This was our first visit to the Bunya Mountains and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aliana and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! Gorgeous house, very compact and cosy. The outstanding views from the veranda and the wallabies and wildlife at the doorstep were amazing. Thrilled to have 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, it made our stay so comfortable. Loved the homey feel of having the board games, dvd's and books (the bird naming book was a definite hit). I'm not sure if I could ever stay anywhere else because it was just perfect. We'll be back!!

Perfect house to stay in a magic location.

Wow what a beautiful spot at Bunya Mts. The house was perfect for 6 people, everything you need is there. It was so clean and well presented, perfect location on the mountain. We have booked again for next year!

We always love our stay at Aliana. It's a great house for families and friends, thoughtfully and comfortably furnished, with everything one could need - games, books, dvds, wine glasses :) Plenty of space . Great location too. We are sad that our little family has grown too large to fit comfortably in Aliana in the future. Highly recommend.

House was lovely and homely with books and games etc. Having beds made was a welcome bonus. TV upstairs didn’t work unfortunately, but everything else was great. The gate key system is a nuisance though. Three couples and one key just does not work.
Grace Kahlert
Beautiful clean & comfy house with lots of space. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Staff are extremely helpful, contact less check in was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at the Bunya's. Aliana is a beautiful home and we could not fault the cleanliness. Looking forward to our next stay.
Ron Dullaway
We enjoyed our stay, the walks and the peace and quiet of the area. Aliana was very well provisioned and the only items we had to bring were food and clothing. All cleaning items were provided and there was ample kitchenware for any occasion or meal preparation. Linen and towels were also supplied.

Very quiet and very relaxing. We have enjoyed the Bunyas on 5 different occasions and keep coming back for more. Aliana was the perfect cottage for our visit this time. Very clean and perfectly appointed. Our friends, who were first time visitors, were very impressed. Loved the wildlife. Will be back.

Lovely large open living spaces. Great location by rainforest and plenty of wallabies feeding on surrounding lawns. Handled 4 cars easily. Cosy and warm.

Had a lovely stay in Alaina stayed in this house about 20 years ago approx. It’s had a refurb and has air con now unfortunately the air con in main lounge had a fault and would not work. All other improvements are very nice. Had a lovely time celebrating with family and friends for my sister-in-law’s 70th birthday. Celebrated for 4 days enjoyed our night at the restaurant and meals were delicious. King bed and Queen bed upstairs are not very comfortable and could do with new mattresses. Queen one has a big dent in it. When we cooked on the BBQ there were no tongs in the house to use. And not many glasses to drink out of.

Aliana is a lovely property. It had everything we needed - well-fitted out kitchen, comfortable beds, pretty outlook. We enjoyed our time there.
Annette B
A well appointed house in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Andrew Robertson
Nice house, great position. The mattresses need replacing, when you lie on the bed you can feel the springs digging into your back. The BBQ needs replacing, it’s too small, only half of the cooktop was working and it was disgustingly dirty.
Tom McDonald
A nice place to stay.

So impressed with our stay at Aliana. Gorgeous home, well equipped, fabulous position and outlook! What’s not to love! Will definitely stay here again!

This was a great house and place to stay. Heaps of room for everyone great setup and made easier with having linen supplied. I Would recommend it as a very relaxing weekend away.
Leeann Welsh
Great property. Loved that they had the basics like hand soap, dishwashing liquid etc. Saves bringing so much, especially when you are only there for 2 nights. Beautiful house, was clean and linen provided was a bonus. Once again, saves room in the car. Loved the location, easy walk to everything. Beautiful home.

I stayed at ALIANA from 22-24 May . I found it to be clean very comfortable wonderful outlook , lots of beautiful mountain parrots, wallabies all very friendly too. ALIANA was a pleasant ,welcoming ,and everything we required was there. Loved the electric blankets they made the bed toasty warm and so nice to climb into.

Really lovely accommodation. We had a great time.

