This was the first time at Bunya Mountains and it was absolutely beautiful. The estate is lovely and quiet with bird life all around. The house was very comfortable but a little dark. It had lots of board games to choose from and a lovely outlook from the deck.

Lovely stay in the mists. Was very cold when we arrived and would have loved some wood next to the fire to start it as we arrived late. Managed to find some eventually and glad it did not rain. Friendly staff and beautiful area. The house could do with a little care and probably should have some curtains to at least keep the heat in as it disipated rapidly in the cold nights. Limited cupboard space in the kitchen as well.

Absolutely lovely weekend. So peaceful and quiet. We went to the restaurant Saturday night and can't believe how amazing the staff and the food/drinks were. The service was impeccable and the food was 5 star. Had a lovely Sunday morning wandering through the markets then sitting in the sun with a coffee listening to the live singer. We picked up breakfast and BBQ packs for the Sunday to cook at the house which was so convenient. Plenty of food (enough breakfast for 2 days really) and the BBQ was delicious.

Fantastic mountain cabin that was cosy and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet holiday. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. We are already planning our next trip.

We stayed at Cedarwood (Bunya Mountain titles estate) for 5 nights during September school holidays (2 adults, 2 children). It was $200 per night (+ the cost for hire of linen / towels). I have been coming to the Bunya mountains for 3 decades and have stayed in many houses across the 2 estates. It’s a beautiful part of the world. Here’s our review of Cedarwood. Pros: 3 bedroom house that is large and comfortable. Big lounge space - lots of comfortable couches. Huge tv & Foxtel in the lounge area. Excellent fire place, heats really (almost too well! lol). Kitchen well equipped. We appreciated the bathroom heating. Board games, puzzles & books. Washing machine was useful. Cons: A torch or battery lighting would be great. We lost power (most houses in the estate did, possibly caused by strong winds) for around 8 hours during our stay. There’s currently no sign on the road with the house name (makes it a bit more difficult to find). There are currently some maintenance and cleaning issues.

Absolutely fabulous place to spend time. The house fulfilled all our needs and was a haven for our short stay.

We loved our stay at the Bunyas. All staff across different venues were friendly, helpful and happy. We stayed for 7 days and found there was enough beauty and nature to experience and explore. We would definitely come back again.

Great position and accommodation was very good. Lovely quiet spot with lots of visits from birds and wallabies. Most enjoyable.

We love our stay at Cedarwood. Very spacious and plenty of room. It was just two of us but you can easily fit a family.
Judith Boyes
A very spacious cottage with nice deck set in the trees. Just a short walk across parkland to the cafe and tavern. The wildlife is fabulous and plenty of forest tracks to hike. Loved staying here,

This gorgeous home Cedarwood had a lovely open feel and the featured wood throughout was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The deck was perfect for watching the wallabies and bird life. The tavern and Poppies cafe were a short walk away.

Cedarwood is well positioned, absolutely lovely and even better than the pictures! Enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the colourful birdlife and taking advantage of the great fireplace and loads of wood. Really looking forward to coming back to this well cared for cottage. Cannot recommend more highly.

Very nice...nothing better than waking up to the sounds of the forest...very good meals at bunya restraunt and at poppy's on the hill. Have been coming here for over 20yrs and still enjoy it as much.

The house was wonderful, clean and cosy. Plenty of room for the family. We were all warm as toast the whole time in the house with the fire place, electric blankets etc We felt so comfortable. The price was very reasonable too. The Bunya Mtns put on such awesome weather. I will certainly tell lots of friends about your amazing houses! 10/10👍

We loved our stay at cedarwood and in the Bunya mountains. Cedarwood was a cosy home and we loved the fireplace. It's in a great location amongst the trees. There are beautiful birds which would visit us on the verandah. A beautiful view of the night sky too. Very peaceful!
Nicole Bieber
We loved the open layout of this home, plenty of space for a big family to be doing their own thing but not on top of each other. Bedrooms clean and cosy, and having foxtel was a nice inclusion. Very well equiped kitchen and lovely deck with lots of birds that come to visit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Always love it up the Bunya's. This house is nice and spacious with open plan living and a great veranda looking over the rainforest. Lots of warm timber trims inside and nicely decorated. Board games in the drawer. A big concern with a toddler is the 2 sets of windows are very low with bean bag/chairs backing up to them and it would be so easy for an active toddler to accidentally fall out to the ground 2 stories below, even with the chairs pulled away from the windows. We kept the windows open just a small amount, even though it was quite hot inside, being Summer. In winter I suppose it wouldn't be a problem because you wouldn't need the windows open. Same with the bottom of the stair case. No rail to stop a toddler/crawler from falling over the edge which is about a metre high at the bottom....the stairs are quite steep leading up to the attic with nothing to stop a crawler from going up them or falling down them.

