Firstly thank-you for fitting Rachel and I in on short notice. It was everything we were hoping for. Pine View is really comfortable, clean and fantastic view. We had a very relaxing evening.

Pine View had plenty of space for our two families. The kids had a blast sharing a room in the attic. The wide verandah allowed us to comfortably seat our families at meal times. This property had everything that you needed to self cater. We had fun doing the bush walks, feeding the wallabies and birds. We wore the kids out during the day which meant in the evening, the adults could sit down for a sneaky glass of wine or two while warming ourselves by the fire. We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Bunya Mountains.

On arrival at Pine view we were welcomed by loads of wallabies in the yard. The house was well equipped with lots of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ, the beautiful views from the L shaped verandah and our log fire. Lots of beautiful walks nearby. So peaceful... we will definitely be back

Great few nights, open fires during the winters evenings were very welcome.

We had a great time staying at the Pine View Property at the Bunya Mountains and would highly recommend this property. There are only two minor concerns we had for consideration. Finding the property at night is extremely difficult. Due to the geometry of the road the headlights don't shine on the Pineview signage. Please consider relocating this sign closer to the road to assist with locating the property at night. Possibly include instructions for the fireplace - We struggled to get it going at the start and smoke continuously came out from the air vent at the bottom. We still rate this property 5 stars. Given how cold it was on the weekend once we got the fire going we were warm in our accommodation and had a great relaxing holiday.

What a lovely holiday we had being up high in the mountains. Wallabies everywhere and birds flying on the balcony for you to feed! A log fire was lovely to come home to after a cold blustery walk in the forest. Take some sunflower seeds to feed the birds as that's what they prefer to eat! but you can buy bird and wallaby food there in the cafe or general store.

Pine View is a roomy, beautifully located house and we enjoyed our time there. The balcony BBQ and living room fire are nice to have. Unfortunately while the common areas and kitchen are comfortable the same can't be said of the mattresses in all three bedrooms - even though there was just the two of us we had to try them all in an effort to find something comfortable to sleep on, and we failed! The bed in the second bedroom is not quite queen size as advertised either. Surely in the current Covid-era it would also be nice to have just a few basics provided like a full hand soap dispenser, a box of tissues etc.

Great to visit the Bunya Mountains for the first time in a quite a while. Loved seeing all the green grass and the wildlife. A gorgeous place to visit and stay a few days.

Pine View lived up to its name. To sit on the spacious verandah, drink in hand and just soak up the amazing view of those majestic Bunya Pines. So peaceful. Our favourite spot in the place. The house itself was cosy and had everything we needed. There were 7 of us and we didn't feel squashed in. It was close enough to the walks and cafes. We had the most relaxing time.

Well situated in the open lawned area, this cottage would be great for a large family or even two staying together.

Lovely views from property. Fire alarm beeping all night wasn't ideal for sleep. Battery removal did not fix noise problem.

We love the Bunyas, even though it was hot and dry when we were there! Pine View is a lovely house. The views are superb, the wildlife friendly, and the house, particularly the kitchen, is well equipped making for a relaxing stay.

We love the Bunya Mts and go there a couple of times a year. This time at Pine View was the first time in the raiforest estate which gave a new aspect where to stay. Pine View was a little disapointing for us. It was short on blankets, so we had to take one of the dooners from one of the other beds. The fireplace needs attension as it ejects smoke from the air vent even when the door is closed, and takes a lot to draw correctly. Appart from that the view was good and it was nice to have the main bed on the groung floor especially for eldier people. Other than those items we had a wonderful time. Loved the birds & Wallabies, we will return in the near future.

Pine view was a lovely spot for our crew of mums and kids, enjoying the warmth of the sun the whole way through during those cold winter days. The kids were absolutely blown away by the wallabies and the king parrots who visited for a feed of our wild bird seed, it honestly was a magical few days for all of us! We will certainly be back! 😊

Pine View is a lovely little house. It has plenty of space around it and captures the sun for most of the day. An electric blanket for the downstairs bed would be a nice addition as that room doesn’t get the heat from the fireplace.

Lovely house in the village. Great location, walk to the center and walks. House had lovely deck & views. Not the most modern house, could do with a little care, but didn't matter at all. Will return.

Pine View was a lovely cottage with lovely views. Very nice log fire kept the cottage cosy warm.

A warm cosy cottage with basic facilities. Good for family groups with kids but downstairs bedroom positioned directly over water pump which was giving problems all night and kept us awake. Very noisy. Management were quick to try fix the problem but ultimately think a new pump is needed (and ideally positioned somewhere else!) Decor and kitchen/bathroom dated but okay. Upstairs queen bedroom definitely the one to use. Kids had a ball with lots of open lawn around the cottage. Bunya Mountains is just beautiful though especially The Bunyas (bar and restaurant) which is an absolute and unexpected delight (10/10)

The stay was great. However I think a program of eradicating the stinging weeds around the houses needs to be undertaken. There was a large amount and it meant we couldn't really use the grassed area around the house. The BBQ had been wiped down prior to our stay however it needed a good clean to remove the fats that have built up over the years. The BBQ was also getting quite rusty. Almost all of the shelves in the fridge - including the shelves in the door were broken when we arrived at the house. It meant a very difficult operation to store the cold food we had brought. We were happy with the stay overall however I believe these things do need to be addressed by the property owners.
