My best friend & I stayed in Ecos Studios for the Easter long Weekend & it was the perfect little get away. It had everything we needed & the serenity you just couldn’t beat it, we saw dingoes & wallabies & the birds came right up to the balcony too. Nestled away in the bushes it was the perfect escape! The team who handle all the reservations were super wonderful too & the owners left us some fig jam & fresh figs in the fridge! Couldn’t recommend high enough for an escape away! There’s so much information on walking tracks & things to do in the area too!

While the studio was beautiful and very well appointed, we were a bit disappointed that the vegetation around it has become so overgrown. In the brochure and on the website it looks like there are views and lots of light, but just now there are no views and light is at a minimum.

I wanted to turn the property around so I could look out at a view. Looking at the hillside made me claustrophobic. I did see lots of birds, and the property was pleasant and well equipped. The fire was great! There was a hard and knobbly cotton blanket on the bed that I found most uncomfortable and had to remove. Blankets are supposed to be soft and cosy.

I can highly recommend the Ecos Studio. What a lovely peaceful place to stay with perfect privacy tucked away into a hillside overlooking bush and treetops. The Ecos Studio has all necessities with some very special touches such as Isabella Grape jelly, beautifully made, full of flavour and care (made by the owners), a gift of Yowie coffee, some cooking supplies that are often forgotten such as pepper and salt, and oil 🙂, yummy Bunya nuts in the freezer to cook in the wood fire, and importantly, firewood with fire starters for convenience (I did have had trouble lighting this fire before discovering the fire lighters 😂). I am so totally refreshed and renewed. Thanks you so much dear Owners/ cleaners. I will definitely be returning. ✨🙏🏼🥰

We love it here! Both the Bunya Mountains and Ecos Studios. This is such a beautiful area and the little studio is gorgeous. Just get that log fire roaring in the colder weather! The staff at Bunya Mountains Accomodation are friendly and helpful too!

Secluded cabin in the trees. Nice and cosy in the winter chill. Very loud fridge was disturbing, and the mattress was as soft as a marshmallow! We were slightly disappointed by this due to the high price. We loved the wood fire, and the beautiful park however.

My 10 year old grandson and I loved the Ecos Studio! I was happy to have him to help me carry our gear up the 28 steps but the studio and the view made it all worthwhile. I enjoyed the little extras such as good plunger coffee and the jam. We had a great fire each night and the heater helped to keep the studio at a great temperature. I enjoyed also all the environmentally friendly appliances.

This was our second time visiting the Ecos Studio and it was as relaxing the second time around as it was the first. The small size is perfect for a couple, with a cosy fire, comfy bed and everything you need provided. Sitting on the patio in the mornings and evenings with a meal or a book was great, nice and quiet with many different bird species paying a visit. We booked 4 nights and unfortunately had to leave a night earlier than expected, but to be honest after three nights we felt we had exhausted everything Bunya mountains had to offer us anyway. Its a very beautiful location with tons of amazing walking tracks but not much else. Perfect place for a nature lover.

Even though there are few properties driving up to the Ecos Studio once you get up into the driveway and inside it is completely secluded which is what we were looking for. I knew that the linen was provided but I took everything else I thought I’d need including dishwashing liquid and toilet paper. To my delight I was able to put these things back in my car as everything I needed to make my stay a success was there for me. A very well equiped little studio. if you like a house in the trees - this is ideal. it is very private and quiet and surrounded by trees - no view here, but that doesn't matter as the tranquility and the bird song is what makes this so special. the fireplace worked well. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The photo in the advert for the property showing great views down the valley needs to be changed. When you get there you can't even see the cottage as it is completely surrounded by trees and undergrowth. Also there are no barbeque implements. Apart from these 2 things the rest of our stay in the unit was very enjoyable

This unit is so amazingly and carefully set up for everything a couple could need. to relax and enjoy. The design of the place is very clever - everything we needed and unexpected extras were provided in such a non-massive overall space! Ecos studio is one of a kind. Simply marvelous. The property is kept neat and tidy. Everything you needed were there. The main attraction was the birds we could see from our room in the nearby bush land. The property is very well looked after and clearly with attention to detail. Loved, loved, loved Ecos Studio. It was a lovely cosy private place located high in the trees with lots of birdlife visiting every morning. Everything that you might need for a few days stay was provided along with some extra touches such as yummy coffee and homemade jam that both were delicious. We loved our stay, even though it was quite wet and cold in the rainforest, Ecos Studio provided a warm and cosy special hideaway that we would love to return to.

