We had a minor issue of a couple of lights not working inside the cottage but otherwise it was a great little place with everything you need. Nice outdoor space and we could see some of the wildlife directly from our accommodation. Staff are great. It would be nice to let people know that there is construction work ongoing in the park when they book accommodation. This was a surprise for us, though we probably would have still come.

We loved our stay in Wallaby Fiesta for an arts forum. It was a short and beautiful walk to Poppies, the village and the bar with its delicious whiskeys. We were completely surrounded by wallabies every day and loved getting the fireplace going each evening.

The house is definitely more of a budget option, but it had most things that we needed. Great for little ones as the bushwalks, cafes and shops were all so close. The bedrooms get very cold (we went in June) as there are no heaters, just electric blankets, so be aware of this. We had a room thermometer for our friends' daughter and it got down to 9C in her room all three nights we were there. The office had some heaters for the two newborns that came along as well which was great. So many birds and Wallabies around the patio at all times during the day which was amazing!

Location beautiful. House generally in OK condition but a few minor things were awry. Front screen door top hinge, toilet door stop, queen bedside light needed fixing. Also one mug was cracked and leaking from the bottom. These are small things but should be addressed before guests arrive. Staff at the centre were friendly as was the maintenance man who came to fix things. Poppy's was a great Cafe. Their bunya icecream lovely. And the national Park just superb. I never knew Bunyas got so huge. We certainly will return.

In this beautiful location, Wallaby Fiesta is within walking distance to cafes, bistro and walking tracks. The carport around the back is not obvious from the front of the house but it is there. The cafe is of as a high quality as the walking tracks. We'll definitely be back in warmer times.

Winter is a lovely time to stay at the Bunya's, although the tempurature was a little chillie. But it the ambience from the fire it was hard to leave the house. We did however go down to the restaurant ror lunch on a couple of times, and the markets wee a great attraction. We were always able to buy something. We booked again as we were leaving for early next year. The local birds are so friendly we always thke something for them.

We enjoyed all 3 days at the Wallaby Fiesta in the Bunya Mountains. The chalet was homely and well appointed, with some thoughtful touches, condiments in the kitchen, board games, books, DVDs, large TV and excellent free Wifi which was a surprise. The Scenic and Paradise walks are super and very informative. The third day there was wet and windy so we made good use of the log fire which added to the experience.

we had the most wonderful time. as we had some tramatic momets during 2022 and this was just what we needed. this house suits us, as it has only 3 steps at the front. the back patios is the best to have breakfast on and afternoon drinks is just the best with the birds helping themselvs to our biscuits and anything that they can grab. WILL RETURN

Our second time staying at the Wallaby Fiesta. It was great as usual. Make sure to bring sunflower seeds as the birds love it. wonderful location within walking distance to bushwalks, cafe, shop, horsedrawn carriage ride starting point, etc. The large verandah overlooking a field is popular for many bird as it's not too enclosed by trees. Bring a heater in winter for each bedroom as the fireplace heat doesn't reach each room especially when doors are closed.

This is the second time we have stayed at Wallaby Fiesta and would highly recommend it. The postion was great, well presented and equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The walking tracks were in good condition and easily acccessible.

Loved our stay at Wallaby Fiesta. It was a girls weekend away and everything was there that we needed. Absolutely enjoyed having the fire and just love the surroundings. Bonus was having 3 queen beds so no one had to sleep in a smaller bed. We would definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Bunya Experience thank you. House was basic, but comfortable. Fire was great, with plenty of fire wood. The mattresses could have been a bit more comfortable for mature aged people such as ourselves. Loved the experience of a hail storm while we were there, being from FNQ, we haven't experienced hail before!!! Thank goodness we were in the Wallaby Fiesta, and not camping. The visiting birds were very special too. We will definitely be visiting again. The staff at the Accommodation office were very helpful while we were trying to decide where to stay, with advice regarding the best places to choose from to enable us to park our camper trailer in the yard. Thank you.

Mum & I had a great 3 night stay in Wallaby Fiesta. It’s a great little house which is very well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the balcony as it had a lovely breeze which was very refreshing on the 35C days. We had lots of friendly visits from cockatoos, king parrots, and crimson rosellas. I look forward to my next stay at Wallaby Fiesta.

This is our 4th stay at Wallaby Fiesta. It is perfectly positioned for walking to the cafes and restaurant. Also close to the Dandabah entrance to walking tracks. The house has a great deck for watching the wildlife or just enjoying the peace and quiet whilst reading a book. Has undercover parking too.

Had a great time the house was lovely and clean. The only thing was the pillows were quite flat and bed was a bit hard. A couple more garbage bags and toilet rolls would have been nice. We brought extra but not everyone might for 7 days. Other than that we had great time. 21/12/20 to 27/12/20.

Great relaxing weekend in the accommodation. Couple of areas that could be improved. Furniture on the veranda was not clean, screens not clean. Set out of lounge furniture is not ideal. Too far away of coffee table and have to walk in between seated people to get to bedrooms. Simple change will Make a vast difference to the enjoyment of the house.

Loved our time at Wallaby Fiesta. Nights by the fire and days out in the beautiful surroundings. Thankful for the electric blankets. Wallabys everywhere the kids loved watching them and seeing the joeys pop out of the pouches. The birdlife was amazing and got to hand feed some with the seed mix from Poppies. Had a good wander through the market on Sunday and bought some beautiful items.

Hi Ladies We had a lovely stay at Wallaby Fiesta. The new bathroom is lovely. Just a note though, the installer of the bathroom vanity forgot to put on one of the door handles - it's still on the inside of the door. We were advised that they ran out of time to install the towel rails, so that was no drama. The other comment is that the deck outside had 2 lights blown - the spotlight and the fluro over the barbecue. The fridge door opened (to me) the wrong way, would be better if it opened the other way, (but that's just me being picky). The fire was lovely and because it was rainy and windy it gave us a great excuse to do nothing but relax, which is what we both needed. All in all a comfortable little house and we enjoyed our stay at the Bunyas, as we always do. See you in June. Barb and Tony Nash.

Our stay was wonderful! The newly renovated house was well appointed and had everything we needed for an easy and comfortable stay. The location was perfect and there was plenty to do. First trip back to the Bunya’s since I was a child but I won’t be leaving it another 30years to come back again. Thanks!
