beth Micklethwaite
A beautiful place, great for families. Really loved the set-up and the safety features like the fire shield and optional stair gates. Comfy beds too.
Daneile Keenan
It is truly a little bit of heaven. Birds, wallabies, rain, sunshine and a fire place. Poppies, The shop (amazing value - and some really nice things) and The Bunyas restaurant are awesome!! Plenty of room for the kids, and we got to share a coffee on the deck while the kids played. Just lovely
Geoff Partridge
Nice location, roomy and good facilities.
Wendy Davies
The house was lovely with verandas around 3 sides, plenty of room to sit around and feed the amazing bird life. Nice new bathrooms.
Kimi McKitrick
Had a fabulous two night stay. The property was very clean and quiet, frequented by birds, wallabies and a possum. Loved the safety of baby gates on the stairs and verandah. We will be back 🤗
Sigrid Watson
We had 3 glorious nights in "a little bit of heaven". Family of 4 ranging in ages from 80 - 39. Cannot fault the cottage or surroundings, it truly was a little bit of heaven. The cottage was well equipped, the wild life was unreal. Total peace and serenity. Will definately stay here again and have no hesitation recommending this cottage.
Matt Clinton
Great place, everything you needed was there to relax over a long weekend with friends. Thank you.
John Brideson
Must be our 6th or7th stay at A Little bit of Heaven. Lives up to it's name, it is heaven. Great location, very well decked out property, everything you need. A big plus is the renovated lower level bathroom and the new bathroom upstairs, both very tastefully done. Only suggestion to the owners is perhaps a few more microwave dishes of varying sizes.
Wayne Ball
A four night stay in August '19 - not long enough - it really is a little bit of heaven. Very comfortable house with everything you need and a nice casual walk to the village. Plenty of wallabies and birds come visiting and the guests were enthralled with feeding the Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots. Always great walking the Bunya tracks in the cool of winter.
Angela
A well appointed, comfortable home. The kitchen had great cooking equipment and the owners have done a lovely job with the renovations on the bathrooms. This property is in a great location being within a short stroll of the cafe & shop.
John Matthews
We always enjoy the Bunyas every year and this year was no different. This house was great for 4 adults and 2 children. The extra bathroom and toilet was excellent. Great location and wildlife.
Andrea Murphy
This property felt just like its name A Little Bit of Heaven. A great weekend with family, our grandsons loved the visit from the possums, paddymelins and hand feeding the parrots. The property had everything we needed and more. So homely.
Debbie Callaghan
I love this house and the mountain but it's time for a good dusting, carpets n lounge we couldn't stop sneezing n itchy face.
Umair Ghori
Well furnished property with a cosy vibe. Please consider adding fans in the loft area as it can get stuffy during hotter weather.
Angela Gaffney
The house we stayed in was great. Perfect location. The bed I slept in was a bit hard.