We had THE most perfect long weekend at the Bunyas. Our accommodation at Ecos Studio was warm, comfortable and with lots of much-appreciated little touches like the homemade jam in the fridge, and plenty of firewood. We also ordered a breakfast and dinner hamper from Poppies, and these were excellent - generous, great quality, and really fantastic value-for-money. It was the most relaxing, switched-off, zero-stress mini-break I can remember, and we're already planning our next visit.

Perfect accomodation for 2 at Ecos Studio, invigorating rainforest walks, a glorious sunset to paint at Mt Kiangarow, a massively impressive dinner at The Tavern and so much more! We are so fortunate to have such an escape within an easy driving distance from the buzzing Gold Coast.

This was our third stay at this accommodation. Ecos Studio was a clean, modern and comfortable chalet completely surrounded by bush. It had everything we needed for our two-night stay. We chose to ride our bikes 2.3 ks to the forest walks and cafe on a quiet but hilly road. I recommend this accommodation.

Loved our time at The Bunya Mountains. Wonderful scenery, sunsets, hiking, bird spotting. Lovely quiet, peaceful nights. Ecos Studio is perfect for a couple - everything you need. The trees in front of the studio are great for the birdlife but do cut off some of the wonderful view.

Did not have the best time. The studio was not as nice as the photos. The views were obstructed by overgrown trees. The kitchen wasn't great. The pans have teflon flaking off into the food! The local "Poppies" cafe was one of the worst I've ever been to. Over all, it was a disappointing time and I could have gone somewhere much nicer for the same money.

I could not have felt more special. Arriving to this cute cabin hidden in the tree tops. We came to the Bunya Mountains for the first time for the walks and to get outside in the rainforest, but arriving back to the warmth of the fireplace and the comfortable chairs for a chat, game of cards and a warm drink made these few days off feel like luxury. The storms that rolled through Sunday night didn’t bother us as we felt warm and safe inside Eco Studio. We will be back. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

Cosy modern Cottage with excellent privacy. At first was worried about next to no curtains in regards to the cold weather, however the fireplace did an amazing job at keeping the whole studio warm!

4502 We really enjoyed the bunyas. The only frustration was the information on the Russell Park walking tracks. Our GPS took us the wrong way to Munro's camp. We never did find it. The track near the look out was closed. Several years ago an aboriginal ranger told us about the stone piles marking the tracks for the visiting tribes and the bunya festivals. We would like to know more

Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Ecos Studio was well laid out and private, loved being surrounded by bush. Visits from two king parrots, a pair of bush turkeys, a lizard, a wallaby and heaps of birds. Lovely cabin to return to after the local bush walks.

We found our accommodation to be situated in a nice, quiet spot. The studio contained everything we needed for our stay. We did feel the lounge was not as comfortable as it could have been for our evenings and were a little disappointed that we did not have a view to relax in front of on a verandah. Enjoyed our daily visits from the wildlife and felt our car was safe and secure during our time.

My daughter and I stayed in the Eco Studios; a romantic studio for two. :) We loved it. Had everything we needed to cook, relax and enjoy our time at the Bunya Mountains. Private (unless a visitor walked right up to the front door). Views through the trees. Very close to the walks. More than one option for most things cooking-wise. LOTS of hardwood firewood cut for us. Even tinder to get the fire started. Games, toiletries, etc. This Studio was well thought out and lovingly provided. The visitor centre was very helpful also. ...and the walks? Amazing. Thank you.

A believe the advertising for this property states views of the Downs. The view is underwhelming, a disappointment as this was a key desire. There is a water leak in the deck awning which, when dripped, wet a large area including a chair (on the entry side). Everything else was very presentable.

Ecos Studio is an excellent small house for a few nights accommodation in the Bunyas. It's a beautifully designed building in a rainforest setting. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival and everything worked exactly as intended. We enjoyed it enormously. Just as an aside, the frig is inclined to freeze, we turned it down to its warmest setting and it was fine. It may need replacement in time.