We had a lovely time. The cottage was in a great location, within walking distance of the cafe, restaurant and shop. The rain didn't stop us from enjoying our walks (when it wasn't too heavy), and even in December, we enjoyed the log fire for a few of our nights. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. A good blend of fresh air and exercise, with the afternoons spent lazing around or talking to the birds on our deck.

Walking in to cedarwood was the best part of arriving. We felt so at home and comfortable the cleaning was great. The place was so beautifully furnished. Even though we had neighbours it still felt so private. Short walk to the cafes was also a bonus. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Dianne Whitby
Our stay was very enjoyable and the house comfortable and had very pleasant outlook. There were two things that could be done to improve it. The first is there appeared to be no house name and number to identify it and we were confused which drive to use. The second was to conserve water and reduce the owners costs would be to install a duel flush toilet cistern.

We loved our 4-night/5 day stay at Cedarwood! So much space, very comfortable and well appointed. The woodburner was much appreciated! Loved the visits from local wildlife - many species of birds, wallabies, etc. Convenient to walking trails and community amenities. We would stay here again.
Rebecca S
We loved our time in this charismatic home! Cedarwood provided the best of everything, wide open main living areas with Bunya pine views and wood fire plus cosy bedrooms on interesting levels, all in close walking distance to the café, tavern and best walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Maree Rossetto
We had two relaxing comfy nights at Cedarwood. Great deck that the birds visited regularly for feeding. No real driveway so keep a look out, and our car didn't fit under the deck so had to leave it out front.
Anne-Marie Hero
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Cedarwood. It's deck is well situated to enjoy the morning sun and feeding the birds and we liked the open plan layout of the communal areas with the central fireplace. Very warm and cosy! No complaints.
Lorene Hilditch
Lovely place to stay, we really enjoyed our time there.
Wendy Davies
Cedarwood is a nice house except there is no pantry. Every property I’ve stayed in before up at the Bunya’s has always had a pantry with a few staples in it. There wasn’t even any dishwashing liquid in the house.
Helen Johnson
Such a beautiful spot & the perfect house!
Michele Highman
Lovely area to explore. Once you are on the Mountain there is no need to go back down until your return home. Places to eat within walking distance.

Good value for money. Accom was old but clean . Loved the birds. Wallabies looked out of control .Very dry so not much feed I suppose. Our first visit but we will be back after some rain gets the creeks running again.

Very much enjoyed our stay, felt very much at home at Cedarwood. The Coffee Pod machine was a nice surprise. We've come a number of times over the years and have a mind to return in the future. Bunya Mountains never gets old. It's a gret place to decompress.
Jacquie Rhoades
We have just spent five days at the Bunya Mountains. Cedarwood was cosy, warm and comfortable. We loved the house and would stay here again. The weather was perfect, accommodation was lovely and the staff we dealt with were all pleasant and welcoming. Can't wait to come back again!!
Vanessa Ward
Really adored the open living space this house offers with the fireplace in the middle for everyone to gather around. Bedrooms were so helpful to be so close to the living area and provided for a lovely intimate weekend. Only negative would be the small kitchen and lack of pantry space as we found ourselves having to put food in every nook and cranny we could find. The oven also stopped working on the second night which was a bit difficult. Otherwise was a beautiful time is such a gorgeous woodsy cabin, and loved the deck and the birds coming along to feed.

lovely home . So love our time at Bunya Mountains. Fantastic log fire and birdlife amazing. Well appointed kitchen

We stayed at Cedarwood in the last week of May. It is a lovely quirky and clean house situated on the right hand side of the gated area. It is tucked away from the road by large trees which makes it feel private. There were so many variety of birds around the house, it was wonderful. Even the token possum and pademelons visited. The verandah area is great as well as the sunroom. The kitchen appliances and BBQ are good quality but there is no pantry. There were drawers that we could use. The house was comfortable and it was a solid 3 star rating. We really enjoyed the vicinity in the gated area.

We have stayed at Cedarwood twice now and we couldn’t love it anymore! The Bunya’s is our perfect escape!
Elizabeth Hughes
Lovely cottage surrounded by wildlife and large bunya pines . Comfy couches and large deck for relaxing.
Amber Taylor
We stayed at the beautiful Cedarwood house, the home was lovely and clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The pot belly fireplace was awesome and there was plenty of firewood. We loved that the home was quite private and our children enjoyed the native birds that came to visit each day. Dates stayed 1st and 2nd October 2018. Warmest Wishes The Taylor family.
