What is supplied in all houses: –

Log fire – a block splitter and a supply of block wood is outside your house. (Exception Mariposa) No outside fires permitted

Doona & covers, extra blankets, pillows

Fully self-contained with crockery, cutlery, pots & pans and basic cooking equipment, kettle, toaster, microwave, TV, lounge chairs, dining table & chairs, beds etc.

Limited supply of toilet paper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags,

What you need to bring: –

Linen (sheets, towels, pillowcases, bathmats, and hand towels) unless your house specifically states otherwise on our website

Firestarter’s, matches and kindling.  You will need to chop hardwood chips and split the blocks into smaller pieces to start your fire

Toiletries – soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and other personal items

All food and beverages including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper & cooking oil etc

Extra toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, garbage bags, washing up liquid, laundry powder.

DVDs, Board Games and Cards, torches etc

Additional Information: –

Bring warm clothes – temperatures are 5 – 7ºC cooler than surrounding plains as we are 1100 meters above sea level.

First Aid Items-Tea tree oil or Pyrethrin’s, (ticks) Stingose (stinging nettles).

No fuel on the mountain- nearest fuel is at Kumbia or Maidenwell (about 30km away)

Very few houses provide Wi-Fi.  You need to use your phone data. Mobile reception can be patchy depending on where you are. Best reception is at JS Fishers Lookout.

Our office stocks extra supplies like light bulbs, cutlery, glasses, plates etc if your house requires these please come down to our office

Office hours are 9am to 5pm 7 days/week.  On Fridays we open until 7pm.  We ask that you settle your account and pay the bond before you arrive to make for smooth processing in busy times, we do not take cash or cheques. Your keys will be just outside our office at the base of the steps from 2pm
