Wonderful friendly staff on the phone. Thanks you. Several small things; heater in the bathroom seems to not work. Also, the firewood situation! We knew to bring matches and firefighters. However we were not aware that we had to chop our own wood. The wood was rock hard and this made it quite difficult, leaving splinters in our hands. We watched an elderly couple try and give up altogether So maybe an option to purchase split wood would be helpful? Or even being made aware of the situation beforehand. My hubby is recovering from cancer and should not be doing that kind of activity. Otherwise cabin was well stocked and I LOVED the electric blankets!! Thank you.

Lovely time was had by all. The morning mist, beautiful days & log fires at night created a wonderful ambience for our 3 day visit. The abundance of wallabies & parrots that are so tame greeting everyone at the front door added to the experience. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable & well stocked in the kitchen. We would highly recommend Tuggan Tuggan for a group booking. The Bunyas are a destination for everyone to visit.

We loved the lush serene outlook and have booked again for next year . It was ideal to have an extended family get together ! The inside bathroom has been nicely renovated and very spacious . The additional toilets and showers at the back were great but it would be fantastic if there were covered walk ways especially useful during wet weather . Overall great value and very flexible with booking in change of guests numbers on arrival . Can’t wait until our next visit .

$500 bond but such basic facilities like a tiny useless iron and a tiny useless microwave. One tiny kitchen tidy in accom for 22 ppl. Laundry and pool table show as available but are away in a communal area. We could not access the pool table for 2 days as office was closed and we needed the key. Most bedding is upstairs but there is no toilet up there. This factor alone would stop me from rebooking this facility. Location is excellent. Beds were comfortable.

A lovely place to stay. Tuggan Tuggan is good for large groups with lots of space outside for kids to play. Has everything except a laundry, there’s a shared one but quite a walk away. Also only one bathroom downstairs and none upstairs where most of the bedrooms are. Two other toilets and showers but they are in a separate room outside.

We love Tuggan Tuggan. The outlook is fabulous. Plenty of wood provided for the fire. Beds were comfortable and very thankful for the electric blankets. Furniture is a little tired but still comfortable. We have stayed in many places on Bunya but prefer this chalet as it’s also close to the restaurant and walking tracks.

Love the location and cossiness of Tuggan Tuggan . However , it would be nice to have some updated furnishings as it is a little worn and tired . Overall great experience we look forward to annually . There is plenty of space and flexibility with the family numbers attending .

Wonderful place to get together with family. The children got much enjoyment from feeding the birds, the horse and cart ride and the vast areas of grass to play on. Ticks were the only problem. Overall a very enjoyable place to spend a weekend or longer.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tuggan Tuggan and Mai. It was wonderful to have the walks, cafes and wildlife at our back door. There was an amazing outlook and a huge area for children to explore. It was also an added bonus to be able to use the tennis courts and games room.

The shower inside the chalet wasn’t working as well as it should with the water pressure very slow & temperature changing from hot to cold. Not reliable hot water with just a trickle of water! Also there was hot water coming from the ‘water filter tap’???

We had the absolute best weekend at the Bunya Mountains celebrating my Mums 60th birthday. We booked the Tuggan Tuggan and Mai and have not one complaint about the accommodation. The views from the back are amazing and it was the best way to spend the weekend celebrating my Mum with our extended family.

The cabin was great! Clean and tidy and the kids loved the bunk room. The only thing that could be improved is the lighting - it’s quite dark in the kitchen and living areas. There was plenty to do for a few days. The kids loved the birds and wallabies. They also played tennis. Thanks for a great long weekend away!

A great experience. The facilities were good in the accomodation. It was spacious, well equipped & comfortable. It was clean & well prepared. The location was great, in walking distance to all the facilities in the village & handy to the entrance to the national park. The booking process was easy & the response to my inital inquiry was prompt & comprehensive. The staff at the accomodation centre were friendly & helpful. The "natural neighbours"( kangaroos) were friendly too & gained great interest & delight on social media from my overseas friends.

Loved our stay at Tuggan Tuggan. Plenty of room for our team to engage in team discussions and activities. Close proximity to rain-forest walks, bird feeding, cafes and bar. Large kitchen that was relatively well equipped. Clean and comfortable.

They were bitterly cold. The electric blanket in the upstairs right hand side bedroom on the double bed was not working. This bedroom was particularly cold as cold air was blowing in through gaps in the window frame. There were no batteries in the television remote. There were biscuits found in one of the beds and dirty bandaids under another bed. We cleaned many areas before use as well as prior to checking out. We did not bother the office staff with these details as being the weekend, we knew nothing could be done about it.

We loved the new bed arrangement with double beds upstairs. It suited us well as we had family groups with small children. The only criticism we have is that the exit light above the stairs makes it very difficult to sleep at night as it really lights up that top area. We had to use blankets to hang from top bunks to try to block the light. We realise it's probably a requirement now that the world has gone mad with liability, but we probably won't book Tuggan Tuggan again because of it.

Very well furnished and lots of kitchen essentials. Very well situated for privacy. The only drawback was the exit sign light in the dormitory . The kids had to use every available sheeting to create caves. It could have been situated further down the stairs maybe.