We were disappointed that the 'small' but important details were not fully catered for in our 2 night stay, of 8 adults, at Aliana, on the 2nd and 3rd August, 2024. These disappointments included :- - Only 7 chairs provided at the dining table for an 8 person rental. The extra stool was of 'no value' at the dining table. - An insufficient number of wine and champagne glasses for the 8 of us to share a toast. In fact, all glassware was generally inadequate. - Insufficient quantities of dishwasher tablets were provided. Three of the 4 tablets provided were used after one meal - and we had 2 additional meals planned for the duration of our stay. The additional 4 tablets that we managed to 'beg' for were exhausted after the third meal. - An insufficient quantity of garbage bags were provided. Again, we managed to 'beg' for an additional 2 bags - which was just enough for us to get 'by' - but if you expect tenants to look after your properties, which we were happy to do, then please, please, please, provide an adequate quantity of consumables to assist with your tenant's endeavours. - There is a 'miserly' attitude towards the provision of Toilet Rolls. Two rolls per bathroom is simply insufficient, requiring us to 'beg' for more supplies from the Office. - The wrong types of saucepans, including mismatched saucepan types and sizes, to be able to cook a decent meal on the induction cook top, were provided. We also found that the cook top and the oven were both dysfunctional - and that there were no operating instructions provided. - There was mismatched and inadequate quantities of crockery and cutlery provided to set a table for 8 adults for a three course meal. Whilst these may be viewed as somewhat minor 'issues' - they really did 'knock the edge' off what should have been an outstanding weekend. Little details DO MATTER.

This was our first time to the Bunyas. We loved our stay at Aliana. It looked quite small from the exterior but is suprisingly big on the inside. Well set out. With the 1 bedroom downstairs - great for multiple families wanting to holiday together and still have privacy too. We had a family get together and it was only a short walk between houses which is so awesome. The grounds are well kept and the backyard of Aliana for children is amazing. They could kick a football and run around. The kitchen was well setup with everything for the stay. We will definately return. A short walk to the restaurant or cafe which is so handy. We had dinner and brekky at the tavern. Verandah isnt huge for the size of the house - but was nice spot to sit and watch kids play.
Greg Cochran
Long time stayer at Bunya Mountains, was ok, Cutlery needs replacing. Not a fan of being watched every time you come and go out the front and back doors (cameras)

After coming to the Bunya Mountains for over 40 Years and staying in various Holiday homes ,this property is one of the best we have stayed in.
Beth Wheeldon
'Aliana' is a beautiful, big house with a lovely deck hosting friendly parrots. The fireplace and abundance of wood was very welcome. There is a lovely green view with mobs of wallabies lounging around. A pleasant walk down to the gift shop and tavern.
Hannah Szabo
Aliana was beautiful accommodation. We have stayed at a number of different houses at Bunya mountains and Aliana was outstanding. It was fully equipped and had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. Very clean, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with great indoor and outdoor living spaces. We will be back.

Our weekend away was fantastic. Have not been to Bunya Mtns for 12 years, used to visit every year for 10years when the children were a lot younger. Each time we stayed at different houses in the different estates. This stay at Aliana was lovely. The house had everything you could ask for, spacious lots of kitchen equipment, although a serving platter would have been useful. The beds in two of the bedrooms were fine, however the only down side was that the other two bedrooms were not. Upstairs there was a double bed which was in serious need of replacing as it felt like the springs were coming through. My sister who got this room was not impressed and did come down to the lounge room to sleep on the recliner on the 2nd night. Also the two single beds were just as bad. May I suggest that if you are going to open the home up to guests, that the beds are of good quality as not getting a good night sleep is detrimental to having a good time and relieves stress. This was the only down side. Unfortunately my sister and cousin who have never been to Bunya before did not have a restful time due to the beds and not getting a good nite's sleep. Would definitely come again, but will make enquires regarding the bedding in future.

Very relaxing although not a lot to do if not bush walking. Wildlife is very friendly and adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Gated community a plus for a quiet stay.
Lorna O’Donnell
This is one of the best equipped holiday homes we have ever stayed in. Tons of room for 3 couples, each with our own bathroom, what a treat! Enough space for 4 couples to fit comfortably. The fireplace works well & kept us snug and warm. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding lovely and warm. Lovely views & easy access to walks. Coffee shop, The Bunyas Tavern & convenience store 5 minutes walk away. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home in a lovely spot with a really nice aspect. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms. The stove top coffee percolator is missing a piece - we found that out when the coffee bubbled over onto the stove top! Would happily stay here again.
