Wonderfully relaxing holiday. Perfect home for 2 couples as you can both have your separate bathroom and sleeping areas and can have your privacy. The balcony and view was breathtaking and you MUST bring some wild bird mix and you will be rewarded with magnificent bird life coming to visit you for the morning and afternoon feeds. We loved our holiday in the Bunya Mountains and cant wait to come back.

Bunya Spires and that magnificent view once again surpassed our expectations. We had a winter visit in June this time. It was very clean and comfortable - with the added bonus of having a fire. Plenty of firewood on hand for the cold nights. All the beds were very warm (with electric blankets).

Key collection and drop off was super convenient and house was easy to find with the included map. Wow! What a view when I walked into Bunya Spires the photos don’t do it justice! House was nicely decorated and was lacking for nothing for the stay. It was very cold and windy some nights so the fireplace was great and gave a terrific atmosphere. Plenty of wildlife visits the house including beautiful parrots and wallabies. The view follows you around in this house even to the master bedroom! It was a great house and a great stay, missing it already!

This was our second stay at the Bunya Spires and it was just as good as our first stay. There were 5 of us this time and there was plenty of room for personal space. The wildlife is magical, right in your own back yard and the view from the deck is better than the 2 lookouts we walked to. Wallabies, sulphur crested cockatoos, king parrots, crimson rosellas, magpies, currawongs and a beautiful friendly kookaburra. You can hand feed all the birds,except the magpies and currawongs, once you gain their trust. Take wild bird mix and you won’t be disappointed. The walking tracks in the National Park are great and you can listen to bell birds. A local beer at the restaurant/ bar tops off a great stay.

Lovely views towards Kingaroy with big deck. Quite a high staircase to enter from garage. Plentiful supply of kitchen items and beds comfortable. Wallabies and Wild Birds everywhere. Probably not suitable for disabled as stairs at both front and back areas.

What a fabulous stay we had at Bunya Spires. Great spot with fabulous views and awesome wildlife . We arrived there , no power due to a massive tree down during high winds . Haha no water ( pump ) and no power ! Approached sunset we lit the fire and quickly purchased a candle and a goon sack of water. Really it was such a highlight for the family ! The weber BBQ was lit and a massive dinner by moonlight and our wee candle. Power was back on late in the night 10 pm , thanks Energex . Really ....this place is tops. We realised we'd stayed some 8 years ago. Fabulous trees , birdlife and the wallabies every where you look. It was cool compared to Sunny Coast . Pack a jumper / jacket . We took some wild bird seed we picked up in a F / V side store in Peachester. Such a hit for the local white cockatoos, king parrots, white breasted pigeons, crows, curawongs and more... oh the brush turkeys too. The food perchs for the birds such a delight . The house was well equipped and clean , Just couldn't find candles. Ahhhh . not a worry . When the power was back on , emergency torches found.... in the plugs in the kitchen . Thank you Bunya Spires for an awesome post covid relaxing stay. Easy booking system , just do it !!

Always love the country drive to Bunyas and the relaxed time spent. It's so good to have the option of buying meals at the restaurants. We love the wild birds and wallabies and the nature walks are so rejuvenating. I need to remember to bring bath mats but lucky we usually have a spare towel in the car!

February 20 2023. We had a lovely quite break in the Mountains. Bunya Spires was clean and comfortable, with mostly everything we needed. It does have beautiful views and plenty of birds and wildlife come visit. Unfortunately it was pretty windy and drizzly on our visit...so the night skies were not easily visible.

This lovely home is a great place for a relaxing couple of days or a longer stay. It is quiet, clean and has a spectacular view from the deck and the bird life is abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and being entertained by the bird life and wallabies below. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, utensils etc to meet any meal requirements. It is an easy walk or short drive to Poppies Cafe,The Bunya Tavern and store if you don't feel like cooking or need to stock up on some extra items. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and looking forward to coming back in the future.

Birds were above aggressive whenever we went onto the balcony. We couldn't eat or bbq outside without being overly harassed by the large variety of bird breeds. We started eating inside to avoid the hassle. We love birds, but it was like trying to eat chips on the beach with dozens of seagulls trying to take your food and it has certainly become over the top and not enjoyable. BBQ was also not cleaned and no paper towel supplied to do this. Balcony screen door is also needing new runners and hard to open and close.

Disappointed that the main bathroom was unavailable and there was no reduction in price. Considering it was available at time of booking. We had planned to bring friends so that had to be cancelled. (The other bathroom was an ensuite) Otherwise the house was clean and tidy. Tavern and coffee shop were very good.

Stayed July 20th - 23rd 2020. We've stayed at Bunya Spires several times, at different times of the year. It never fails to impress. We like the open plan living/kitchen area so everyone can socialise. The fireplace is great in the cooler months. The lounge room upgrade is comfortable and works well.

Awesome house in an awesome place! Love the view from the deck, and the animals that frequent the place. Lots of bird feeders (and the birds know it), and plenty of wallabies hopping around. The house is well laid out, with plenty of space and an awesome fire place! One of the best fire places we've had in the Bunya's (and we had a few to "test"). Compulsory visit for us at least once or twice per year. The Bunyas are stunning (albeit very dry, currently!).

This property has everything you need. It is one of the better properties if it is a view you are after. The breathtaking valley is all you can see from the main bedroom, kitchen and living areas and the wonderful large balcony. Birds visit as soon as you sit on the verandah and the sounds of nature are wonderfully restorative. The fireplace was handy as it was still a bit chilly in the evenings.
